1. I wish to support Blizzard. Blizzard can’t continue to make Hearthstone if all players are F2P. Blizzard wants less leechers and more contributers and I want to be one of them.
2. Dust. Preorder is good value and I want the dust for right now and for future expansions. I might need it in 15 months if I do not get the value now.
3. The cards might even be fun and/or good. This is not a requirement but the cards COULD be interesting.
Uh There is no Counter to Decks who disappear ... tempo mage loses tons of cards (lackey, iceblock, crystalrunner, firelandsportal) and you can´t protect your minions with spells when everything in this expansion has rush (the entire tempo mage gameplay is protect minions earlygame and once you fall behind use everything on face). Kingsbane loses both the naga and the tentacle pirate so it will have more trouble reaching critical mass so no problem either (until they release something busted lol).
PS: People rly underrate the effect of Rush (atm the player who plays faster stuff can choose how to trade but with so many rush options throwing as much stuff as fast as possible is no longer that strong).
1- Do you honestly believe that 135 new cards won't affect the meta, and that cubelock will go unchallenged?
2- Besides there are plenty of decks that can beat cubelock at the moment.
1- So far nothing comes close to insanely OP cards warlock have acess, if a urgent nerf don't hit warlock very hard, don't will have anything else, maybe paladins and only because Call To Arms.
2- Decks will be a lot weaker or totally vanishing soon the rotation hits...
got it and didn't regret.Theese are 2 powerful keywords that will change a lot in the future. This expansion's cards seem must however we don't see the future
A few days ago i would have agreed about regret. However they are starting to finally release good cards that will actually see play and aren't based around the gimmick for the expansion.
I will continue to get the pre-orders up until I decide to quit the game entirely. So far, I haven't found a better way to waste time, so I'll stick around a little longer.

I always preorder because I don't care about the meta or strength of the cards - I mainly play fun decks and decks that revolve around cards people would not normally play
Unless a significant number of good cards are revealed, I hardly need to make any purchase to participate in the next meta. Especially given that there seems to be zero correlation between the rarity of a card and the power level of a card.

Not at all. The preorder deal has never been as good and (contrary to a lot of people apparently) I'm actually really liking the revealed cards so far. I don't care if the cards aren't good as long as they're fun and interesting to play around with.
I think I will preorder, because, as a new player, I'm mostly interested in dust. With gold, I'm trying to catch up with previous expansions. If I will be able to gather enough gold for several dozens of packs from future expansions, this preorder will be the last one. ...And all that as long as I have fun with the game. So far, full competitive HS doesn't attract me (100%), rather ordinary average games with fun twists and suspense.
Card games, TB games in general, cannot without RNG element (Divinity tried to solve this); that's why those games will never have competitive value as real time games (RNG=reflexes). Without RNG, HS would go stale and predictable much faster. So it's wrong to take it to seriously. I don't push myself to achieve anything in this game, laugh when I'm loosing, more so vs Kingsbane, just to laugh even more when I manage to beat the guy, in the least I can learn something... and the best is when faced with a worthy opponent who struggle in HS as much as you do, and both show respect to each other for imaginative moves. What keeps me playing HS is I'don't play anything complex anymore and there is always that one match, after several looses, for which you say - god damn this was so fun, dramatic or hilarious. This keeps me in HS. Aaaand Dungeon runs. :P

If you ever plan on spending money on Hearthstone, pre-orders are the best deal you'll ever get, so no, no regrets. I've never bought a pack, but I've bought (I think) every pre-order. For a CCG it's pretty light on spending, been playing since beta and I have a basically full collection and dust to craft anything I want.
I don't regret a single thing. The amount of packs per price was too great to pass up for me. I don't give a f$%# about the competitiveness of the cards. If I can make some sweet decks, good enough for me.

The blizzard marketing wizards got me. I'm not even mad. The level of deceit was impressive.
Same tought HERE! hahahahahaha Hilarious, and with Brode's Laugh all the way. But being honest, geringontzan filler cards as much as Old gods were really shit, most of them were never used, this season i can see several being used and the meta doesn't need to Be Y'sharaj/Yogg/N'zoth/Barnes bullshit all the time...we can use strategies to make the game fun or different from all the burst we are getting the past months with deck who do nothin but win instantly by playin some combos like Barnes - Ysharaj (TIER 1!!!!) withou strategy, pre think or any like that. Even this Mage Secret or the dudeadin became some terrible to play against or without them...I like this new meta, just didn't not liked some cards like Catedral Gargoyle >.>
One thing I've learned about the Hearthstone community is that there will always be people complaining in advance. When Rin, the First Disciple and Skull of the Man'ari were released, a ton of people went spamming "worst legendaries printed for warlock" and "I'm warlock main and I'm disappointed, time to quit Hearthstone" type of shit weeks before the expansion was released.
Cause, yeah, instead of waiting for a set to come out and testing all the cards and interactions, let's assume that the whole set is shit and whine about it in every single hs related community before the set is even released.
But it was going to be a weapon removal and silence meta which made those cards worthless. /sarcasm
People always think they can tell the meta from the cards revealed I mean remember the ratings on Keleseth on reveal.
Can be... but why they just don't print mindless, broken power cards. It's easiest task in the world. ...Either they are clueless or they do all this by intention. Which? To decrease power now and with future expansions? Are they aware that people who complain about power (and threaten to quit HS) will not preorder exp. because it lacks power!? And if they do, why they are leveling power adding arguably strong cards for already arguably strong classes, creating even bigger span? Still... there are dozens of cards to reveal...
Questions, questions...
