Is there not a megathread for this type of post that it could get consolidated too?
To OP, you are one of thousands of others who say this every expansion. I applaud you for taking a stand because you feel the game isn't to your standard.
Unfortunately, 90% of the dedicated playerbase likely disagrees with you and are willing to put in a pre-order. You might think that we are wrong for doing so and that we are telling Blizzard that we are satisfied with their product... but that's because most of us are satisfied with it.
It might be subpar in your mind, but to most of us, we see a game that has continued over months and years to improve and has been a consistent source of fun/entertainment in our lives.
As usual, I will absolutely be speaking with my dollars - by buying this expansion. I have been playing video games for 35 years and even though Hearthstone is not perfect, it *is* my favourite. We just had the 4th anniversary of this great game. With the support of their paying customers, here's hoping we get another great 4 years from Blizzard. Thanks Team 5!
Boycotting an expansion in hopes that lots of people doing it a developer would make improvements on it, by spending more or giving players free stuff? That's naive. If the boycott is sucessfull and the game starts to not be profitable, more likely the developer will shut it down for good.
Sorry but I like hearthstone and because of the 20 packs extra I actually bought the expansion for the first time. Time will tell if I get dissappointed but the meta is forced to change due to the rotation.
Set is really starting to feel like TGT but we won't know for sure till after the last reveals and card dump.
what was so bad about tgt? I remember it being. fun time. things that stuck out to me about tgt were inspire, justicar and secret pally. and although secret pally was hated I still enjoy playing versions of it and throwing a mysterious challenger package into other decks
TGT is widely held as the worst HS expansion. Not to the least of which was the complete throw away inspire mechanic that never had much impact on the game. Sure there were a few cards that stand out but the set as a whole was weak.

That's a joke post right? You do realize a couple of the current meta decks specifically Warlock are virtually untouched by the rotation to the year of the Raven?
I think this will be the last expansion I preorder. I am very underwhelmed with what we've seen so far and it's clear they don't care about the player experience. I do not enjoy playing warlock of any kind and it's clear the foreseeable future will be warlockstone. My impression of the expansion may very well change once they are done announcing all the cards, but I don't think anything will change the fact that warlocks will be all over the place even more than they are now.
All that said, I will probably still play even if this is my last expansion, just no more serious attempts at climbing the latter. I still enjoy arena and meme decks occasionally.
