Lady in White is a strong card, just. that there isn't really a deck for her yet
You know, sometimes you get cards you cant really fit in existing archetypes. Like, i dunno, Skull of man'ari or Dragon's Fury
Alright turns out a rebuke effect on a body is pretty good, didn't knew the actual stats, knew loatheb is still good though. rebuke isn't that good though cause it doesn't have a body attached and is more of a tech card, rather than just a solid good card, not like loatheb. I play a bit of wild, mostly standard though.. was looking for loatheb data before, didn't find it.
that's why I said yet, we need to see more cards to judge her playability, there isn't currently any standard (post rotation) deck that would like to include her, can't theorycraft any, yet. need to see more neutral/priest cards.
Lady in White is really powerful, but you have to build a deck around it that isn't very good unless you draw her. She sounds like Mistcaller which was insane in theory, but not very good in practice. Lord Godfrey is good, but warlock already has a ton of board clears so one of those will likely get taken out to fit him, and that won't increase the powerlevel of the deck enough to scream OP yet. Remember that control warlock is losing N'Zoth which is a huge hit, and cubelock doesn't usually run the expensive board clears that Lord Godfrey would likely take the place of.
What makes you think that you have to build deck to support Lady?
I prefer more such an approach that I have strong deck which Lady makes even stronger... and deck is not fully dependapble of drawing her.
So Lady supports my deck, not the other way around.

Dude. Ok i ll make it easier. Imagine playing Murloc pally. 5 mana. You either play vanilla 5/5 and get Loatheb effect, or you paying for this effect 2 mana and playing Coldlight Seer or Murloc Warleader which are murlocs and actually have synergy with the rest of the deck . Which one is better, let me think, hmmmmmm
Where were you when they announced Kharazan and MsoG? And did you also cry about patches, call to arms, etc??
Even if I love aggro players crying - I hate when people think they can evaluate/ critizise a meta that hasn't even arrived. You did not even think about the upcomming rotation.
And I think blizzard has A LOT more information about what the majority of the players want than you have. Plus they have A LOT more information about the most played and most oppressive decks. BTW: Did you even check the tier 1 decks before your simplistic rant?
Stop with your clickbait titles and start crying when there actually is a new meta ffs.

I can't think of any current priest deck that she is worth putting into. Unless they release cards that would fit into a current deck that would combo well with her, I think you'll have to build a deck where her effect will be worth the cost of putting her in the deck.
can we stop with the rants already? the expansion isn't even out yet, nor have we seen all the cards ... how the fuck do you guys want to know what the meta will be like or if a card is powerful or not? everybody though cabal lakey would suck, yet is is played in every warlock deck. just be patient and actually see how good the cards/classes/decks will be then you can still go on rants afterwards ...
Ok, I see that some of you don't get how card game sets are made. No worries, I've got your back :)
Sets in card games are usually made months, if not (in case of MtG) years, in advance. So, by the time that last year's meta was forming, I guess either Un'Goro or KotF, this set was already made. This is why it seems to you like they're not keeping up with the current meta.

Loatheb without a question. You are comparing using 2 cards vs using one which is a massive difference for an agressive deck.

What you are saying is that, in fact, they did not pay attention to the current meta before releasing this set. Your comment confirms the title. I edited the title to be more accurate to my point.

I'd love for you to be right, and that warlock won't become as oppressive as Razakus Priest. But with warlock losing almost nothing from their arsenal (umm, I think just Mistress of Mixtures and N'zoth .. so 3 cards out of 30), and then getting two really strong legendaries ... I feel a big nerf coming on about a month into the expac, after lots more warlock hate. And then sad warlocks whose deck got wrecked.

Let's hope I'm wrong.
Warlock isn't even oppressive right now. Strong? Yes. Unbeatable and consuming the meta? Not really. The loss of N'zoth is going to hurt Control Lock greatly and I think you are right about the incoming nerfs they will also face. Although I don't think Warlock is oppressive, I do believe Possessed Lackey and/or Dark Pact will be among a few nerfs when the new standard cycle hits.

I know there are some really strong/oppressive decks which are kind of frustrating to play against. but there is alway a counter. I've been playing a lot kingsbane/mill rogue lately and I am always happy to face a warlock. elly/jade shaman also does decently against warlock if you hex/devolve the right targets. and I am sure there will be new decks that do well against warlock. improvise, adapt, overcome.

Maybe. But everything you just mentioned gets wrecked by the rotation, and it remains to be seen whether elemental shaman will be even remotely viable, as the only way it works right now is with a lot of jades involved. Edit: Warlock will be carrying almost the same power level it has right now into the start of the Year of the Raven ... while no other deck in the game will be able to do that, that I know of. Murloc pallies lose their best early game, Vilefin Inquisitor and Grimscale Chum; dudes lose Stand Against Darkness and Steward of Darkshire; priests lose, well, almost every board clear they have right now. Hunters lose Cat Trick and Cloaked Huntress. I could go on. Almost every current deck takes really big hits to their key cards. But warlock only loses their second end-game board refill.

You just played 2 cards, instead of the one that is loatheb.
that card is a tech card not OPOP like everyone is hyping it to be. if it will see play, you will see max 1 copy in the deck and only in some decks, most decks won't run the card.
Loatheb without a question. You are comparing using 2 cards vs using one which is a massive difference for an agressive deck.
Yep, I am. Current aggro pally have enough draw to allow it, and im not even talking about Wild.
Also, although this is kinda obvious, Rebuke is 2 mana and this is less than 5. That means you can stop turn 4 Hellfire or turn 5 Lackey+Coin+Dark Pact, which is enough for lethal sometimes, especially with Mistress of Mixtures gone.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that Team 5 always adds hate cards for the expected problem decks/cards in the expected meta.
We have not yet seen any of these hate cards. Stay tuned and calm the fuck down.
