Reason why I'd like for them to change it back to normal (or remove it or change or put it to Hall of Fame, just something I don't know and for real I don't care about this not being changed, just making a thread here) is because of Counterfeit Coin. I don't think there is a single card in the game that is 100% copy of the other one. Basically Innervate could just be The Coin
No salt please about me wanting to destroy Hearthstone by making Druid over powered or something, like I said, I don't really care that much, I'm just stating here a "fraud"
Still think that they should have gone with refresh 2 mana crystals to keep combo potential but don't see it being changed again unless they decide to rotate it
Well **** I didn't wanna start looking up every single card in the game. I'm gonna get a lot hate now cause people can't negotiate in a normal way....
What are you trying to say? You said you want the card changed because identical cards don't exist and then you got proven wrong. Doesn't that defeat your whole point? I'm not sure we're "negotiating"
Innervate is a Druid card, and Counterfeit Coin is a Rogue card. That's a pretty big difference. And no, I'm not being sarcastic. They are both class cards for classes where the effect is class-defining. Even if the effect is the same, It's still important that other classes don't get it.

I can see where you are coming from. This card probably should have been HOF'd in my opinion to preserve its functionality, however only usable in Wild Mode. It literally went unchanged through the first 3 years of HS, then once it conflicted with newer developed cards such as Ultimate Infestation, it was seen as making those newer cards even more powerful than originally designed. Prior to expansions such as Frozen Throne and Kobolds, Innervate was good and included in nearly all Druid decks, however it wasn't overpowered with the first few years worth of cards. Most would agree, it was largely considered a dead draw after T8 / T9 in the past.
It is likely more preferred from Blizzard's perspective to nerf an existing card, so it preserves the value the user just paid for the newer card. I personally don't think a nerf was required on this card though, it merely just needed to rotate to the HOF.
There are other cards which are exact copies across classes. Also, Innervate was overpowered, it was one of the most powerful cards in the game and it was a card that was in literally 100% of all Druid decks no matter what playstyle it used. It had to be changed and it's change showed why it was needed, it made a very big difference even despite people being extremely sceptic about it when announced.
I do miss the option to Innervate out crazy Combos, specially with Malygos, but I understand it's need for change and it didn't completely destroy decks I loved, it just made them less powerful.
Under that argument though, why is Sunkeeper Tarim still intact? Paladins use it in every deck. It's used defensively and offensively, for both control and aggro decks. I agree with you that Innervate was overpowered, but that argument could be extrapolated to a lot more cards. Obviously the fact that the latter is basic, which means it's auto-include aspect is significantly more harmful to the meta, means it'll be more dangerous than Tarim, but still... Food for thought.

Why change it then? Why not just HOF it so that it preserves those "Decks you loved" in Wild mode for future use? Right now, we all agree it is essentially just another Coin / counterfit coin regardless of the druid deck you play. Shame to destroy one of the cool staple cards in druid because they created cards that became OP due to it.

Innervate used to give 2 mana crystals instead of one. I didn't like the card for being so powerful in the first turns getting a big drop in or the infamous turn 6 2xInnervate into Ultimate Infestation. Innervate was also really good with Gadgetzan Auctioneer

Me? Gongaga.
Arcane Shot and Holy Smite have always been two identical cards.
Me? Gongaga.
Also Innervate is a Classic card, whereas Counterfeit Coin is from MSoG and rotates out soon.

We all know that refreshing 2 mana crystals was the best option by far. Shame Blizzard thought otherwise
Make it cost 3 and give 5 crystals. That way it can't be used early on, but it still gives +2 mana for the turn.
