MThis may have been supposited before, I don't know - but I get the feeling that Jungle Giants might get a bit of a boost from the new Echo tag.
I've always loved Jungle Giants as a quest - it was one of my favourite. And it was a shame that it is so hard to play most of the time (it's slow tempo and suffered a lot from the aggro -metas that dominated HS for a time.
I'm intrigued to see what other Echo cards might be unveiled - I only hope it doesn't become a bit of a joke meme-y type of mechanic (in the way that the inspire one did).
With 0-cost minions (after the quest complete), i could see lots of full boards flooding wth these new minion types.
I remember seeing a dev (Mike Donais I think) say that handbuffs will not carry over from the original when Echoing. If that's true, then I'd think the same would apply for Barny's cost reduction.

I could be remembering wrong, though.
Might be true as it adds a new card to your hand after each cast, and like Chromagus when he is adding a copy of a drawn card to your hand that card is not cost reduced by Barny.
This mostlikely comes from the fact that these extra cards does not origin from the deck from the time Barny was played, we all know a reduced card hit by sap or vanish does nor retain its 0 mana cost.
Hopefully there won't be any Echo + Spell Damage minions in the upcoming sets, as it may cause an avalanche of combo druids and rogues that deal even crazier amounts of damage
I also think the cost reduction may not work like that, but maybe we get Magma Rager with echo to boost the quest completion? That's also a consideration.
Yeah I think the mana cost part of Echo is quite a severe restriction. Especially when you surpass the 3-mana cost where you’re much better off playing a big minion on that turn than a couple of weenies.
Maybe another alternative is Summoning Portal for Warlock? It might be a more clunky setup but you could drop a board of reduced cost echos quite nicely.
Probably easier to get up and running in a heavy control deck like Warlock too.

Why Rogue is my favourite class:
My submission for this week's card design competition.

I've got the quest for druid and warrior and God i'd love to play them again without getting wrecked. So yeah! Give them some support!
By the way, I am really curious about the idea of Odd-Taunt Warrior. Will definitely try that one out.
