So i thought i hate priest most back in the time where no one actually played it, but i still ran into a ton of it for some reason or another; keep in mind this is when entomb was a card.
I got to say Blizzard seriously doesnt understand how balance. They didnt touch warlock and now over 45% of my games is Warlock ( not joking). I dont know blizzard will do in terms of nerfs, but unless they touch Cube, its gonna be the same bullshit.
Priest, We All know how it was 3-4 months ago when raza priest was op AF, But now that spiteful Summoner is the way it is. its not good design to make a 6 mana card that says "win the game" which is basically what it says. Also its not ever good to have a meta where Mind Control is actually played AS A TWO OF. Now i know alot of priest cards are rotating out, but you never know with blizzard.
whats the most annoying part is since a large % of the playerbase netdecks, this is basically all you face at all ranks between 15- 10. The problem is you cant tech against priest cause you just die to warlock and if you tech against warlock you look to priest cause its a midranged dragon deck.
If not them some other decks will be OP, you know like 200 Armor Warrior, or an OP Moorabi Shaman deck that freezes your stuff and kills you with Enhanced Doomhammers..Just examples of what might be in a month from now.
Then you already forgot the periods when 45% of ladder was Aggro Shaman, Secret Paladin, Combo Druid, Mech Mage, Face Hunter, Quest Rogue and Pirate Warrior.... Every meta on this forum is bad laddering experience
And the meta was bad when Pirate warrior killed you on t4, when aggro shaman had won the game on t2, when jade druid was OP, when mech mage had 10 mechs on the board on t3, when undertaker hunter had the best 1-drop ever. Point being: classes dominate in periods and some decks will always be better than others.
Personally I wish that Blizzard did more to keep the meta fresh between new expansions. At the moment we one month of deck testing when an expansion hits, and then a "stale" meta until a new expansion arrives.
Currently Warlock is 18.2% of the meta (Cube: 9.24% Zoo: 3.02% Control: 5.94%). But when you happen to encounter it in almost half your games, the data from more than 7.5 million games is suddenly worthless and they need to change something so your perhaps 100 games have less Warlock and Priest decks?
Priest is 21.33% but split over 4 different decks, only one of them is running Spiteful Summoner and that archetype is roughly 9% of the meta
Its not that blizzard doesnt know how to balance, they simply choose to make certain cards/classes OP at certain times. Forcing archetypes gives them control over the meta and that is how they want it.
You 've just posted a rant with no valid arguments or discussion point so... I think you missed the Salt Thread, please click here. But you can also tell us why a meta where Priest play 2x Mind Control is not ok.
"Reeeeeee all my matchups are warlocks the game is unhealthy i am crying a river" if you meet a ton of cubelocks just tech in extra silences for the lackeys and the cubes/voidlords
The meta is a nice mix between aggro and control decks. I actually think it's in a much better spot than previous metas that were all aggro all face all day.

Oh man, I wish 45% of my games were warlock. I'd run Rummaging kobold shaman and just clean house.

Not that I don't believe you, I just appreciate raw data.

Blizzard insanely destroy warrior, make the class a completely unplayable garbage.
Ok, I'm sad but have 2 classes to play.
Then, Blizzard nerf all tempo cards keeping the slow but beyond broken warlock cards and don't nerf that cards together, result? Warlock become a invencible class with no weakness, have everything, mass removal, broken healing, card draw, value lategame, best DK, making control for any class, except maybe priest, impossible to play and tempo decks don't able to push pressure fast enough, as a result Valeera was killed too, join in the garbage Tier with warrior and shaman.
Now, I have only mage, but don't like to play "burn the face" kind of deck and warlock is invencible making any control mage deck a lost cause.
Nice work Blizzard, what hell you are thinking when make an excelent 9 manas demon cost only 5 and return for game several times are a good idea? Don't tell me you will only nerf this bullshit in 2 years like you do with Patches?

Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"

two things, number 1 'bad experience' is subjective, number 2 obligatory 'salt thread is over there'
there will always be top classes and top decks.

A meta slow enough for Mind Control to be run as a two of ?
That's a nice change from the aggro snoozefest we got last year.
And the meta was bad when Pirate warrior killed you on t4, when aggro shaman had won the game on t2, when jade druid was OP, when mech mage had 10 mechs on the board on t3, when undertaker hunter had the best 1-drop ever. So they should balance the game around you?

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
"Reeeeeee all my matchups are warlocks the game is unhealthy i am crying a river" if you meet a ton of cubelocks just tech in extra silences for the lackeys and the cubes/voidlords
That's Incredible!

Funny most my games vs pally and priest, and mage
I'm on the Paladin and Warlock Meta with the occasional Priest and huntard.
I like to play with 3 classes:
Warrior, rogue and mage.
Blizzard insanely destroy warrior, make the class a completely unplayable garbage.
