Is there something I'm missing here since I don't see where this type of paladin gets its top tier winrate? I'm playing around ranks 3-1 where I've been stuck forever since I don't have warlock cards. Against everything else it does ok but it's literally impossible to win against warlocks. I got a few wins against cube types but control types usually have like 3 voidlords out but turn 8 and you have already gone through one by that point. And with the meta being 75% warlock at those ranks, what am I missing? More or less same story with murloc paladin though.
If your meta is really 85% warlocks, then don't play paladin, play secret mage.
In my meta, there is like 30-40% warlocks. That being said, pala is almost 0% win against warlock and 100% against everything else (except 50% against mirror obviously). Thus a good average winrate.
Similar to what they have said here. It really depends on the meta. Warlock is the only true bad match up. And there a LOT of those out there. If you find them, then Dudeadin is going to look like a terrible deck. If you want to keep trying it, whenever you encounter a Warlock, just mulligan for Blood Knight and Blessing of Kings and go BIG early on. Also avoid enabling defiles, specially if that means not hero powering. With that I have a 50% WR. By the way Blood Knight is a very good tech card if you have a lot of warlock and mirror matches. If you see a lot of Mage and Priest, not so good. Look at the meta and adapt to it.
All I know is there is a TON of paladin and warlock. I played the other day dudeadin and had 40% paladin and 30% warlock. So I wasn't really going anywhere because warlock was auto loss unless I got a zoolock and paladin was 50/50. This was at rank 8.
Warlock is a nasty counter to them because of cheap clears like Flame and Defile. Emptying your hand will get you killed. Taking two turns to combo will get you killed (meaning you have to be mid-game).
Strange meta you have there. It's not even like Aggro Pala sucks against all Warlock decks, you are unfavored against Cubelock(44%), slightly favored against Zoolock(51%) and a terrible underdog against Conrol lock(32,5%). Control lock is currently 6% of the meta and Cubelock is 8.4%. So encountering those 2 decks in 75% of your games is highly unlikely und unlucky.
Dudedin has a positve winrate against 35 out of 38 listed decks in the meta. So it of course has a great overall winrate

Just run 2 Spellbreaker and 1 Equality.
It has to be snakes.
I don't play Paladin, but I do play a form of facehunter with hunters mark, fungalmancer, candleshot which is good vs warlock

Little bit off topic, but for Zoolock Dude Paladin is a much much easier match than Murlock. Despicable Dreadlord wins you games alone.
Btw check out hsreplay.net . There is a bunch of data there for cards decks and classes in general, you can find the best deck against Warlock.
Secret Mage and most Priest decks (except Control) have good winrate against both Cube and Control Warlock.

Paladin is pure cancer. Why oh why isn't call to arms nerfed to the ground? Broken as fuck.
When I start getting a lot of Warlock, I tech in more silence (Ironbeak, Spellbreaker), and at least one weapon removal.
