I have tried going face, trading, and both mixed, but if I trade, I lose because they use Duskbreaker, but if I don't trade, they buff up their minions to 20/20 and I lose, I have 0% winrate against it and was wondering if it was impossible or if I am just not playing the matchup correctly.
By not playing Zoo in the first place. Zoo is pretty bad right now.
Although some tech can help (as mentioned above) they may make worse it against other matches.
Some tips: - Don't flood the board, if you know they have could have Duskbreaker in critical turns (4; or 3 with coin) - Get to know when to face, or when to trade - If you play the keleseth version, it may help against Duskbreaker - Buffs are always welcome (Demonfire, Bloodfury Potion) - Always kill Northshire Cleric and Radiant Elemental - Direct damage for removal (Soulfire, Shadow Bolt and Dragonslayer) - Don't try to tech Doomsayer. They will steal it and kill you with it.
Duskbreaker is beyond the insanely OP broken level by itself, vs a zoo deck is just one "I win" button.
If you match vs a lot of priests you can't do much than play another deck.
Nerf War Axe to make all warriors unplayable and give so insanely powerful, totally broken, absolutely unbalanced cards for priests, I really don't understand the idea of balance from HS team...
Ya I have a love/hate relationship with Duskbreaker. Love to have it on turn 4/ hate to have it played against me on turn 4. It really seems to the thee 'on demand' card for the current meta. As aggro, I try and force them out and trade, hoping that they won't pick any more up. So if I can kinda load the board, get hit, kinda load again, get hit... then... if I haven't totally lost my mind... really push with what I have left. Aggro against any dragon priest is pretty weak right now.
Zoolock is one of the worst decks to run against Dragon Priest, especially if they have Spiteful Summoner. ControLock and CubeLock are the main decks that can beat Dragon Priest (DiscoLock maybe but its a huge gamble).
But all the tips that Elias gave earlier are 100% factual. The main one for me IMO is Northshire Cleric cause you know how many Priests run Inner Fire nowadays (10-10 by turn 4 is broken as hell).
Have you ever considered another deck to use that can possibly counter Dragon Priest, OP?

EEEEHHHHH
I think we have to define what priest youre playing against. I dont think saying "dragon priest" is an accurate description of anything. There are 4 main viable builds of priest. 3 of them use the dragon package:
- Spiteful Priest (dragon package) - Combo Priest (dragon package) - Control Priest (dragon package) - Big Priest
Zoo would have the best chance against Combo Priest as they lack non Duskbreaker board clears and cannot contest the board very efficiently.
Zoo would have the next best chance against Spiteful Priest because again, they lack non Duskbreaker board clears. Spiteful can contest the board with tempo, but zoo should be faster overall.
Zoo would stand little chance against Control because they have board clears for days which allow them to seize board control with efficient minions.
as far as Cubelock goes, Cube can beat Spiteful fairly consistently if you know the matchup. Cube does have a very hard time vs control and combo though because they can steal your voidlords and either kill you instantly, or wear you down and make your Guldan's and N'Zoth's useless.

See, I run Duskbreaker in my Spiteful deck to counter Aggro Pally.
Regarding ZooLock vs Spiteful, Zoolock (if it doesn't have any spells that can destroy minions like Siphon Soul) will possibly struggle to counter big minions summoned from Spiteful.

Ermmm. I dont really think playing Deathwing in Big Priest classifies it as Dragon Priest deck. ^_^

i very clearly stated which of the 4 priest decks utilize the dragon package. Big priest wasnt one of them.

Yes, every deck running the dragon package needs to run Duskbreaker. However, i stated that Duskbreaker is the only board wipe spiteful has access to and that is why zoolock would have a decent chance at winning vs it. Zoo is faster than spiteful and should be able to simply out tempo the spiteful player IF they dont have Duskbreaker in hand. Not to mention Dragonslayer is pretty much mandatory in zoolock now anyway, so there should be hard removal available to the zoo player.
Aside from the obvious "you have a bad matchup, it'll be tough" comments, I think you just gotta commit, hope for the best, and push. a turn4 duskbreaker means you won't win either way

I mean what list are you running are you playing standard?
If you have demonfire in your deck it helps out a ton vs their north shire and if you are so inclined to you could Tech in Dragonslayer

Malygos Druid is extremely good against priest (and Control warlock too) right now.
It requires a few legendaries but I’ve been playing a deck list a friend suggested and its been damn fun.
Not having big fat minions that get cheaply and scummily stolen from you is brilliant. :-)

Go face and buff out of range, zoolock is really strong against my.random priest deck at the moment, I just don't encounter many
