I agree that it will be Year of the Griffon or, at least, something that flies.
We have had: Water (Kraken), Land (Mammoth), so no we need Air.
I like the rest of OP's ideas/prediction. However, I think getting and Adventure is wishful thinking. I have the same wish, but I doubt it. Blizz *may* do something to help FTP, but I doubt it is putting an adventure back.
I'm pretty sure we'll get an adventure. Blizzard said the format would be 2 expansions and one adventure. The 3 expansion thing was a one time thing.
PS: there won't be any more adventures, just regular expansions with 2 single player "campaigns" in the 2nd and 3rd set of the year
regardless, i just wanna see new keywords to fool around with, many more than regularly. that's pretty much it :)
Source please. That's just a rumor.
Kripparian said in a video long time ago. And he was VERY sure about it. Also it was mentioned somewhere else. I cant remember which of the vid it was, but im 99% sure there wont be any adventures
We're gonna get two class legendaries again. My guess is first expansion Hero cards, then second one new Legendary weapons.
nope, i dont think there will be any more class legendary weapons, since they were so created only for Kobolds and Catacombs. and you suggest year of griffin (which i agree) but you dont mention any possible minion type or expansion names? This was year of Mammoth because it contained a lot of giant cards (from cthun to azari). The next expansion will probably have a sh lot of dragons because guess what : when Hearthstone releases a new expansion it is already working at the third next expansion after that (source confirmed by kripparian). this means they dont print a lot of useless tech cards. Printing of Dragonslayer suggests a lot of Dragons incomming, but not big dragons, rather tech ones and more beast synergies.

Kripp's saying much shit that is not connected to reality by any means and which are just his assumptions made up on wrong conclusions from shady evasive proofs, Noone ever seen kappa. I wouldn't take him really seriously, he may have some nice ideas but mostly it's just small talk, so he's not silent on streams and have something to put in his videos on YouTube

i wouldnt agree with that. Kripparian is a big nerd and cares a lot about the game (which is for me unimaginable as i hate this nerd stuff). Kripparian hasnt been wrong in many meta predictions and has been the first to realize the game problems. + he is i think the only streamer from 6 years ago. Im sure Blizzard keeps contact with him as he is an important fan figure. I mean i hated hearthstone i joined from beta and left directly after naxerammas pay to win bullshit, then came back and left again. Weirdly though last year i watched only two videos from Kripparian and made me rejoin the game on KfT time. you really shouldnt underestimate a gaming nerd lol
I dont know in which article should I put it so Im putting it here. Its not a prediction about whole new HS Year. Its prediction about Priest. I've heard from a few people that Priest will be dead after rotation. I think thats not true. Priest will be waaay more powerfull than he is now. After rotation hits, the only class that will survive unharmed will be Warlock(especially his control archetypes). As we can see, Priest counters Warlock now pretty damn well. Thats is one of the reasons why Zetalots Control Dragon priest is a thing(and also because Priest thanks to his basic set can counter any other control deck succesfully). With Blizzard pushing Spell Priest with Ungoro and Kobolds I believe that after rotation when cardpool gets smaller some Spell Priest wit Lyra and weapon will rise ( and he will be in dragon Shell because priest is the only class that gets Dragon support nowadays). And if we are talking here about pure Control priest. Then well, some deck like this can appear because Psychic Scream is still around. And basically this Priest wincondition will be to outgrind your opponent (He may even play a Benedictus lol). What do you guys think?
HOFing Ice Block will forever lock in Mage as a tempo/aggeo class, no more combo nor control. Another anti-secret tech card or something dealing damage on opponent's turn is plenty.
If they add more armor gain for mages, control mage will be possible without Ice Block. Arcane Artificer might be the first step in that direction.

As the screenshot posted by Lemushki shows, the other zodiac signs are just illustrations, not part of a multi-year plan. If griffon fits with the theme of the expansions they might stick with it, otherwise they'll likely pick something else.
By the way, C'Thun was from the year of the Kraken, which makes sense since a lot of Lovecraftian horrors live beneath the sea.
Mammoth matched Un'Goro (giant beasts) and Frozen Throne (cold), but I don't see the relation with Kobolds nor Catacombs. Although I guess it's difficult to find an animal that fits with 3 themes, especially when they also try to have varied expansion themes.
I believe Ben Brode said last year that there won't be any more adventures, but with every expansion they will give us some [minor- my guess by latest expansions] single player content
He said that for last year, 2017, not this year, 2018.

- I think the next expansion could be Outlands or the Black Temple or something with the Legion in the future. They recently changed the Illidan card animation, so who knows.
- Can't wait for Ice Block to go. Contrary to Warrior and the gutting of FWA, Mage has plenty of other great cards already.
- In Un'Goro each class got a legendary Quest. In KFT a legendary Hero card. In K&C a legendary Weapon. I think a legendary Spell could be the next thing.
I can't see them creating a new card type like quests. Maybe something with professions. Maybe Items that are not weapons, like Magic's artifacts that stays in another zone.
- I would like to see cards with activable abilities with mana costs, possibly usable only once per turn.
- I would like to be able to get heroes like Tyrande and for them to add new ones.
- Maybe year of the Griffin will introduce Flying creatures (able to bypass taunts?). Hm, unlikely they would have to redesign all the dragons...
- The dream of customizable Tournament modes being implemented.
- Next expansion will have Legendary spells, these being high cost WTF effect spells. It's the only way The Runespear, Big Spell X, and Minionless Hunter makes sense.
- Wishful thinking, but they'll add Secrets to every class. One of the biggest complaints about Hearthstone is that there's no way to interact on your opponents turn, and Secrets are a good middle ground to not slowing the game down but allowing both sides to play dynamically.
- Something is going to come out that completely breaks Wild, since there are now enough cards that blizzard can't test all of them in that format (If they even test that format).

Would we know the cards that are going to HoF in advance as in previous year? I would like to craft them for free, saved the dust for a reason
They'll have to or else there would be a mob of angry players.
I only think a couple will be rotated, namely Ice Block. Ice Block has been a problem for far too long. It's used in EVERY Mage deck minus Elemental Mages. It lets Mages do bad trades and play like a dummy, and they wouldn't need to worry about dying since there are no worthwhile Secret counters. Then once both Ice Blocks have been used, just kill the opponent. How is this fun?
1. There will be an insanely broken card in the next expansion. 2. A deck will be made from the card and it will dominate the meta. 3. People will instantly call for nerfs. 4. It will take Blizzard months to nerf the card. 5. The community will complain to no end seeing different nerf threads daily on Hearthpwn. 6. Blizzard will finally nerf the card, but a different deck will take its place. With the nerf they will also nerf favorite cards no one thought Blizzard would touch. 7. People will call for that deck to be nerfed and complain because the additional nerfs killed a favorite deck. 8. Rinse and repeat for each expansion.
I agree with most that there won't be any more adventures. However, I disagree with many that we'll see Darkmoon Faire or Southsea Pirates as an expansion. The Hearthpwn/HS community has never accurately predicted a single expansion. Even with Kobolds, nobody predicted it. Same with KFT - and that's the way the devs want to keep it. The unpredictability adds to the thrill and creativity of new expansions. Plus, I think even the devs understand that a Pirates expansion would be the least creative and appreciated expansion.

Oh, and Red Orcs.
I would love to see the old Red Orcs from Warcraft 3.

@Rise_Before_Dawn Yes if it's the same process as last year.

Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
