One easy solution to Demonlock and Big Priest in the long-term is to print a card that reads "Remove target minion from the game" as a hard-kill against a single target which evades revival effects that being back minions like Voidlord and the Lich king off of barnes. This will help balance highroll decks that cheat out giant minions early in the game or which have extremely powerful deathrattles that you want to avoid.
It would have to be expensive and limited so that it acts as a tech card in case these effects become too dangerous in the meta (like in early cube-lock).
problem would be these cards have to cost a lot of mana or they would dominate too hard. but if the card is expensive you would likely have to let enemy threats up for more than one turn just so you can remove them properly once you can afford the mana cost. which will likely mean you are already at a really big disadvantage until then
Another option would be a minion that prevents resurrection as an aura. This would be a tech card to buy an extra turn against these classes and make them less powerful without destroying them. The minion could be a 2/5 untargetable for say 4 or 5 mana - similar to eater in power level. It would also work against rez priest, anyfin, and nzoth.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Embrace your one, true god. Add cheat death, shadowstep, shadowcaster, Zola the fucking cheesebola, saps, vanishes, all the panda cards for bouncing, all the oozes in the world and some card draw. You will never again lose to warlocks. Everything else will kill you, but not warlocks.
I really thinking put this guy in my deck.
Have a chance to disturb warlock plan and maybe can turn my 1/1 pirate in something better.
You have two options: transform or steal to your side of the board. Both options are rather limited to certain classes though, with the exception mentioned above.
Yes, but we need that effect to be much wider spread across classes. I mean that we need a new keyword similar to Magic's "exile" which lets them put at least one per class so that it can be teched into a range of decks as a safeguard. Currently only polymorph is really useful in this regard, because shaman is T3-4 at best.
Basically, this is what I am looking for--it doesn't transform or kill a minion...it just erases it from the game:
Gnomeferatu does that, sort of. I doubt Hearthstone will ever have removal for a minion on board that doesn't destroy it, transform it, shuffle it into a player's deck, or silence it.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
But then you have to define two brand new keywords, "empty" and "graveyard," as these technically don't exist in name in Hearthstone. How exactly would you define them?
IMO, It would just be better to change how silence works. Make it so that silence nullifies all text from the card, including species type (like demon or beast etc). That way a silenced deathrattle won't come back with N'Zoth and a silenced demon won't come back with DK Gul'Dan.
Also, it would help the (currently) weaker classes, like Paladin or Shaman, if adding a deathrattle effect to a minion with a spell DOES trigger on N'Zoth activation.
Personally, I think these changes would balance the meta out a bit.

It would have to be expensive, to stop the T3/T4 Lich Kings or T4/T5 Voidlords? Yeah, sure :D Whats the point of it then ?:)
Shadowverse has such a card. It was a neutral card that banishes annoying minions so their deathrattles dont trigger. When i left the game there was only one such card. There should be more now.
One interesting way they could do this with existing keywords and interactions would be some neutral card with a battlecry: "Swap card text with another minion." Maybe like a 5-mana 3/4 or something.
Would be sort of neat because if the minion you swapped text with ever got returned to the opponent's hand, they could just use it again to swap the text back. It would also make playing Cube a lot more risky.
The solution is not to find counter for highroll decks. The solution is not print cards like Barnes. But Blizzard is too retarded, they think this is funny. Can't wait to see tournaments when player get fucking Y'shaarj from fucking Barnes on turn 4 and insta win game. Toilet game with toilet cards.

One day this game will stop existing. I can't wait.
If they printed a card like Rin being able to destroy your opponent's deck and skulking geist I don't see why they wouldn't have a card that banishes a certain one from the entire game. But like Rin it would probably have to be a legendary and either have a condition or have really poor stats for the a hefty Mana price. And obviously only working on a minion.
I think this card that i just made would be a cool tech card to help with these problems :P
"Played" means used from your hand by paying it's mana cost, meaning that anything that's cheated into play or otherwise summoned would get destroyed instantly.
PoM/Shadow Madness, transform, Sap effects and silence. You have options, use them or don’t complain about the odd loss here and there. You can’t make a deck strong against everything. Accept your weaknesses and keep moving, the game is a lot less stressful this way....

You mean like Hex or Polymorph?

Better would be a tech card with
"Battlecry: Empty your opponent's graveyard"

I have been playing Warlock with Faceless Manipulator into Sacrificial Pact. If you really want to go deep there's also Light's Champion Wild!
