People playing tier 1 decks in casual and even casual wild need to neck themselves. "Deck testing" isn't an excuse
why?
becuase if are crafting a T1 deck and need CASUAL to learn you are a absolute loser of a person and player. If you can’t play a T1 deck at ranks 20-15, quit and find a new game. If you’re worried that much about stars, they must come far and few between.
Why are you a absolute loser of a person and a player, if you practice a deck before playing it on ladder?
If you never playede the deck before, I can’t see anything wrong with testing it in casual.
Blizzard made a game with a certain ruleset. Everybody playes within that ruleset, so if people playing good decks in casual makes you mad, you should perhaps turn it towards Blizzard in a constructive way.
Why in the world would you practice in casual? Practice the deck in ranked. There is no such thing as practicing a tier 1 deck in casual. You're not really doing anything.
You need to understand that HS is not in a beta mode, and it has been released for a few years and the player database has increased a lot since beta, and you wont see anymore at rank 20 a deck with angry chickens and etc.People invested money and time in this game and a lot of them dont care about ranked.A lot of them dont have time to climb to ladder and play only casual with good decks to finish quets faster.I dont understand why you people complain every day about this game and start forum threads about how bad is blizzard and etc, and you still play the damn game
Whenever I play casual, its in wild, and its for completing a quest where I have to play some cards. Basically everything else can be done in ranked with ease. It is odd how many try hards are in casual trying the ranked decks against people who are clearly worse than them. I would attempt to let her try wild casual, as tier 1 decks are less common, with many more crazy control/combo decks taking prominence. Otherwise, I do not know what to tell you. By the way, depending the deck, you likely wouldnt have to craft more than a few commons or rares to get the wild version of the deck, so budget should not be much of a concern.
So if there´s a problem with grinding the 100g per day, Blizzard may should give more gold for winning 3 games in ranked mode. Maybe 15. It don´t has to bee too much. I know it is pretty bad for new players, cause they whould need more gold, then other players. But maybe the best they could do, to make casual better. I just felt the same, when I was playing casual last time. I mean, PW and other aggros, come on! Is that really necessary? I even didn´t know PW is still a thing, till I played casual last month.
Not buying what you are selling. Why don't you do everyone a favor and tell the whole story? My theory is you played the account for a while and built up the MMR to the point you face netdecks. If you are not a strong player with a strong deck, you simply don't face good opponents in casual and making 20 every month should be cake.
And why would you insinuate that? Based on what? I told the whole story. Your theory, no offense, is full of crap. She started her account. I only helped her through the tutorial and I aided with some plays here and there. I have never sat down and actually played her account. Why the hell would I even do that, knowing it would only make it harder for her? I don't get your comment.
You're essentially calling me a liar. And that, my friend, is very insulting.

My thread has nothing to do with what you are talking about. I know very well how much some people have invested. My OP has nothing to do with that. I went off topic with that one comment explaining that ''practicing'' a tier 1 deck in Casual is just not a thing. Also, what you're referring to is essentially ''farming'' in casual with tier 1 decks.
I once did an experiment: I created a basic non-golden deck with the basic cardback and headed into standard casual. Losing most of my games did not surprise me, but the behavior honestly did. Most players were absolutely radiant to beat a "new player" whose deck did not stand a chance against theirs. Being new nets you more BM'ing than usual, for whatever reason. I suppose people don't like picking on their own size.
Not that this confirms much, this "community" being ass is already kind of its shtick, even if it harms their own game in the long run. Besides LoL and 4chan, I am yet to find more deplorable people online. And then Blizzard wonders why Fireside Gatherings are failed events, why people want auto-squelch and why everyone is so ravenous and negative.
What I'm trying to say is, part of the reasons why the new player experience is ass is because of moronic players. Instead of just bashing Blizzard, maybe players should take some of the blame too and perhaps for once try to stop being such cunts to the game's lifesource. Concede in that 30th game when you run into a new player, even if its clear you've won. It's not that hard and it gets them closer to their next 10g.
Also legitimately surprised a HS player managed to get a gf with these former factors in mind, but that's another story.

i actually always surrender when i see someone is doing a quest and i let them draw all the cards. Usually after that they send a friend request xp . and that goes for new players too. I was once a new player, but most of people just dont care man..lol what am i even talking about, go out irl dude, will there be many people that help you? nope, life's hard ;)
Don't go casual, that's strict mmr, that's the place where you will face as hard enemies as you possible could. Why treat her to such a experience, rather put her in legendary bracket... Don't blame the system for you chosing the wrong queue.
She does play ranked too, as per my advice. The post refers to both casual and early ranks.

No, I understand what you said, the main topic was regarding casual. I know you won't see any wanky decks even on lower ranks. That does not mean it's right. It also does not mean the new player experience is not total shit. What you said in no way justifies the current experience new players get where they go into casual and all they encounter is tier 1-2 decks just cause some farmers decided that's the way to do it.

Yep. I just can't help but feel bad, you know? I do help her a lot and I will build some cool decks for her. She also has a lot of fun with the dungeon runs and tavern brawls, so there's that. She opened Alex and Valanyr recently along with a couple of other legendaries too, so that's cool.

I've been considering buying her packs, yes. Will see. Probably post rotation.
I'm gonna say it sounds like either you have terrible luck, or you were piloting for her the first thirty games or so.
I have an alt account (I use one account on phone and the other on PC), and I've made accounts on other regions to mess around, and have never had this problem.
The first 20-30 decks I play are always complete nub decks, basic cards, playing stuff like Raid Leader or even Wisp. Once I've gotten to about 20-0 or 25-0 then it starts giving me players with legendaries.
Ranked is the same, on my main I can go from 25-20 in an hour or so (which is all I usually care to do because idgaf about ranked).
What they really need to do is just make one queue for ranked, one for fun, and one for serious play. There'd be no way to enforce it ofc but at least it would be a start.
Casual is utterly abysmal right now. I've introduced some friends to the game and they've had similar experiences.
I am hoping that the new ranked changes will be enough that Casual will truly be casual, and the majority of players will be playing Ranked at a level they are suited to.
It could possibly spawn some "micro-metas". Where the top decks of 25-15 will look a lot different to 5-1.
We'll have to see. There are douche bags in every game that take pleasure in playing opponents far below their level. Low self-esteem does this to people.
the new ranked changes would d jackshit toc asual tho because it only affects the ranks you fall off at the end of the month, so you'll still face the Jerkasses playing the tier 1 decks in casual
