hi, i would to craft aluneth to play secret mage. I disenchanted my patches so i have the dust already. I do have decks like spiteful summoner priest, murloc paladin, control lock and cube lock. Prenerf i had alot of succes with control lock but seeing the meta now, i dont think its that viable. I want to play secret mage as i want to climb fast and beat warlocks. I know spiteful summoner priest has a good winrate against warlocks but idk whether its good post nerf. In conclusion, should i craft aluneth and will it be a good card in the future and does secret mage counter warlock pretty well? Or should i just focus on decks like spiteful summoner priest to counter warlocks? Oh, and is big spell mage good against warlocks? Looks like a interesting deck and looks pretty good against aggro and tempo
I wanted to craft one, and then got it from a pack a week or 2 ago. I really like the secret mage play style and tried it before i had anuleth, but i did not have much success in that meta, either to slow or not being able to apply enough pressure before the opponent heals / taunts out of range.
Now the version where i have anuleth you have to plan the turns a lot more, so you dont play it too early and burn cards due to not having enough mana or drawing heavy. Anuleth makes a very good addition to the deck and since you have so many other decks to play as well i feel that it is a very good craft if you want to play secret mage.
Won a game yesterday against a control / taunt warrior. was even until turn 6 when i played Anuleth with just 1 card in hand. Managed to draw some burn and cheat out a counterspell for his brawl after i went wide with and won easily. That match would probably have been lost without Anuleth.
Not too clued up on the big spell mage, since i require some more dust, but i have seen streamers having very good results with it.
I wouldn't, I Love mage and have Aluneth, but, I just don't like using it, or playing secret mage at all, I prefer Big Spell and some Reno mage in wild... but that's my playstile, more wacky and control-ish...
I got it from packs, but I don't think I'd spend dust on it. It's only used in one deck, and that's Aggro Mage, which is fairly boring to play from my experience.
It's not used in any type of Control or Exodia due to risk of overdraw.

I don't think I would. Just use Arcane Intellect. I've found that when I use it I end up pulling out too many cards and milling or killing myself to fatigue even with ice block up! Put in another Firelands Portal instead.

craft it the only legendary worth crafting in K&C ,secret mage very good too
No, only if you're planning to play secret/tempo mage
I've been wondering this also... in f2p and don't have valet so was wondering if it would be good enough to reach the elusive rank 5?
I also just unboxed archmage antonidas so was wondering about dusting a couple of things to make questless exodia?
I was able to reach rank 5 with secret mage. I wouldn't play exodia mage right now it has lots of hard counters
Also you can craft your missing valet cheaply
I can't craft I don't have the adventures lol

Secret mage great deck for climbing, coz it's rly fast and have good wr vs priest, lock and other decks except rly fast aggro like pala or druid.
Spiteful priest good too, and he is cheaper than mage.
Best deck now - aggro pala and lock. But you need a lot of dust for them.
I recommend priest if you want mid range controllish gamepla, or if you want fast matches and me go face - secret mage.
Control warlock is just fine, i wouldn't recommend spreading your dust on every class unless of course you have a lot of it.
