Combo priest (divine inner fire) is really good cause the aggro decks lost a lot of power with patches and creeper nerfs, then for the same reason tempo mage is really really good, specially with all the warlocks on ladder, the list with a lot, A LOT of burn is the bedt choice imo, and then as suggested by others the murloc pally is still amazing, if you see a lot of warlocks just play spellbreakers instead of the creepes and if you don't you can play either scalebane or hydras depending if you want more tempo/mid-range kind of play or just super aggresive.
Do you think that elemental rogue may work? Just an idea with the loss of bonemare and patches.
Elementals are slow and it's so Q2 2017. Now there are much faster cards. if you have limited time to kill your opponent you cannot play Tar Creeper. Even Stoneskin Basilisk or Lone Champion are too slow.
Spiteful priest seems really good at the moment. I’ve been teching in Scorp-o-matic to deal with Doomsayers and one drops from mage, paladin, and other priests and it’s been working pretty well. If only priest had a way to set a minion’s attack to 1 without Pint-Sized Potion...
I still play tempo rogue (grinding to golden hero) And even after creeper, patches and bonemare nerfs it works pretty decent, i have got rank 4 with that so far even i havent play mutch after nerfs.
Fuck me, but I've been playing mill rouge, and its been quite fun, also worked pretty well fellas. With combo decks/cubelock is the most of the ladder right now.
I wish I had the Legendary cards to run the Mill Rogue, but I have always been very unlucky with opening packs for the Rogue hero blah.

Yeah maybe thats the problem xD

Secret mage was the deck you came across every 5th ot 6th game ... Secret Cancer Mage is the deck you play 6 out of 7 games against ...
Same deck ... the cancer deck is just 24 hours newer than the old one
Aaah right, still have to come across any of those - but I'll keep my eyes open.^^
That is all I got this morning before work .. 6 out of 7 games I played ... and they just wreck Control Warlock. Not much you can do when your Voidlords get Polymorphed, they hit you with fireballs and frostbolts to the face, and counterspell your heals.

That sounds too good to be true. :O I kind of want to try it out though.^^
Mage is my favourite class and if it's a good way to deal with the never ending flood of Warlocks nowadays - even better. :D Haven't been doing too well with my big spell Mage so far, although it's a lot of fun to play.

The decks that I've been seeing (from 1 highest to 6 lowest)
1. Secret Mage
2. Murloc Paladin
3. Cubelock
4. Spiteful Priest
5. Tempo Shaman
6. Mill Rogue
I think a lot of people are experimenting right now, much like at the start of a new expansion.
Secret Mage seems to be the Flavor of the Day deck. It's a very hard counter to Warlock decks, especially control lock.
I am seeing a lot of new decks that are probably looking for a good counter to the mages. Anything fast is going to be their weakness (go figure ... Aggro ....). Players are looking for alternatives for pirates and creepers. Saw a lot of elementals and jades last night.
I see a lot of high hopes for mill rogue and miracle ... but I don't think either will ever make or break the meta. Both decks are kinda clunky ... they either work really well, or they don't.
I have a feeling Spiteful Priest could find a spot close to the top. It has few real weaknesses. It holds off Warlocks quite well, with Mind Control, and Operatives being able to create Voidlords. Getting a huge body on board on turn 6 is hard to handle. Duskbreakers are hell on aggro.

Just looking for some good decks to play after the nerf. Any suggestions?

I don't have the murloc cards yet. Does good old aggro paly work?

Spell Hunter. For the fun :)

Against control decks - every combo one is your best choice.

Thanks everyone. Warlock was getting too hard countered, and secret mage was boring after a while. I ended up making this Lynessa Aggrodin deck.
