In that both are games that involve both luck and skill yes. I made no further comparisons. I think that my wording is pretty clear. There is no black or white, only shades of grey so saying HS is a game of luck or a game of skill are both incorrect.
HS and online poker are actually extremely comparable, lol
I'm fucking salty about a "mistake" I made in battlegrounds.
I had 2X 2/8 maexxna and a 2/8 baron rivendare. I thought "No way the opponent is going to tech zapp slywick, because it would have to miss the maexxna's twice which is a 1 in 10 chance to happen. And in any other scenario you've weakened your comp and lose on the spot. I can safely tripple maexxna and aim for a ghastcoiler.
Well, they did tech zapp. The only reason I can think of is that they remembered a 1/7 baron and not a 2/8. I hate that that worked out for the opponent. It was not a good move. Then again, if I had not changed my comp I would have likely (but not too likely) won too, so that's on me.
I've never been this salty about getting second place XD That's usually a goal. I'm just like "If only I didn't change my comp I could have shown the opponent how fucking stupid that switch was. Now they think they were smart" And somehow that really bothers me. XD
But knowing my luck, in this alternative universe where I did not change my comp the opponent would probably have hit the 1 in 10 chance and killed my baron and I would have been even saltier.
Mods in Hearthpwn have always been very nice in comparison to many other forums (yes, even Flux and company). I'm pretty sure you know that already. You're only taken advantage of that to make fun of this site mods using words like "baby" and "pathetic" to describe them here.

Not evil, just stupid and delusional. It is never their fault because they suck at the game. It is always dves and the game having a personal vendeta against them and crying about the lack of skill to play the game (because it is easier to pretend that they have any skill instead of admitting that they suck ball). Pathetic
Idk man, I've had a different experience. It took me months and multiple bans to get ThePlan43 removed from the forum for being a dupe account. Getting them to listen has been quite difficult but it was totally worth it :)

If that's true, congratz man!!! :) I'm happy not because I hated him or something like that (I'm not that kind of person), it's just I still believe he works (or used to work ;)) for HSReplay.net. He constantly promoted that site (in a very stupid and incredible annoying way to be honest -.-), which I believe is not allowed here. Maybe the mods had a hard time dealing with him because of Magic Find's policy or something else, I don't know.
I agree with you about the "stupid and delusional" part, but still, that has nothing to do with being a good or a bad person. A person can be stupid and good, which would make such an individual a bit annoying sometimes, but still would be a nice person after all. That's not the case for many people in the forum. Many don't have any limits, they literally don't give a shit about anyone or anything, and only can be stopped by the mods, because they will never stop by themselves. There is nothing in their consience that tells them "until here is enough", which is a clear evidence of pure malice. For me, having limits and never crossing the red line is what differentiates a good person from a bad one.
Obviously, everyone has flaws and no one can be 100% good, that shit doesn't exist and makes absolutely no sense, especially because we are animals after all, but there is something called consience and many people here totally lack it.

So true - although wild isnt much better. This game is so fucking ZERO skill that I cant believe anyone actually thinks legend rank means you're "good". No it doesnt. Not at all. Just means you abuse broken shit like a fucking ape & got lucky. Rank 20 and Rank 1 are the exact same "skill" level. You cant even use the word "skill" when discussing this stupid game. Its insulting to "skills" everywhere.
What poker are you playing? Never seen a poker game where something other than the cards in the deck were thrown down. At least with poker I know the exact 52 cards in the deck and the odds of plays. HS, pfft, that went out the window yearsssss ago.
That's fair. They aren't comparable with regard to how many cards exist in each respective game. They are quite analogous, however, in that they both are card games that reward you for outplaying your opponent based on what they have in their hand relative to what you have in your hand and both have luck/RNG elements that apply directly to card draw and how effective (relatively speaking) said draw is. Both require skill to excel at, but also require luck. In this sense pretty much every card game is in the same boat, albeit with varying levels of skill relative to luck or vice versa, and I don't think online poker (where you can't directly read your opponent) and HS are too far apart here.
I don't want to derail the salt thread tho, so I can't believe HS devs got together and thought zephyrys was a good idea for a card. Spent weeks developing an algorithm for it so that it would know exactly what options to provide every time it's played and never once thought "hey, this is by far the strongest and most unbalanced card in the history of the game. Maybe we shouldn't make it so ridiculously overpowered. You know, for balance and stuff".

I just hope tho it won’t happen blizz would just admit how fixed the game has become. Anytime I lose same song and dance. Oh I have lethal for 5 consecutive turns in a row? That’s ok my opp will always be given the perfect card via top deck or discover. EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME. Every loss is EXACTLY the same! Completely fucking stolen every fucking game. While the pos who’s fingering his asshole on the other side has to suck his own little dicklett cuz he’s so proud of himself for blizz giving him this so called “win” absolutely pathetic game Hearthstone has become.
