There is literally nothing random about this game. Every single aspect of the game is predetermined. They don't try to hide it - perfect card after perfect card. Exact lethal damage in Battlegrounds. Top deck winners are commonplace. If they put a little effort into it they could make it not-so-obvious.

Is it too much to ask to play against competent players. I don't mind the loss, but when I tee up lethal for a token druid player and they still need a couple minutes to count on their fingers if they have lethal or not, it's quite frustrating. Just cast roar and let it rip.
And you know the idiots are counting too, because they hover over each of their guys in succession before casting savage roar. Absolute fucking idiots. I cry for the school systems that can't even teach people basic maths.
I also agree with the players that hate players farming casual with control decks. Go fucking die in a corner somewhere.

Battlegrounds is just as predetermined as the rest of the game. You either get perfect cards offered or you get garbage and can't make a triple the entire game. And don't get me started on the amazing target selection that the minions seem to have.

The thing that pisses me the off related to Hearthstone isn't even the game itself, is the baby mods in this forums that literally anyone saying anything not nice about a deck gets sent in here, threads locked and told to fuck off to the thread nobody cares about.

How is it possible to get DW two games in a row and finish last place both times?? I had the Rat Packs...but literally every opponent had some too or had other counters like Soul Juggler demons...

See, I'm not a mod, but I enjoy this site. It gets really tiresome when every 6 hours there's a new post of: "I hate this aggro deck", "I hate this control deck", "I hate this combo deck"... it's quite clear every single time, that the OP doesn't like the deck they're complaining about, because it's strong about their favorite deck, and don't like the deck they would have to play to beat the mentioned deck... Except, that's how the game works... Some decks beat other decks... If there's a powerful aggro deck, the combo players cry. Powerful control deck, the aggro players cry. Powerful combo deck, the control players cry. It's a never ending loop.
I'm guilty of complaining about decks early on. I think when Kingsbane first came out, and I didnt have many decks to counter, I posted a salt thread. Didn't take me long to realize, there were decks that easily counted it.
If they allow complaining, the site turns into NOTHING but complaining. "The games are too long", "The games are too short", "The game is too expensive", "These free cards they’re providing are too powerful"... People rarely post when their happy, but when they're not, they'll post 30 threads on the topic. This site is supposed to be a healthy outlet of shared information regarding the game. Not an array of bitching and complaining where people can berate eachother.
The pony avatar gave it away, and I know which thread you're talking about. People told you what was wrong with your complaints, and their replies weren't good enough. You didn't want help with a troubling deck, you wanted an echo chamber where everyone agreed with your salt.
If you genuinely put out a thread asking "how do I beat deck 'x' ", no one will complain, and you'll get some insight.
If you post "I dont like deck 'x', it's not healthy for the meta, because my best deck can't beat it", and then purposely ignore all advice passed along, because it's not what you wanted to hear"... That's salt, and belongs right here.
Nothing better than not drawing activators 10 cards into a game. I wish I could “skill” my way to a win with no deck synergy being draw. Tell me again this is a game of “skill” and not chance.

For this reason, some people prefer gambling, some poker and others backgammon. Choose the right game for you. Then, if one exists, apply the appropriate statistical strategy to win more games than you lose over the long run and learn to ignore the streaks and outliers that might lead you astray.
