 That's how I feel. My last run I easily climbed from rank 5 to 1. Then I just keep losing and losing. It was unreal to see me almost unable to win a game in ranks I had just breezed through

Sounds like that VARIANCE! Funny how it ONLY kicks in right before you hit that next safe rank up multiple of 5 and wears off when you're back at the floor. Oh wait, that's when they tell us we're "tilting" and that's why we keep losing. They have clever words for all occasions it seems. lul

8 galakrond rogues in the row at 2500-3000 legend with my Highlander Paladin. 2-6 score... Even if I am winning big, they always draw 0 mana hoof with Galakrond for a complete 1 turn board turnover. WHos idea was it to give rogue 7!!!!! 0 mana cards they can play? Why play this deck at this rank? Why not try anything new? Have they heard about new expansion? People are so stupid.

Can every class I face against stop getting the nuts every fucking game!? Jesus fucking Christ. Mages got waves of threats, Druid always getting ramp early (btw winged guardian is fucking busted) and for once can I fucking draw my threats and answers!? fuck sakes man this game is so unblanaced now not even aggro can win against these value decks. I tech so hard for the value decks with control decks but it still isn't enough because my opponents get a free win out of me! FUCKKKK

Losing to 0 IQ fucking mages and rogues because they always draw the nuts and get godly RNG results. Why do I even fucking bother playing this game. I fucking quit HS for good. This game is a fucking joke.

I was a desperate rank 1 player too. Reached that rank a dozen times, sometimes very easily, but absolutely never been able to reach legend. Guess i was strong and smart enough to get rank 1 but not enough to win the 2 or 3 games that was separating me from legend. Glad i don't play that fucking retarded game anymore.

This reminds me of WoW. It just became unfun. You’d post hoping that blizzard would somehow recapture the old magic. Other people would aggressively yell at you and claim you’re bad for not liking the game or some other invalid drivel that only people online say. Then you slowly realize that blizzard is gone and only activision remains, all of the time and money you’ve invested is gone. The game has shifted its focus. You’re angry and eventually you just accept it. This hasn’t been the game you fell in love with fir a very very long time,

not sure what i expected, after all you realize it all means jack shit and i have almost 0 interest in ever playing this game again

but in some good way, i'm finally moving on to something completely different....

I don't normally get salty after games. BUT I was playing Arena and I'm playing against druid. Ahead on board all game ahead on damage. He plays Emerald explorer, gets dragon queen alex. Then off that get Nefarian and evasive drakanoid. Super high role considering I had lethal on board and a hex in hand that would lead to lethal without evasive. Fine feels bad I still can win. I play Eye of the storm so I can kill him and I have defense from his remaining big dragon. But no. Guy off of nefarian hits lightning storm AND elemental destruction. Clears my board. I have no taunt left he bms and wins. I don't normally get salty but I have never had such bad luck in my entire HS career. 

Oh, look. VARIANCE! Just when I hit 70% win rate with a deck. Hmmmm. How many times do I have to prove this is nearly automatic? I didn't lose because I got outplayed in any of these 5 games. I lost because: 1 opponent rolled a 34/34 Edwin turn 8, 1 opponent rolled back to back taunts two turns in a row with Conjurer's Calling on Kalecgos, 1 opponent top decked a Khartut on 6 and Siamat on 7 to save his life and turn the game around, and the Warrior got 4 invokes and Galakrond into 10/6 Leeroy AND 5/7 Eternium Rover + 7/6 Zilliax on turn 9. It's just "VARIANCE" that even though I run 2 copies of silence, all 5 games they're buried in my deck, it takes me until turn 15+ to get 4 invokes for Galakrond, I draw ALL my good cards before I can Galakrond, etc...and my opponent gets the absolute nuts every game. This is when I just log off because I know if I keep playing it'll be 10+ losses straight. 

Do the math. 21-9 is EXACTLY 70% win rate...then *flipswitch* instant loss streak to knock me back down to 60% and beyond! What a fucking joke.

This one in particular... but if you're playing ranked, and those are good wild decks (I have no idea what the wild tier lists look like), then those players are playing good decks for ranking up. One man's "cancer deck" is another man's "doing whatever it takes to hit legend".

Sorry, I know this is a salt thread and people just want to vent so perhaps I should stay quiet - but this is a sentiment I see around here a lot, when it's perfectly valid to play the most competitive decks in a competitive environment. Now, I get salty at these decks too - but personally, only when they're smurfing with them, in which case I feel they're going too far.

I dont ask for much, just ONE fucking game where i dont get completly steamrolled! special thanks to all aggro hunters out there that fuck up my day….. how about i draw my healing? no no, not today

50 gold for the draw 20 quest? Okay, cool, cool. But the draw 30 quest gives the same amount as the draw 20? TF is this?

Haven't commented in a while, but I used to love reading the Salt Thread when Kaladin was around. He was annoying but at least entertaining.

It seems the whole thread just devolved into 2-3 people jerking each other off by saying the game is rigged. News flash: The game is not rigged. You guys are just not as good as you think you are. The human mind is inclined to remember the unlucky moments rather than the lucky ones. Stop tilting and you will most likely stop misplaying so much, which in turn, will net you more wins. Of course you will get unlucky sometimes and of course you will meet your hard counter. It's a fucking card game for ffs. RNG is a big part of the game.

One guy even said he always knew big bad Blizzard was rigging the game, because they nerfed and buffed some classes in Arena to make them all viable... Get your heads out of your asses please.

 Just adapt, man. Same with me. Been doing brilliantly with my Galakrond Rogue, then wall druid happened. The bright side, in my case, is that I've got all the cards to play wall druid too XD... So if you can't beat them, join them.
