Imagine you're sitting at a restaurant and finally your soup arrives. Then some random dick comes up to your table and pisses right into your plate. You ask him, 'What the fuck, man?' and he replies, 'chill out man its just a soup'.
It's not just a game, you filthy motherfucker, you're just abusing the nature of the game where you and your opponent are thousand of kilometers away from each other. Bet you wouldn't have been that brave had we been sitting in front of each other!!!!
First go at Yogg mage in standard. My first puzzlebox Pyroblasts me in the face for the loss with 8 minions on the board in what would have been a win. I guess that's what I get for playing Yogg.
I'm a former dev and I see a lot of people are still raging on this forum about our former hit game, and apparently a lot of people didn't get the memo: We've quit supporting this game a while ago, since a large portion of the playerbase has already left and the game is costing us more money (maintaining servers etc.) than it's making us, so we've decided to no longer support it. Just wanted to inform all of you guys that it's best to move on and find another game to play, oh and we decided to discourage any remaining players that are still playing our game by increasing the RNG against them, so they'll quit and our server costs go down. I hope to have properly informed the users of this forum about the current situation, and want to thank each and every one of you for playing and supporting our game all this time, and hope that you'll find another game to play and enjoy, but it's time to wrap it up and move on to greener pastures! ;)
Yours sincerely,
Former dev"
P.S. This post was sarcastic and I'm not a former dev, nor do I pretend to be, but considering the current state of the game it really feels like they're alienating a lot of "older" players, players who've been here and played and supported this game for a long time and who still hold some hope, that some day the devs could magically "repair" this game and make it alright again, and it seems that the "newer" players get favourable RNG and get rewarded for bad plays and/or get "get out of jail-cards" more when that specific game's outcome should already have been decided by that point (especially when your opponent topdecks a card like Zephrys the Great midway in the game, with an outcome of 3/100 to get a card that could save his ass or he would lose the game otherwise, which consists in a total chance of (1/20)*(3/100) = 0.15%, and that wouldn't be a problem if it would only occur in every 15 out of 10000 games, but it doesn't and it literally happens every other game. People have been complaining about this for so long now, and the RNG aspect of the game has only gotten worse over time, so it really seems that the devs favour newer players over their current or "old" player base. Of course there's nothing wrong with preferring certain players over others because it's a corporate world after all, but it would be nice to just hear them say "Yes, we've shafted our old players over for newer ones, because the old players make us little to no money compared to our newer ones", then we could all get along with our lives and leave this game behind us for the P2W-players. But the fact of the matter is, they won't because they don't want to be seen as greedy and hurt their reputation, and the player base feels like it's stuck in a vicious circle: You'll lose a lot of games in a row and will begin to doubt your own capabilities and sanity, until you lay down the game for a while, and when you'll pick it back up you'll suddenly start winning some games again. This happens mostly right before the release of a new set of cards, because the game wants you to feel good, to the point that you're contemplating on buying some new cards with real money, and once you've done this your RNG suddenly evaporates like snow in the sunshine because the game has accomplished its goal of getting people to invest money in it. For the "older" players, we've seen this all before and we know too well that the altered RNG is too much of a coincidence to be legit. Loss-streaks of 40 losses in a row are not even uncommon at this point (which should actually be really, really, really rare in a type of game like this). I don't know why HS is so addictive, maybe it's because of the RNG that creates a gambler's kind of dopamine, but I know that a life without HS is much better than with HS in it, especially with the state the game is currently in. So I bid thee farewell, my fellow players, I'm uninstalling the game and I won't be returning anytime soon. It's a shame it had to end like this, but every story has its ending, and this is the ending of my HS story. Goodbye everyone, I'll miss raging on this game in this sub and on this website, but I think it's the better for every player to quit this game now, than to waste any more time on it because it's a lost cause.
Game 1: 2 Pit Crocalisks, 2 Subdues, Keeper of Uldaman, Aldor Peacekeeper in the bottom 8 cards of my deck. I top deck 1 drops for 3 consecutive turns. My opponent top decks, in a row, Giant Mastodon, Onyxia, Volcanosaur
Game 2: Opponent top decks Bloodlust with 3 totems on board to perfect clear my 10/6 and 5/3. Top decks Reno as I'm regaining control
Game 3: Opponent top decks Savage roar for perfect lethal with 3 minions on the board
And also every single opponent had Tar Creeper on 3. Every one. Including at 0-2.
Zul'jin needs to rotate out with the other hero cards. This 5 matches against hunters playing secrets, twinspell wyvern rush, beast buff and copy 3 into deck, destroy random minions is kinda getting on my nerves guys...trying to keep it together lol. Playing Boom warr, CC mage, highlander mage, treant druid, quest shaman, quest priest, quest paladin. All fucking rip to Zul'jin, by about 3 turns after he's played. The tempo and board swing he generates is asinine.

You may have meant to be sarcastic but I think there is a lot of truth to what you said. The developers realized that veteran players pay for everything with gold. That doesn't pay the bills so they basically ruined the game to try to attract new players by making the game mindless. I am 100% F2P but I would actually pay real money for a version of this game where the RNG was not manipulated.
something has to be done about priest. The value that it pulls off constantly with resurrections is getting out of control. If you are playing that class i hope your pc will explode right in your face.

Just a developer question - if I save my coin until past turn 10 and I have a 9 cost minion that gets caught by freezing trap and now costs 11, why can't I play my coin and then play an 11 mana card?
CAN WE HAVE THE RESURRECT MECHANIC ERASED FROM THE GAME? OR VARGOTH?
If you are playing big priest I sincerely hope your family enters your room while you are masturbating to clown porn. We all know you love it, you are playing big priest after all!

Draft a 76 point paladin deck.

Game 3: Opponent top decks Savage roar for perfect lethal with 3 minions on the board
And also every single opponent had Tar Creeper on 3. Every one. Including at 0-2.
What the fuck.
This game is a turd in the toilet waiting to be flushed
Put your spoiler here.

Just lost to a murloc paladin in 4 turns. That can't happen without a perfect draw. Which happens every game. Well done Blizzard!
Aggro decks that win by turn 6... wow.
Not sure if hyped yet.
something has to be done about priest.
