PSA to every Cubelock player in the game: YOU ARE THE WORST KIND OF HUMAN BEING. I made a vow to myself to never craft patches the pirate or ever play a deck that required him and I made it through the year of the mammoth. I vow to do the same with Cubelock. The deck is a joke and stifles creativity. It takes limited skill to play and took no hit power wise with the rotation. FUCK!
Well this new meta is weird and apparently engineered so that no matter what, I never draw a card I need when I need it.
Game #1 - Taunt Warrior (me) vs. Shudder Shaman - autoquit.
Game #2 - Taunt Warrior vs. Taunt Warrior. He has Sulfuron by turn 4. I can't draw a taunt to save my life. I'm scraping by on 4 armor per turn and topdecking into the handful of rush clears I have. On turn 9, I've drawn *ONE* taunt minion. Finally draw 3-mana taunt echo, play them all. Brawl clear. Top deck the other one, play them all, brawl clear. Top deck the 5/11 taunt creeper. He silences it. Top deck the other 5/11 taunt creeper. HE SILENCES IT AGAIN. Jesus Christ who runs two silences in TAUNT warrior!?!?!? I finally establish a board but his Sulfuron goes face, face, face, and I'm dead.
Game #3 - Switch to Rush warrior vs. Tess Rogue. Fox gives him brawl. Load the board, brawl. Load the board again, plays Tess, brawl clears everything except her AND he shadowsteps her back. Trying to play around Tess, load 2 minions, brawl, AGAIN leaves Tess. BREWMASTER HER BACK. WHO THE FUCK RUNS BREWMASTER!? Conceed.
Game #4 - Tess Rogue vs. Control Hunter. Opening hand: Tess, Vilespine, Leeroy. Mulligan all of it. Draw Vilespine, Saronite, Saronite. Hang into the game until I have 6 cards left. At this point I STILL HAVE NOT DRAWN TESS although I have played Minstrel *THREE* TIMES. Finally draw Tess, play her, he top decks a kill command and wipes me out.
Game #5 - Tess Rogue vs. Taunt Warrior. Same story. Hang in until I have less than 10 cards left. Still have not drawn Tess. I have played a total of 9 games with Tess since launch, and I have played her in a total of TWO games. I have only DRAWN her in about 4. And these games go LONG. Jesus.
Game #6 - Dude Pally vs. Shudderwock Shaman. Short version: load the board, volcano. Load the board, volcano. Load the board, lightning storm. Load the board, lightning storm. Load the board, saronite/saronite/random taunt total. Clear his shit out, Shudderwock. I just walked away. I don't have the 45 minutes to spare.
I am literally stuck at rank 1 due to stupid shit odd hunter decks, and seeing people complaining about cubelock just makes me laugh.

Well, i went from r1 4 stars to 0 stars like 3 times yesterday, since you cannot be as consistent as you need to be in clearing against aggro pally, and still have enough taunts and heals against hunter all the time. On top of that, there are infinite druids and several spiteful decks running around, so trying to balance around all of these is like squaring a circle, it does not really work. You can try (i did) but then you are at blizzards mercy for draws. Still better than being at their mercy for matchups i suppose.
Yeah, I do play cubelock but non-giant version and my matches are pretty versatile against aggresive decks, which mostly depends on my draw for survival and I like it, whereas against huntards whatever I do sometimes is not enough, they just keep refreshing their hero power and deal more and more damage, the only win condition is that you draw every single of your heal and guldan before he uses his Kill Command ..
I do understand your frustration with cubelock being a tier 1 deck but WHY DAFUQ anyone isn't mentioning that twat-broken baku hunter???! . The guy who invented it just needs to be castrated asap. Deck requires no brain usage whatsoever, just go fucking face....and this fucking deal 3 dmg bullshit rekts me all the time. Just herp derp me go face :F
But why when i face spitfull deck and they pull out a 10 cost spell.... why does it always have to be a 12/12.
I mean come on... on turn 5 or 6 a 12/12 this is just unfair and 90% of the time just insta win the match.
I understand this is a card game fully based on RNG. But this is just taking away what was left of skill requirement now it is just brain dead RNG. You either have a very good hand to kill the oponenet within 5 turn or you are the one dying turn 5-7.
This is just boring there is no strategie or game to play. People dont think when they play anymore they just drop a card on the board wait for a rig RNG to win the game or play high dmg low cost drop and control you until you die on turn 5
I get it wild is now too fast so you have to bring the expansion you release to the same level... but by doing so you are ruining the essence of your card game.
The gameplay is simply boring. Rng is a good thing in a card game. But when the RNG factor is winning more game than real combos than this is where it falls appart.
