You're not addicted to Hearthstone specifically.
You're addicted to the gambling mechanics that are used in this game (for very different reasons).
That's why it's so hard to stop.
That's why so many people get super defensive as soon as you criticize this game.
It's textbook addict behavior.

What do sites like VS Syndicate, HSReplay etc. actually do?
The don't show you what deck is the best.
They show you what deck has the best chance of winning.
It's the equivalent of card counting.
Probability calculation is by far the most valuable skill you can have in this game nowadays.
That alone should raise eyebrows but hey, it's just a "children's card game" right?

Hearthstone is a gambling simulator and people who are already addicted to it should never ever try real gambling because they'd get hooked INSTANTLY.
Same goes for Battlegrounds. Blizzard uses gambling mechanics in every game they can. Quality gameplay has no priority anymore. It used to be the most important factor to make money in this industry but those days are gone forever.

why the fuck does Illidari Inquisitor still attack even if it's frozen? for what fucking reason? entirely moronic game design.

They should nerf playhouse giant to 30-40 mana or lose its Mech tag, it is such a stupid card that rogue can play 3-4 copies of it.

Hands down worst expansion ever. I wish eac and every dev would be fired. There is no excuse for the shape of this game these days.

 Couldn’t agree more. Gone are the days where skilled gameplay actually matters. Between computer plug ins doing the game play for you and the game mechanics, it’s more RNG than anything. Precisely why I just get my card backs each month and don’t play again after that. Failed game doesn’t deserve my money.

Its amazing how shamans can do 30 face dmg with 0 mana

Feels like every class is playing a scam win deck and I hate these kind of decks with a passion. I don't wanna play the game until people stop playing most of these decks. 

The one I hate the most right now is Zilliax Rogue. You just fucking lose to this deck if you aren't a control DK and even then you have to draw all your asphyxiates and horseman. Warlock beats every single deck what else is new? Shaman chucking every burn spell under the sun out of the blue, Mage blowing up with perfect spell discovery and Sif, Warrior tendi and odyn spam, Hunter puking out full boards that kill you in one turn if you don't remove it for a single turn, Paladin is the same as Hunter except runs charge minions so a more toxic version of token hunter. Fucking priest is even doing a scam win deck.

The people that play Burn Shaman are the same kind of people that still cry over the death of the queen. Like how the fuck do people still want to play a deck after being nerfed into the ground? why do people STILL try and milk every single bit of damage they could possibly get like actual desperation? like for real it's like watching someone beat a dead horse. I find it hilarious that a single heal card beats this deck. Just fucking give it up already! 

For christ sake, it's been weeks since WW dropped and I still didn't complete the first event quest.
Fuck you, Joymancer Jepetto.
Didn't found a single living soul playing it.
I'm not buying the pass/crafting him only to complete a mission about a (imo) terrible card. 
All the other quests are just...play the game.
Only the first one is this specific.

This is also a SOS call. 
Please, if you had the bad luck of cracking one up, can we have a game where I destroy him and complete this shit?

brainless DH players! get a fcking grip! that deck is toxic as hell and needs to be nerfed to the ground!!!! hope u all will be covered in your own tears when it gets hit by the nerfhammer!!! 

Played a game as Burgle Rogue in Wild against a Hero Power Freeze Mage hybrid. Managed to get him incredibly low, but got stuck in a freeze lock for 4 turns. Finally played the Frost Lich Jaina in my hand, immedistely pinged his 8/1 Astalor...and then realized that playing a hero card (in hindsight obviously) unfreezes you, I hit face and was short 1 damage...which would have been the ping.

So incredibly tilted by that misplay.

can we just get rid of that stupid plague crap already! when there is ZERO way to counter it then it just becomes stupid.
