Five blood dks in a row. This game's playerbase is one of the greatest examples of how shallow, toxic, uninventive, spineless and ultimately depravated humanity can be. Fuck you all. For real.
Good god ! Just play relic dh so when you q up the mmr system won’t match you against a deck your deck is favored against unless there are no other decks in the q at the same time. You have to understand how to manipulate the system. I understand the hate with the time spent letting the world know but this shows you have the motivation to work the system in your favor and get those coveted ladder rewards for your efforts! Are you willing to learn? Send me a dm and let me guide you to legend.
Do you really think my issue is about not being able to reach legend and counter blood DK?!? Couldn't care less, buddy. I don't play this game to reach legend, for sure.
What would it bring me? A better pay at my job? The sudden massive interest of attractive young ladies? A large home with a garden and a swimming pool? A fast car as a present? Some golden and diamond trophy? Don't think so, right? Just as I suppose it doesn't bring anything like that to any of those prized legend players. Except for a few packs and an epic card (not even golden anymore).
My lashing was directed at a community that has become increasingly win-obsessed, to the point where it's the only possible enjoyment they can get out of it. Even if this requires playing tens or hundreds of games in a row with the same deck, the same cards, played over and over again in the same pattern. Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat. Like bots. A million possibilities, hundreds of cards at your disposal, and you stick to 15/17 of them for days, weeks, months. Yeah! Cause it's tier one, baby! It gives me wins. GIVE ME MY WINS!!! MY PRECIOUS WINS! It's so sad that this mindset has become so overwhelmingly prevalent. And it's even sadder that it seamlessly extends to casual play as well.
I know the usual comments: "Everyone's free to enjoy the game the way they want!". True. But I still strongly believe that such ultra-committed mindsets, fully driven by efficiency and success rate, applied to something that still ultimately belongs to the fun/leisure/relax realm are pretty toxic and concerning.

Ironically, the dude who reached you for private coaching in how to manipulate the system is probably part of the same ultra-committed mindset you find toxic for a community (not to mention potentially asking you for money to do so). I find your comment a breath of fresh air and only with I could upvote it twice. I honestly don’t even think reaching higher rank should provide more rewards in order to discourage the min-max crowd from refreshing HSReplay every 5 second in order to copy/paste the top deck so that they can maximise wins. Or the odd crowd staying up at night scrutinising statistical charts pasted to walls in hopes of finally discovering how everything is rigged and connected.
As for the usual replies, they’re more like: « If you’re not playing the top deck on HSReplay based on statistical evidence, it’s your fault for losing. Stop whining and play blood dk. »

There I was, facing another Big Priest, when suddenly he summoned a Ragnaros the Firelord, then I thought "oh, nice, someone is actually trying to have fun doing something different", but then, as soon as his deck started to thin out, he summoned a Neptulon the Tidehunter and completely reversed the state of the game. Some people just can't afford to NOT win in order to change decks even a little bit.

I love you Dreadsteed, I will never disenchant you!
Trying to reach the 500 wins portrait with warrior.
Since the game forces me to earn them in ladder I have to endure this vomit-enducing experience of squaring off over and over again versus 99% tier 1 decks. One of the saddest and most miserable experiences a brain-equipped human being can have.

You do win something for getting top 100 though: much longer queue times.
"Everyone is free to enjoy the game the way they want" but unless you're playing a tier 1, you're memeing. As a wild player, it saddens me even more to watch how the whole community except for a few individuals play the same decks. And by the same decks, I don't mean the same deck lists, I mean the same archetypes. You queue only into questline druid, kingsbane rogue or whatever is popular right now.
I feel you man, but sadly this is how it is. The community will never change.

I'm so sick of these Blood DK scumbags, as well as the Control Priest and Thief Priest. These people are pure scumlords. I always enjoy beating the crap out of them and make sure to BM them with emotes when they lose to me.
Absolute scumbags. Imagine wanting to play 40-minute games. You get in 2-3 games an hour, while everyone else playing aggro decks vs. other aggro decks is done in 2–5 minutes and gets in way more games.
I can't really blame them when Blizzard makes dumb long-game attrition cards like Renethal. Here, add 10 more cards to your deck to win via a 40-minute attrition game.
I ran into 9 DK's 2 Frost 1 Unholy 6 Blood yesterday before hitting legend.
Today while in legend it's just been Blood DK and Control Priest. So tired of these clowns. I just want some quick games. I don't have 10 years to move up 100-200 points.
What is going on with their EU servers? We have to deal with dc's constantly since years and they do nothing about it. The game is unplayable sometimes because you get disconnected every 5 minutes and that's not even exaggerated. I have never played a game which had such bad connection issues + so many bugs on top of that.
I don't care how small their team is. They need to finally fix their game. It got so much worse since i started playing in 2017. This doesn't feel like a final version of a game at all, more like an early access title.
Don't start fights in here. People are free to blow off steam in here, within reason. This is not the place to admonish others for their choices or desires.

Just how fuckin undervalued can the death knight's cards be???
How the hell a 2/2 weapon with a 2 face dmg on kill just cost 1 mana? How can a 3 dmg spell that summon a rush monster cost 2 mana? How can that bullshit play aggro, controle and midrange in the same meta? What next? Mill?
Fuck that shit man and half of my games are against it will HS got 10 godamn classes!
i feel like you could take any random DK spell, make it one mana more expensive and it would still be better than any removal card they ever printed for warrior.
same with priest and healing. best heals available in standard: flash heal (5), location (2x3). meanwhile average blood DK: gains 30 additional health, heal for 5+ every single turn.
why don't they remove the other classes all together, if DK and DH cards are way way stronger than other classes' cards by default?
Solid Alibi needs to cost 4 mana so that it doesn't get discovered by all their "Discover spell that costs (3) or less" cards. Like it's actually fucking ridiculous how often they get that card.
First it was Freeze Mage with constant board freezes, then flamewaker mage burning you down with burst out the wazoo, then open the waygate just being a game of solitare for them, and now all this discover bullshit that gets them solid alibi every turn or whatever perfect answers. Fuck. Mage. I would rather face all the aggro in the world than face a single fucking mage.

Be thankful that there is no Ice Block on standard right now.

I've returned to playing after 4 1/2 years. And sought out this thread I remembered so fondly to say please delete the Death Knight class. 85% of people are playing this broken class. Control decks that out-damage other classes' aggro decks and aggro decks that outheal other classes' control decks. The game would be much-improved if not for this ridiculous and obvious money grab.

Someone, one day, will need to explain me how on Earth did pure paladin dodge all the nerfs in the past year.
Being constantly at the top of the tier 1 decks isn't a clear enough indication something is wrong with it?

Can we have an option to blacklist classes for the day? If possible I'd like to never play against Mages and Priests ever again, thank you very much.

Mage's discover cards might as well read: Discover Solid Alibi, discover it again, and again, and again, and again every turn.....
