Just had the worst game of my life. Fucking druid that plays 3-4 copies of Moonlit Guidance, and get more copies of it in Planted Evidence. After that he played all three Astalor in a turn and getting 2 copies of Zola of the Moonlit Guidance to get two more copies of Astalor.
I love how even Aggro Priest uses cards that copies cards from your hand and deck to make up for their stupid shit. You can't both be a priest player and not be annoying.
I JUST FOUGHT A STUPID FUCKING DRAGON PALADIN. OMG THE AMOUNT OF DISCOVER CARDS WAS UNBEARABLE.
LET'S GIVE EVERY AGGRO DECK A LATEGAME OPTION AND A BUNCH OF ENDLESS RESOURCES.
Even sniping his Kazakusan after he played Order in the Court was not good enough because Discover shenanigans that not even a Triple Blood DK can handle.
I used to love playing Paladin but Lightforged Cariel is just stupid good.
Makes lategame much easier to survive while giving an incredible buff to your minions in hand.

Can't wait until the Hero Cards rotate. I hope they stop printing Hero Cards and Quests from now on tbh. These cards are always either unplayable or way too strong and it's apparently impossible to balance them.
Even sniping his Kazakusan after he played Order in the Court was not good enough because Discover shenanigans that not even a Triple Blood DK can handle.
I also struggle very hard to make Triple Blood DK work. Aggro Mage has to be my most hated matchup right now. Imp-Curselock is also really annoying. It just sucks when your preferred archetype is not allowed to do what it's supposed to do.
I want to play Triple Blood Death Knight but this standard meta is so irritating.
I am upset by the fact that I was beaten by some idiot who just picked up the typical Sinful Brand Demon Hunter deck. It was pretty much someone that just netdecked because they played the Silvermoon Arcanist from their Bound Soul. I am not kidding, he spent almost his entire turn trying to target my face with a spell. Yes, I was beaten by someone who could not even bother to read the card text and played so poorly. I'm not even mentioning the fact that he played the Relic of Dimensions without first activating his Relic Vault that he played 2 turns earlier. He lost so much tempo through misplays then got it back again because of Silvermoon Arcanist and Unleash Fel.
I could just play Unholy Even DK in Wild, but that gets so boring after a while. I hope the Mini-Set brings DK something good and fun.

Well Druid is still fun to play against. I just played a match wjere the Druid had 6 mana available by the time I had 6 mana available. Doesn't sound bad at first, unfortunately for me, by that time he had already played a discovered alignment. Good times.
Doesn't matter how many nerfs, patches, or expansions happen. Druid is still constantly at the top of the bullshit list in Standard. I would say I can't wait for so many of their cards to rotate out but we all know there will be fresh cards printed that are just as broken. Can't they be bad for just one season ffs?
Edit to clarify: Insane mana, armor, and the ability to flood their board clear after clear.
It doesn't matter what you play. You absolutely will be faced with a hard counter deck until you have lost enough times in a row, or paid Blizzard cash.
This game is 100% manipulated and rng is cranked up 1000.
Yes, I was beaten by someone who could not even bother to read the card text and played so poorly.
Yeah i had similar experiences with Evolve Shamans in the last few days. I'm not saying that these decks don't require any skill when facing other top tier decks. But if you play a top tier deck against lower tier decks then you can make a lot of misplays and still easily win because the power level discrepancy between these decks is just way too big. I made so many mistakes with Maestra Rogue before the nerf but whenever i faced a lower tier deck (even most tier 2 decks) it didn't matter at all because the deck was simply too op to fail.
I hope the Mini-Set brings DK something good and fun.
I really hope that each upcoming expansion and miniset will include cards for all three runes but some people already said that they'll probably just support one rune per expansion/miniset. I don't know if that's coming from an official source but it would really suck to have to wait for so long just to get a few new cards for your favorite type of DK. Blood DK is by far my favorite deck right now even though it has a bad winrate.
I really hope the mini set fills the deathknight discover pool with niche shit cards to make their discover pool something less than - I think I will pick my next card....
Can we just stop reprinting so many Discover cards in general?
It's not even a Death Knight issue. Priest can discover my own cards in my deck. Mage and Rogue can discover random BS and make them cheaper. Paladin is just playing a circle-jerk of Amalgam of the Deep and Bronze Explorer or just using The Countess. Druid is just "let me discover my win condition and make multiple copies" with Moonlit Guidance and tutoring cards.
Playing control is to manage your resources to outlast your opponent's stuff but what's the point in that if they can just generate more cards to throw at you. I'm not saying that aggressive decks are bad, in fact they're needed to keep the game diverse. However, I really despise decks that use mana cheat to end games quick. It's not fun to fight against that since it's really hard to "outplay" it. So the game turns into whoever can cheat the most BS out and kill the opponent with said BS.
I really hope the mini set fills the deathknight discover pool with niche shit cards to make their discover pool something less than - I think I will pick my next card....
I can't speak for Unholy or Frost DK but Blood heavily relies on the consistency of their discover pool.
It was the same story with Barrens Priest back then. Discover cards were the only way to generate enough removal/healing to survive against aggro/tempo.
People call control players greedy because they include so many value generators in their decks but the truth is that they wouldn't need the additional removal/healing if aggro/tempo couldn't generate so many threats. The only difference is that they get most of their additional value directly from their cards and don't have to discover as much. Mischievous Imp is a perfect example for that.
I'm a masochist. I keep trying to play Blood DK but I'm practically giving people free wins.
The reason why Blood DK games last so long (if we fight slower decks) is because we lack FINISHERS to make games end faster. Trust me, I want the game to end as much as you do but I can only kill you through Alexandros Mograine which is just extremely slow chip damage. Blood DKs also rely on Astalor Bloodsworn as a finisher but other classes can use him more efficiently like Druid who can also make multiple copies of it. The same can be said for Sire Denathrius. The other way that I can think of is to use Patchwerk to snipe your win condition to make you feel compelled to concede.
See how limited our options are? We either have to slowly chip you down, use the same neutral win condition legendary as everyone else, or make you concede via disruption.
It's even worse when we fight people that can mana cheat their way to victory. Notice how they had to buff Obliterate since some decks (Miracle Rogue or Evolve Shaman) could summon a giant minion early and taking 12 damage to the face to remove a minion was not worth it at all? I just fought a Mage who literally kept replaying Rune of the Archmage for cheap.
Are players used to this level of relatively cheap and consistent "random effects" practically winning games?
Anyway rant over, I've been on a bad losing streak as Blood DK. It's basically either they kill me in under five turns or they actually have a win condition ready to kill me when we both last longer than 10 turns.

Prince Renathal seems like what you want - now to be honest I'm not sure how viable it is in Standard, but if you face a lot of slow decks, which it seems like you are, it got to be. Allows you to add Lor'themar Theron as a wincon, and be pretty safe in that department. Also, make sure you keep Brann Bronzebeard (unless you're using Brann with Lor'themar Theron) until you can use it with Astalor Bloodsworn (the first copy), when playing against slow decks. That way, for 10 mana, you can end up generating 3 final copies of it.
Losing to Sire Denathrius makes me not want to play this game anymore. The Sire Denathrius nerf makes me want to play this game again. Losing to Deathrattle Rogue makes me not want to play this game anymore. The Prince Renathal nerf makes me not want to play this game anymore.
By the time I can use Lor'themar Theron, I'm usually almost dead or the opponent still can generate removal through their casino magic.
You're right that I've been fighting slow decks but the problem is that I'm slower than them. Basically they have some form of tutor/draw and a way to "cheat mana". They can either develop a huge board (Evolve Shaman), kill me with burn (Demon Hunter), or PLAY THE SAME GODDAMN HIGH-VALUE STUFF FOR PRACTICALLY FREE (Mage and Rogue). Druid is all of the above if you consider Astalor Bloodsworn and Sire Denathrius as "burn" when they have 12+ mana.
Blood DK is reactive just like Control Warrior except it's quite lackluster in being able to finish the opponent off. You're giving the opponent a lot of time to kill you which is how I die a lot.
This is the list i'm currently playing around with: AAECAfHhBAjI7wOY1ATX+QOX7wSP7QSE9gSJ5gTHsgQQlOQEieQEh/YEssEE9+gDopkFyfkDlugDlrcEs/cE/eMEtvoEleQEq4AFh7cEl6QFAA==
This list mainly targets aggro and tempo decks but it can even beat midrange decks (Beast Hunter e.g.) sometimes. Evolve Shaman can get tricky if they hit a perfect curve but if not, you have a decent chance of beating them. Corpse Explosion works really well in this deck. Archdruid Naralex can give you Nightmare which you can use to buff your Gnome Muncher . This combo is absolutely disgusting in aggro matchups because most opponents fail to realize that not attacking it on their turn is the right play. Flightmaster Dungar also does a great job in aggro matchups. The high amount of card draw means that you'll lose the fatigue game against slower "greedier" Blood DK's but most of my matchups are fast decks anyway so it doesn't really matter to me.
Maybe you could use this list as a base and make some tweaks to it. I'm sure there's still room for improvement.
Just got annihilated by a 48/40 Smite. I'm pretty sure this Shaman Lor'themar Theron combo is anything but consistent. Props to my opponent for pulling it off. I just hate Brilliant Macaw and all the battlecry shenanigans it allows with a burning passion.
