Bag of salt #1: Hunter mirrors is the biggest shitshow in this game: whoever has spellstone before turn 5 wins. That skill! I lost every hunter mirror on my NA account because whenever I'm in a mirror match, I simply don't see my spellstone. Also lost to dummies who trigger traps after playing a minion lol Competitive game my ass. I'm fine with top decks, because there is nothing wrong with drawing a card which you put in your deck. But rewarding drawing cards in the 'right' order (spellstone mechanics) is bullshit!
Bag of salt #2: I need 12 WW legendaries to finish my collection, and only 4 of them I classified as completely unplayable, so there was 75% to get a decent one from packs. And finally, yesterday I found a card with this golden glow. 'Which one is it?', I wondered. 'Maybe Glinda for a cool warlock meme deck? Mmmm.... Oh no no no, it must be Countess Ashmore for my ultimate paladin deck. Or... Tess? Always wanted to try burgle Rogue.' TL;DR: turned out it's Blackhowl Gunspire , fml.

I pitytrack all my packs, and this run of shitty luck in match ups has started to infect my packs too.
Mage deck drawn at 73.9 ranking so i'm thinking I should at least win the first game or two. Nope Thief Priest who by turn 6 has actually played more of my class cards than their own. 0-1.
Mage huh! Mirozundobollocksoo or whatever that dragon is just about tears me a new one, on one turn the 15 seconds managed to get to over 30, what is the fuckin point having text on the card if the game doesnt obey it? (I'm looking at you Shaggerwank). And then just to pour on more salt he board clears with a blizzard just in case he misses my face. Wanker. 0-2.
Master of Realities is straight up busted. It should at least be a legendary or something. It just wins games if you can't kill it the turn it is played. I've lost to it many times, and I drafted a deck with two of them and am at 7-0 right now.
I fucking hate pyroblast in arena. You can dominate the whole game and just fucking lose while your bitch opponent emotes "well played" over and over before shooting you in the face. Well played my ass, go fuck yourself.
No point in playing against Mage in Arena until these "new" cards are gone, or unless you are also a Mage. They get cards you can't play around because they get anything from Cavern Dreamer, and you are out of luck.
this meta is simply more proof that perfect play cannot beat good draws. what a world. how do i improve my draws when im already drawing faster than every opponent ever?
this is why i will never be allowed to hit rank 5 ever again.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Remember everyone, hearthstone is a “competitive” game where skill is optional. No need to deck track or hit the lethal you missed 3 times when you can just discover the cards that I PLAYED and smack me down for it. I admit that it was my fault for trying to play well.
IS EVERYONE PLAYING FREAKING HUNTER NOWDAYS? can't play more than 1 game without incurring in one hunter, same tier 1 ultra cheap 3k dust decks. And of course they win.
or ODD PALA. LEVEL F*****G 20. TWENTY! Down below with the suckers like me. WTF????? f*****g game.
i dont think this belongs here because is not a salty post, its just a real post. its just a bit of cold hard honesty about hearthstone right now, but i do not believe anymore that its possible to rank up based on how well you play. good luck beats perfect play 100% of the time, and there is no counter.

This is beginning to feel accurate to me as well. No matter what, luck beats skill, every, single, time. I’m not even salty, more disappointed. I still enjoy the game, but I would even more so if they made the game a little less noob friendly and catered to veterans SOMEWHAT.
And I am so sick of people defending this shit with “all card games have a huge luck factor”. While I agree that luck is a part, it should not be 80+%. And please, no “the pros always make it on top” arguement. I’m a firm believer if anyone puts in 1000+ games a season, they would likely hit legend as well. Just mindlessly copy someone else’s deck, play somewhat competently, and poof, there’s your legend card back (which is not that cool tbh).
It's so pathetic how lucky those with gold heroes are in arena. Always have amazing pulls and get the luckiest game-saving top decks, just one example:
I was a 7 life, I had knocked him to 2 life and had 2 of the 4/5 taunts (that heal you 5 when they die) on the field vs his nothing. He has no cards in hand. He draws the 2 cost spell that discovers a spell which costs 2 less...of course, he gets a pyroblast.
This kind of crap is not a rare occurrence either, sadly they're pretty shameless about it.

I will be happy with a disconnect win in game 3.
Druid, 1-2. Warlock 2-2. Rogue 3-2.

Priest has become an annoying, sh*t Class and I hate it.

Finally get mage in this stupid arena version. ONLY see mage, priest and warlocks. No minion classes.
Thanks Blizzard.
HUNTER DECKS ARE RETARDED. NO SKILL REQUIRED.
Playing against big spell mage makes me want to actually kill myself. Board clear after board clear. Bunch of bullshit

Shitty pack, again, golden or not... One legendary in 58 packs so far, and this goes on...
