Hearthpwn

Lost a game due to what appears to be an error - opponent on 1 health + 3 armour, has a 2/2 and a 1/1 in play. I have Lady S'theno in play and cast Fel Barrage.

I expect - either the opponent dies, or the 1/1 dies and they take two, then Lady S'theno finishes them off.

What happens - the 1/1 dies, opponent takes two, S'theno kills the 2/2.

Sooooooooo if Fel Barrage sees my opponent as being the lowest health enemy, why does S'theno not? Frustrating.

Loving the balance patch so far. Loving the fact they buffed useless DK cards that saw no play without adressing how toxic the class in general is in arena, nor helping in any way to stop the top dogs of the meta, while also nerfing Renathal so Implock can return to the game.

Loving how it is almost the end of the year, I am sitting at bronze 3 playing meme decks, and all I find is top meta decks.

This game's fandom is truly one of the fandoms of all time.

I LOVE MANA CHEATING!

It makes me happy to see my Priest opponent play a Sister Svalna then proceeding to resurrect a bunch of Radiant Elementals to have a free and permanent Vision of Darkness. I just love having my board removed every turn, healing from it, and constantly resurrecting their elementals to play Miracle Priest while emoting. Like wow, it's turn 8 and you haven't spent any Mana at all for the entire turn while wrecking me. 

It baffles me how the Hearthstone card designers look at cards and somehow forget that it could have some serious issues. Like look at how they had to ban the patron cards because of their interaction with Corpse Explosion. LIKE WOW, IT'S ALMOST AS IF THEY HAD THE SAME ISSUE WITH DEFILE, A CARD LITERALLY MADE FIVE YEARS AGO. Do these designers really think that players enjoy watching their opponents cheat out cards like 2 turns earlier or the fact that some even become some sort of APM wizard or Solitaire master in some cases.

I'm honestly going to just afk farm xp in Mercenaries until the Mini-Set comes out. Ranked feels like Wild five years ago and it just sucks.

I'm not salty. I'm just fucking sick of the way the Devs have ruined this game.  OTK's galore, mana cheat, stupid high-roll decks.

It's like a 2 player solitaire now.  All the decent decks basically ignore the opponent and do their thing.  Face is definitely the place now especially for druid pew pew pew pew decks.

Why is Bran still here?  He was fun back in the day, but he's absolutely obnoxious now.

Don't get me started on the new class "Discover Knight".  They have such a small pool of cards discover is bascially - "pick which spell you need bypassing the apparent power restrictions we made for your class"...

Also - freeze, freeze, freeze, freeze....

I'll finish with a Hearthstone fact that not many people know.

Warrior and Shaman are also present in this game.  There's an easter egg when you play a Rogue which sometimes foreshadow thier existence, but we've yet to see them for real...

Damn so many people assumed that the Renathal nerf would bring aggro back on the menu but it's actually just burn decks which i face right now.
Control priest was viable until people discovered that you can just burn them down and now everyone and their grandmother plays burn decks.
I crafted two legendaries and one epic to play a cool control deck after the nerfs and now it's already not viable anymore which really sucks ngl.
I mean it's cool that mage sees play again but it's just the same uninteractive bs we've already seen a million times in the past.
Frost DK is also annoying af if your opponent knows how to pilot the deck.

Secret Mage is the worst deck ever created. (talking about wild)

They play any secret and you can legit just hope that you dont get your spell or minion countered. You play around every Secret perfectly and next turn they just play another secret and now you can play around every single secret again. I know its not the best deck in wild, but its the worst deck too play against.

Just put a neutral Secret in the game that says "50% chance to trigger when your opponent plays a card and counter it" make it 1 mana and let me put 10 copies in my deck, because fuck my opponent and fun in general

Was one game from reaching diamond 10, but the freaking game keeps matching me against these broken decks and rngsuses - I miss having 40 health. The game was a bit better when you could survive the broken s++t.

I need a break from this headace that is the aggro/burst your face down.

Just wanted to say the devs are very dumb and also lazy.

My last opponent played 3 Patchwerks and one of them was even in combination with Brann, so 4 Patchwerks technically.
Wow! What a fun experience that was!
I thought control vs control was about resource management but turns out it's even better to just take away all those resources from your opponent.
This game is such a shit show nowadays...

I honestly think locations were a mistake or needs to be looked at again. You are basically playing a card that can be used for an immediate effect; can be saved for future use and be used multiple times; cannot be countered effectively unless you tech in that weird location destroying card. Decks like Implock just abuse this stupid location to have early pressure and Demon Hunters can use their relic to mana cheat and draw multiple cards.

In this specific scenario, I did everything I could to destroy their biggest imp to prevent them from just having lethal on board. Then they play another Vile Library and kill me right there by buffing another one of their minions. I swear that my biggest mistake is thinking that I'm still playing 2016 Hearthstone but now it seems that the only effective decks are ones that don't interact with your opponent just by early pressure and burning their faces and just stalling until they have their combo. I JUST WANTED TO HAVE FUN AND DO MY DAILIES. 

I spent over $100 on the new expansion only to get a small collection of the worst legendary cards. I can't even play half the decks I want to without spending more.

The final straw: I reached level 50 on the reward track only to receive the useless Hunter legendary bow. The card I least wanted. Why bother printing a legendary that feels bad to receive? Ebenezer Scrooge came early this year!

In a fit of irrational rage, I instantly disenchanted it and uninstalled the game - I'll find other games to play that don't provide an infuriating experience for my hard earned money.

Btw, one comment as man who loves to burgle stuff and play random cards... can ANYBODY besides death knight have a corpse ressource too? I mean, sure, you can argue lorewise other classes wont use corpses. To wich I argue "mana is something many classes won't use, and armor too". Why is it that if I get a random DK card, its most powerful effects are completely hidden from me since I can't stack corpses no matter how much I fulfill the technical requirements?

I know they wont ever work on that, just saying it because somehow this expansion is the most broken even on ways that dont imply poor balance.

And fanboys were out there saying Arthas would save the game.

Did someone else face this new hyper aggro deathrattle warlock deck?
I run 2x Smothering Starfish and 2x Coroner in my Blood DK deck and i couldn't deal with this deck at all.
They run Burning Blade Acolyte , Nerubian Egg and Foul Egg which all have great synergy with Desecrated Graveyard and Shallow Grave.
And to close out games they use Tamsin's Phylactery with Burning Blade Acolyte deathrattle.
It's just endless pressure.
Super annoying deck.

The devs need to realize that they have paying customers who deserve the most balanced experience possible and stop pretending like they didn't fuck up by bringing Brann back into the core set.
Whoever is in charge of Team5 right now should be replaced (not fired) by someone who has much more experience with card game design under his belt.
It's clear by now that this dev team lacks someone who has the knowledge to clean up the mess they caused in the past few years.
And no, i don't blame these young inexperienced devs for that.
I blame the higher ups who were too greedy to hire someone who can actually handle the responsibilities of running a game like this.

800 wins with Demon Hunter now, at the cost of having to lose like four in a row between every win.

"I draw four cards, they're discounted by a total of fourteen mana! Then I make two 5/5 and two 6/6 phantasms! Your turn."

Clearly need to play something else when the stone-cold nuts isn't good enough.
