They just pulled this on me when they were going to lose next turn realy ?
So... Your god-tier solitaire deck got f**ked by a meme deck... I sincerely hope you were not looking for some empathy... Things like these should happen every. single. game. Until all braindead copypasting idiots uninstall the game.
Yep.same BS manacheating, Rng- contolled, discovered by, controlled bullshit of a "strategy" card game. Yeah, only if "strategy" = how much can I pay Blizzard $$$ for a 50% win rate regardless of deck.
Wow. Cannot believe what just happened. Had a Warlock down to 2 health. They proceed to hit hero power and health goes to 0. But instead of dying, it also finished that leg of the quest, so they get 3 health back and proceeds to play Soul Rend to wipe out my board and goes on to win. Am I wrong in thinking 0 health should be dead?
Hearthstone is a bit weird like this. In other games (Magic etc), the game would see the hero at zero health and say "game over" but Hearthstone won't check until the triggers are finished. Flesh Giant works like this too - if you tap, lose 2 health and finish the quest part, gaining 3 life, Flesh Giant only sees that as one total event of health changing.
Wait, is that right? I thought it counted as two changes. I was under the impression that was part of the reason why quest lock was running flesh giants and dropping them on the board early (and hence the nerfs)
I could be wrong, I haven't actually played this deck or seen the interaction. Just thought it worked that way.
I haven't played since day 2 of the expansion because the meta looked like shit.
Decided to finally give it a try after 2 rounds of nerfs and I keep getting triggered by this card...it should AT LEAST cost 1 mana.
Hell they should stop printing shit that cost 0 or make things cost 0....
This is what HS needs to grow to. They always do the "deal X damage to your hero" as a DAMAGE. It should actually be cost. So Raise Dead would be 0 mana with 3 health cost on it. So it can't be transfered to other players. Same with Fatigue, it shouldn't be DAMAGE it should be LOSE LIFE.
Basically I wish HS would start differentiate between DAMAGE and LOSES LIFE.

"Minion to minion the basic of all combats, only a fool trusts his win to an OTK"
NOONE CAN FUCKING TELL ME THIS GAME ISNT RIGGED I ALWAYS LIKED HITTING LEGEND IN 2 FORMATS AT THE SAME TIME, SO I BUILDED META DECKS FOR WILD - SHADOW PRIEST AND PIRATE WARRIOR, AND I GOT FUCKED BY QUEST WARLOCKS AGAIN AND AGAIN, OVER 50% OF THEM FOR FUCKING SAKE SO HEY, I SWITCHED TO CELESTIAL DRUID TO COUNTER THEM, IN 15 MATCHES ONLY 2 WARLOCKS AND FUCKING 5 MIRROR MATCHES, BEFORE CREATING THIS DECK I ACTUALLY FORGOT THAT DRUID IS PLAYABLE CLASS IN WILD
Ugh, I hate how they do Battlegrounds (and seemingly a lot of Hearthstone) these days. Release content that has overpowered aspects, let people get frustrated when they lose to said overpowered aspects, then eventually nerf them. Some stupidly, obviously OP cards in this latest update. How anyone could have thought Impatient Doomsayer was balanced is beyond me.
Edit: and damn, fuck tribal heroes. Awesome when the stars align; terrible otherwise. I finally had my first Patches game in a while - and I love Patches... except when you get no natural pirates in the first ~5 turns, and play all the top opponents. Finally start to get some semblance of a build together, and finally play a lower play, only for that player to have spiked on the previous turn (playing pirates and tripling into Eliza). Yeah, not a fun match that one.
If you already have all of the combo on your hand, then why wait until I lower your health to 1 and then play a second Ice Block to do it? Why drag the game when you obviously have enough cards to even overkill your opponent? Scum.

I love you Dreadsteed, I will never disenchant you!
Dayum, they really pushed midrange this battlegrounds patch. The number of people going hard into tier 3/4 builds that likely won't win lategame (unless everyone going for a lategame build has such a pattern of opponents that they die before stabilising) is ridiculous.
It's partially my fault for going for builds that can actually win the match rather than settling for top 4, but I've never understood why people who aren't actually viably going to push for the top of ranked (and the e-peen that might come with being at the top of Battlegrounds MMR, if that exists) would be so gung-ho on doing builds to increase MMR instead of builds to win the game.
Edit: it still also bugs me when people stay on tier 1 when they shouldn't. It's arguably also very likely that there are outright wrong times to stay on tier 2 instead of levelling at 7, but there are so few decision points between turn 1 and 2 that for many heroes, it's correct in 99.99% of cases to level on turn 2. Of course, that's not all of them - some have curves or flow that benefits staying on tier 1 for an extra turn or two, but for most it's minion turn 1, level turn 2, and anything else is wrong.
Edit 2: following on from that, in this game I just had a Curator stay on tier 1 for turn 2, and a Ysera stay on tier 1 for turn 3. God people are bad at this mode sometimes.
I like the idea of quest. However it broke the fundamental of the game - developing a board and win. Having minions on board vs mage or lock not only it doesnt benefit you, becouse they pewpew every minion down like with a minigun, but it actually punishes you. You get a minion down, boom, quest completed!!!!
Seriously sick of Elemental Shaman always curving out perfectly every single stinkin' game. Wailing into Custodian into Stormer/Hammer into Granite into Lilly-pad into Fire Elemental! Then toss in a couple burn spells and bang, game over by 7.
And then there's QUEST Shaman! Which honestly wouldn't be quite so terrible if Perpetual Flame didn't start out in my opponent's hand EVERY GAME alongside the quest. Seriously, I think they've coded that into the game. So any board presence I accumulate leading up to turn 4 gets wiped out by ONE one-mana card. And of course they overload for 4 or 5, but NOPE! Quest checkpoint kicks in and unlocks their crystals! EVERY. TIME.

Absolutely not possible. Everything is 100% random in the game. You probably just played the luckiest few elemental shamen that happened to draw perfectly on curve.

Questlock in CASUAL mode... just wow.
Played a few games to see how things feel.

Exited app and unistalled again.
He's wrong, both actions count towards Flesh Giant. You can see it here: https://youtu.be/zWQaTMZTcN0?t=127
A big screw you to Blizzard for pairing me with the only player running Kobald Stickyfingers in casual as I was trying to finish a Rogue daily.
Grammar is the difference between knowing your crap, and knowing you’re crap.

Thanks to whoever it was on reddit for showing off the C'thun bug with Hunter.
Now there's another fucking lame ass deck to deal with in Wild.
NOONE CAN FUCKING TELL ME THIS GAME ISNT RIGGED

So, so, so, sick of Devolving Missiles stealing games. Whether it's randomly generated or not.
It is the most obnoxious card, and has *no* business being 1 mana.

Tried making the #1 deck in the game according to Hearthstone Top Decks.
Turns out that if you aren't a "pro streamer" it is a 50% win rate deck. Just like every other one.
Go figure.

fuck this game seriously
If Blizzard was responsible for the World Series of Poker:
Oh my! Another Royal Flush on the river! That makes 476 hands in a row! What are the chances?
I too want to know how long dis can go on.
Let's be best friends.
