The same could be said for control players losing to combo when Blizzard has gone out of their way to include multiple choices for combo busting. When I was mainlining Mechathun Warlock I would be amazed at just how little combo busters control players were running. And especially since Blizzard has pretty much made it a point to try and make sure any decent combo OTK doesn't go off before turn 8. The control decks that ran Rats, Mutanus, etc.. usually got a GG from me for not dismissing combo out of hand. So yeah, I find it weird that everyone is normal getting Smorc'd by turn 5 aggro, but lose their mind when a turn 9 Mechathun triggers.
I was just salty by getting smacked in the face by a doom hammer for 16+ points. Which is the point of this thread. To be salty and whine about losing in a manner that could have been prevented.
Combo>Control>Aggro>Combo
But lately it seems people don't want combo no mo.
People just don't like being forced to run cards specifically to disrupt 1 particular deck. Especially when those cards are epic/legendary so it's tough for f2p players to actually get their hands on them. And I mentioned, there really aren't any cards that effectively disrupt these questline "combos".
There have also been some fine combo decks. I used to play Mecha'thun priest as well and I kinda wish that the new c'thun will get a chance to shine Ticketus came frome the same expansion though, so I know that's a pipe dream. There is a reason I added that "especially before turn 10". It's specifically the combo decks that also have the tools to deal with aggro without much issue or can pull off their combo before aggro actually wins that get frustrating. Old quest mage is another good example, although rat did also exist alongside it.

And no fears. I'm not trying to call you out. Just trying to explain why more people are complaining about the questlines than the crazy aggro decks. I totally agree, shaman has been getting way too much free damage out of doomhammer these last two expansions.
The best part about knowing what we can't talk about here is that you can tank the games when it is clear that it isn't your turn. Once you hit platinum 5 just throw a few games until you start winning. Ride that wave to Diamond 10 then repeat.
Be me and play arena. Actually get a decent hero and cards. First loss rng created cards from my opp. Loss two rng created cards by my opp. Loss three rng created cards from my opp. Oh yeah arena is just like every other mode. How the fuck do you play around these given top decks and board clears? Even my wins were my opp barely not top deck good enough against my established boards. What are you suppose to intentionally play from behind? How fucking stupid. I can never ever be ahead in any fucking mode and not get fucked by rng or barely win because of there bs rng. This is just not a serious game. You suck bli$$ards dick and get free wins and great rng. Or you don’t and get fucked. Why do people think this is ok let alone fun. Fuck the game where you play good you win and play bad you lose. No no no in hearthstone it’s the complete opposite!
Can't believe in lost in arena because someone had Lady Prestor, into double brightwing, both brightwings gave them Silas Darkmoon. So both randomly could get my 8/8s.
I'm a f2p player that doesn't own any questlines, dafuq am I supposed to do with this? Can't even reroll it because I rerolled into it from "win 5 games in ranked".
Am I the only one that think Rogues (and Druids) are super obnoxious? Like, I get it, you have to play 3-4 cards in one turn to actually do anything but could you not be a dickhead about it? In my 6-7 years on and off with the game they've always been the ones to BM the most. Rogues just seem to love wasting my time. I just played one and WON but am still salty because they took forever with their turns hahahah
Man, these historic locks playing questline is so annoying. Just had 2 back to back. The thing is that the deck is too easy to build - even bad players can do it (see example 2). Requires virtually no thought beyond "let me see what self-damage cards I have in my collection".
First one actually had a seemingly good deck - though what's annoying in that case is how much their particular deck hinged on drawing Darkglare to get a really stupid turn 4.
Second one was actually a pretty bad version IMO - but it turns out if you just include enough self damage cards (easy to do in wild) and use them with reckless abandon (ie. Spirit Bomb on a 1/1), getting out a super early Flesh Giant is just too strong against many decks.
Well, since they have a mini set coming out. My collection is effectively held hostage if I want to keep my completed collection achievement. Because any cards you dust now will be counted as uncollected when the mini set drops. So I have to hold all the crappy cards.

Fuck you Mozaki mage with Ice block, nothing you can do they just blast you with 40 dmg from hand.
Yeah, time to play Classic!!! And face 45% Combo Druids, 45% Miracle Rogue and 10% everything else. At least it's not 90% quest warlock
Great art can never be created without great suffering.
If you don't know after 3 turns if you are going to win the game you simply aren't paying attention.
Honest question - does anyone really feel that this is a skill game?
Follow up question: of those that do - how many of you would bet real money playing online blackjack?
I'm not saying that the outcomes of the games are scripted but two of my games are already contenders for best screenplay.

Can they literally stop stacking Shaman with broken ass cards? It's freaking endless.

Cant recall anything more disgusting than this meta.
The questline design is basically flawed. Some classes are playing cards with an empty board.

To that paladin who went first and played a secret on turn 1. Fuck you. :)
You know damn well people are playing quests, so we can't afford to just play quest into oh my yogg.
So I coined first. It's not oh my yogg.
Then next turn you played the sword and pulled oh my yogg. I knew it. You knew it.... of course it has to be.
I went like 5 full turns not playing my quest and for some reason I wasn't able to draw any number of other cheap spells I have...
Well played, but fuck you, also :)
I didn’t realize quests were spells.
Why didn’t you play the quest after the coin?
What makes me salty today?

A .gif is worth a thousand words.
In hindsight, I definitely should have, but I had a two drop so at that point I didn't want to be mana inefficient.
I figured I would be able to play it next turn. Absolutely misplay on my part, really. Hence the "fuck you" followed by smiley facess in my post.
I'm salty but not that salty about it.
I am so actually fucking sick of mages and shaman stealing wins from my tempo decks with devolving missiles.
It should be at least 2 mana. At least.
