I swear Tickatus has completely ruined Control Vs Control. In a match up where every card matters and fatigue plays a crucial part in winning or losing, the fact that there's a card that can burn your deck with zero counterplay (at least in Standard) is insane. My opponent was able to play 4 copies of Tickatus due to Felosophy and Y'Shaarj, the Defiler for a grand total of 20 burned cards. I understand ControlLock isnt meta and neither is Tickatus but the fact that one card can shutdown and entire archetype is ridiculous.

it doesnt matter you increase from 4 to 5 mana for that fuck thing that insta refills your mana. just dumb. probably you think you did a good job playing when you win with that fuck. i have never seen a more ridicullous deck that gives you virtually strength in the early game and c thun ing at the end so fucked up so stupid and they try to fix it. I can understand what you are saying, but control warlock is not meta right now and Tickatus is only relevant in control match ups. That's why it's not op but probably toxic, as well as Illucia can be a toxic card. Also you have tools to try to beat him:

1. The 4 mana pirate 5/5 can get you Tickatus or Jaraxxus. If you are unlucky, you are forcing your opponent to draw 2 cards if you play her twice, accelerating their fatigue. And you can get more copies with the 0 mana spell, deal 3 damage to yourself to get 2 friendly minions that died in your hand. Warlock use to have +9 cards in hand specially at early/midgame against priest, you can also mill some cards with her.

2. Zul'jin can throw Tickatus or Y'shaarj from their hand, specially if they played de 5 mana 3/3 taunt divine shield, making sure it's on their hand. This is not hard because most of warlock cards are spells.

I can understand is a hard match up to face, but that's how the game works. It's like being no minion mage against hunter aggro. You have no healing so possibly they will crush you. Primordial druid or celestial use to destroy warlock. Each deck has good and bad match ups and that's something will never change, if you are only facing warlocks, change your deck.

 I play control warlock a lot. It's like every other deck. I either win with mindless cards on curve, corrupting Tickatus on 6 or 7 and having Y'shaarj in hand on 10, or every card is buried and I get slaughtered. There is no in between. Most games I lose I will have half or more of my deck as soul fragments and I will draw all around them. 

I honestly feel that Blizzard should spend more time fine tuning the AI. ZTG pulled back the curtain and showed us how the game reads the board and chooses the best cards. What they need to do now is make it less obvious that every aspect of the game is predetermined. Every game doesn't have to be a one sided beat down. Make players think they have a chance to the end and they will keep playing. Make them win 5 one sided games then get destroyed 5 games in a row and they will find something better to do.

Playing against a Spell Mage which has already played Deck of Lunacy. I have the board and play Ogremancer to shut him down. He mindlessly draws cards and of course among the first couple are Rancor and Torrent to kill my board and gain tons of armor in the process. Just pure skill.

Well I am quitting this pile of trash until next buff/nerf, this is ridiculous how priest is trash.. it's all face damage while you cannot do anything to prevent that shit from happening.

Healing is worthless vs mage and dh, how amazing the game direction is going!

Pretty neat xpact, no one playing the news cards. It's a omehga fail from blizzard part and I think it's the first one they fail that hard.

When was the last time you played a mage that didn't have Primordial Studies or Font of Power in their opening hand?

How about a priest that didn't have Palm Reading on turn 3? 

Here's a fun exercise. Take a deck of 30 cards. Take one card out and add two jokers. Shuffle them well and deal yourself the top 2 cards. See how many times the jokers are the top 2 cards. Now ask me how many times when I play control warlock and open with Spirit Jailer I draw the 2 soul fragments that I just shuffled in the deck on round 2.

 That's because this game is so far away from naturally occurring randomness that it's a joke - and anyone who defends this type of RNG by trying to say this is the same as a "random occurrence" is an idiot.

Yeah I draw both my apprentices and flamewaker and with 6 mana I can quarterback my discovered invocation into 50 damage, clearing your board, and playing 20-30 spells worth of at least 60 plus mana all with six mana! Damn I should’ve played better instead of getting otk’d on turn 6 with 30 health right? Wow it’s like apprentice hasn’t always been a problem but duhhh drrrrrr we don’t know how to fix it! How about nerfing that little bitch into the ground for starters you fucking garbage incompetent company. Why is this game such a big rng, BM fiesta? With cheesy wins and raterded people? Of course as you can see the mage was hovering with the last pig over my face, I had to concede he just was enjoying maximum BM he can get. of course he discovered everything. MEGA STUPID GAME.

Also I add person form last game (not this one), of course he won with stupid shit anyway, he started with Imperial is going after me, I was like who are imperials? And then he went "bye, farewell, I was expecting babyrage". I love when people say things like this, it makes them look over the situation in control, but they just won with stupid decks anyway, with retarded mechanics with this stupid game.

Im so fucking disgusted everytime I play this game, it doesnt bring any joy whatsoever, at least if the community would be cool but no DEVS and COMMUNITY alike. as the saying goes, Dog is like his owner.
