LMAO so after i got sick of standard last night only for my first wild game to be against a Big Priest, I went back to the wild queue just now only to face off against a secret mage. Ladder just sucks unless you play the most OP decks. We just got a new expansion and nobody wants to experiment. Boring, boring nerdlets everywhere.
Hm let’s see every single mode rigged as fuck as usual. Play bg’s terrible fight rng take two massive amounts of damage get knocked out hmm. Play arena with my free run hm loss number one he top decks the PERFECT card and I lose, loss two the perfect steamroll opening, loss three my opp tops the make everyone have one attack no more lethal, then tops heal discovers bored clear and wins from being lethal’d two turns in a row and wins. Wow what a miraculous comeback and show is skill in every single game! Remember guyz rng is super skillful! Pure skillz so many lucky top discovers and discovers! Or sorry skillful top decks and discovers!
Okay, you can complain about discover shit and how random beats skill, but I mean, topdecking is an integral and unavoidable aspect of every single card game, it's literally just luck (unless you want to put your tin foil hat on), ESPECIALLY in Arena, where games are often decided by who topdecks the best, you kinda sign up to this, that's why I don't pay gold to play this mode.

Not fuck paladin players, not fuck mage player, fuck blizzard designers that don't know how to balance their game and fuck me for playing their game.
Sorry dude but it's still the players playing those f**king decks. Nobody forces them to do so. Enough excuses. If I deem a deck unfair and broken I don't play it. This game's community is mostly made up of degenerate imbeciles. Period.
They are just abusing the tools that devs gave them. There's an old saying that goes by "if it's in the game, it's meant to be used". Devs and designers are allowing this to happen, players are just a product of the game and its rules. You can hate the players all you want, they're not the primary culprits.
Ok. So there are guns in the store. They sell them. So I may just as well buy one and shoot the store's cashier, right? After all he's the one that sold it to me, right? That's his fault. Or the government that allows the store to sell guns. Because "if they're selling them, they're meant to be used"! Yeah, correct. Let's blame it all on Blizzard.
Dude, Blizzard is literally the only one capable of preventing/allowing things to happen in the game, they LITERALLY made ALL the things you are complaining about a reality. You say "stop defending the players", I say "stop defending shitty design decisions". What did you expect, that people wouldn't utilize every aspect of the game in their favor because it makes you big sad? Please. Blame it on who deserves it, the design/balancing team, Mage and Paladin would be balanced if they really wanted to. You go after a player and make them feel guilty, and then what? Another player will come and take the spot, it simply won't change ANYTHING.
Also, your gun store analogy sucks. Is the cashier actively allowing the clients to shoot him? No. Is Blizzard actively allowing the game to reach such a low state? Yes.

Fuck lunacy mage. I can count on one hand how many cards I've actually wanted to be deleted from this game, but lunacy is at the top of that list now. Spell mage has always been annoying, but now that they have a draw 2 for 0 mana and a better spell pool? fuck 'em.
I will never, ever not be annoyed by people that bring 100% standard decks to wild - even if they're really weak compared to the wild meta. It's the principle - if it's standard legal, play it in standard, likely where it has a much better chance to win (unless the meta differences are really whack, but I can't imagine that making a standard deck with no wild additions more competitive in wild). For a lot of people wild mode exists to get away from the staleness of standard for a bit, so bringing a purely standard deck is just bad form.
Case in point - my last two matches were against a 100% standard beast hunter (never mind the great wild beasts like Crackling Razormaw or Vicious Fledgling), and, ugh, spell-only mage. That one's even more annoying because even if they were to run some of the good wild spells like Power of Creation or Puzzle Box, poof, they'll get just random ones thanks to Lunacy.
The inability to have janky games - thanks largely to rank meaning little compared to MMR - is why MTG has easily taken the lead in "fun casual pastime CCG" for me. Over there, I can stay in silver thanks to janky decks (albeit well built for jank), play decks of similar power level, and not face tier crap (from whatever format) repeatedly. And before anyone says play casual in Hearthstone - that uses MMR too, unfortunately. Anyone that's tried that approach has found that if they win enough, they also only ever face tier decks.
I'm done with Hearthstone until they fix Mage, I can't stand it, 7 of 10 games I get Mage and well is a Rng Fiesta, losing for rng most of the time is absolutely disgusting.

I am sure blizzard will be absolutely devastated hearing this.

I can't believe how horribly designed some of the core set is. They could have put ANY card they wanted to in it, but somehow counterspell is still there. And of course, it costs me two important spell casts in a row, and I lose the game to Deck of Lunacy mage.
To say nothing about spell mage. Even my sleek tempo Rogue deck loses to spell mage if they get lucky (which happens... EXTREMELY often).
Actually they get lucky about 50% of the time. All decks do.
I mean no?
I mean Blizzard has a stated goal of an overall 50% win rate.
I just want to do fun things, I want to make a deck with my N'zoth or Kargal. I want to try out the new legendaries in the Core set.
It feels like I can't beat the crazy early game of secret paly without the infinite removal of warlock, I can't get around the removal of warlock without going over the top with burn mage, I can't survive the burn mage without the crazy aggro of secret paly. Rogue gets an honourable mention for doing basically the same thing as mage but being weak to taunt.
1. Opponent had 7+ treants dead on his board, resurrects good minions? ✓
2. His portrait blinking like a christmas tree? ✓
3. Using uninteractive mechanics (graveyard)? ✓
4. Playing cancer decks in casual? ✓
5. Incompetent development team? ✓
Hotel? Trivago.
Jesus Christ, if I'm playing casual and see a Big Priest, I swear I'll go and personally murder every single player of this deck + the devs who had the brilliant idea of approving its existence.

That's Big Priest players for ya. They only know how to play decks that go full curvestone and requires only a single card to be played each turn (and these cards are always in the same order, meaning the games are always pretty much the same), and whe they can't abuse poorly thought out design decision anymore because the meta knows how to counter it (see Death and Taxes Paladin) they resort to spread their cancerous tumor of a deck in a format where they know that minimum effort is required because their opponents will be playing just for fun, even less so than when it was relevant in the meta.
God, I hate Big Priest so fucking much, you can call me an hypocrite for blaming the players, and indeed, I AM being a hypocrite now, but it's just because I can't help but take it personally. If you play this deck you can ROT IN HELL.

2nd time this has happened in a week.Game starts and opponents avatar is froze big in the middle of screen until draw is over. When game begins my turn is completely lagged out and get maybe 5 secs to do anything.Players turn they get no lag whatsoever and give me a smartass emote to end their turn.Needless to say with no time to play anything to counter they win fast and emote again with a thank you. This last time same thing with player avatar froze in the middle until start of game. This time though opponent takes turn and ends.On my turn lag immediatly starts and i cant play anything. It would not let me end turn much less play anything.I sat in game for almost 10 minutes and finally quit game to desktop.I recieved the loss and he got the win.Anyone else experiance anything like this?

I had a game recently where I was disconnected on every one of my turns and I had to wait to be recconected. It was so frustrating. A restart solved the problem.
the most fun is obviously playing against ridiculous super busted spell mages in casual mode, why the fuck even bother... what a joke. get that shit into ladder and fuck off
also, paladins has been the most boring class to play and play against basically since beta, just bores me silly... just obnoxiously lame and uninteresting. they have like 0 fun mechanics whatsoever

Also Hunter.

Basically you're playing aggro af or, if you can miraculously survive said aggro, you're dying to warlock.

The card completely delete priest without almost any counter play, the match up would be actually fun and fair without this card.
