Ugh,
Even if Paly and Mage are nerfed then we go back to Ticketus warlock every other game and that's just removal all game and then deletes my deck and plays free giants. If THAT gets nerfed then we're back to "Oops, all aggro" again.
Not to mention that Paly still has the pure package to fall back on.

It feels like I'm either getting my face mashed in so quickly that I can't do anything interesting or I'm playing against the same decks over and over again.

Sure, what's "interesting" is subjective, but I hate the matchups like Paladin where the strategy seems to be "pray they have bad draw" even when I have what should be reasonable early game.

Standard is unplayable, so I queue up wild for the first time in a month. First game is against Big Priest! At Bronze 10! Like, I know you just started on wild ladder too, so probably here for the same reason I am, and that's the deck you bring to the wild ladder??

Here we gooooo. A week or so into the new expansion, and now people can only play the same decks they've seen their streamers play. I'm pretty sure that change they made to ranking/MMR a while ago where you could play people outside your rank based on your hidden MMR means that even in silver and bronze, you keep facing decks of various tiers and never get to do the old jank v jank matchups that used to be so darn fun.

Hm let’s see every single mode rigged as fuck as usual. Play bg’s terrible fight rng take two massive amounts of damage get knocked out hmm. Play arena with my free run hm loss number one he top decks the PERFECT card and I lose, loss two the perfect steamroll opening, loss three my opp tops the make everyone have one attack no more lethal, then tops heal discovers bored clear and wins from being lethal’d two turns in a row and wins. Wow what a miraculous comeback and show is skill in every single game! Remember guyz rng is super skillful! Pure skillz so many lucky top discovers and discovers! Or sorry skillful top decks and discovers!

I am so bored of the crazy Rng and i am playing Battlergounds a lot better than facing Reno on 6 with gorgon....

I'm outing myself as a priest player here but exactly this^.

On one hand, I can understand "Ticketus is supposed to be a counter to control" and "Jaraxxus has traditionally been the priest destroyer" but JEEZ. By that logic priest should be the counter to aggro secret paly but that's definitely not the case.

Warlock is just the only control class right now and their win condition is so strong, it doesn't actually require any synergy. So besides Ticketus, J-rax and Y'sjaarj the whole deck is removal or removal synergy.

I've had it man....just played 10 games..........6 fucking Mages and 4 Palas!!!

It was extremely FUN!!!!

When you win in 5 turns it is not because you made a great deck or that you are good at the game.

When you lose in 5 turns it is not because you made a bad deck or because you are bad at the game.

What are the common denominators? Deck doesn't matter. "Skill" doesn't matter. Getting spoon fed perfect cards on curve means you don't play the game, you watch it.

Or the government that allows the store to sell guns. Because "if they're selling them, they're meant to be used"! Yeah, correct. Let's blame it all on Blizzard.

I can't believe how horribly designed some of the core set is. They could have put ANY card they wanted to in it, but somehow counterspell is still there. And of course, it costs me two important spell casts in a row, and I lose the game to Deck of Lunacy mage.

To say nothing about spell mage. Even my sleek tempo Rogue deck loses to spell mage if they get lucky (which happens... EXTREMELY often).
