I can't begin to describe how life is without this game in it. It's been three weeks and I don't miss it. No more numerous pockets of rage. No more wanting to shive my iPhone down someone's throat. It's really nice.
Well, you couldn't get rid of the game entirely. Otherwise you would hardly be in this forum here and would write a contribution.
Right? It's not exactly like this is a healthy community, where you make lifelong friends who you'd need this site to keep in touch with.
I got clean after being a opiate addict for 8 years, and I sure don't text my old dealers just to chat 😂😂
People are too funny.
Because being an actual drug addict is the same thing...
But I think the point is there.
I never understood why I see so many posts about people "quitting HS" and "so glad I don't play this game anymore", and these will be the first posts on a new thread about updates or something.
If you quit this game, why not go to some other forum?
Always remember to give your toxic brain dead deck playing opponent a thank you at then end of the game to remind them of what an absolute joy they make this game to play. The future sure is bright for Hearthstone.
I definitely believe that the RNG is related to the number of cards you buy or the money you spend on the game. I never pay real money to buy packs, so I guess I am deeply punished for it.

Speaking of being punished, don't be surprised if you get a warning for pointing out the obvious. We aren't allowed to talk about such things here for some unknown reason.

The reason is not really unknown. It has been pointed out by mods previously that spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories is simply not allowed or accepted here. The reason for that can be many, but likely doesn’t deviate from why it is not allowing on many other online platforms and social media.
Conspiracy mongering is harmful not only to the person fueling the fire, but also to the community they try to feed the conspiracy. A lot of research has been done on the negative impact of spreading conspiracy theories (both social impacts and mental impacts for the ones believing them), so it is a very natural step to try and reduce the spread.
Professor Nyhan’s research speaks in more depth about the emotional impact on the believers, and also addresses the rabbit hole their brains enter. To a point where even when presented with documented proof discrediting the conspiracy theory, it will strengthen their false beliefs. Adam Mongrain has come to similar conclusion, and phrased it “once you believe something untrue, it’s very easy to keep rationalizing that belief. It’s very easy to dismiss your critics as shortsighted.”
Before this turns into a scientific rambling:
TLDR: countless scientific, both social and mental, reasons to disallow spreading of conspiracy theories.
How to ruin your start of your day? Face 2 degenerate priest players in a row.
If you like random just throw dice 30 times and see if the sum is less or greater than 75, why bother wasting everyone's time? If you think you're good everyone will agree you're not good when your play is literally get answers from random generation or lose. I just checked deck tracker: degenerate got 36 generated cards. 36! He literally played more generated cards, than there are in his deck, and we weren't even into fatigue.
Whoever designed this needs to be fired and whoever plays this degeneracy will get rope from me: you waste my time instead of throwing dice - i waste yours.
I want to bitch about MMR for a bit. It's garbage. Apparently it's calculated every other day or so. It's not important. The thing is, you play a good deck and you have a godly winrate for a couple of days. But after that you start playing much better opponents because of MMR, not where you are on the ladder. Then your winrate plummets. Then MMR is recalculated and you go like knife trough butter again. And so on.
This leads to a couple of great days/evenings (I go to work in the day), followed by a couple of miserable, ballbusting ones. God forbid you play a slightly meme deck on one of your bad days. You will get pummeled. Imagine playing Devil may Cry, but the difficulty changes between easy, normal, and hard on every sitting. Yes, I got Legend for the first (and second) time because of MMR, but it is hollow. It doesn't mean much. It was supposed to limit noob crushing, but I don't see it. It only creates an imbalanced experience.

So posts like "Fuck Druid" and "Freeze mage players should hang themselves" are completely acceptable and constructive but talking about manipulated aspects of the game is damaging. Makes sense.

I had a comment removed a few days ago. Pretty sure it was because I was talking about said topic. But a bit more in depth and on blast.

That is called a strawman argument, but no, I never said or even implied that
Games are decided by rng. Either you win/lose at the mulligan or some random effect wins the game. 0 skill involved only a grind. The fact that bots can get you to legend shows this.
game isn’t rigged, people just think the game should be fair and rng should always be handed out equally.
This is one of the few places on this forum left to criticize or point out corruption in regards to how Blizzard has setup the payment model.
We all know the mods are in contact with them. Its not misinformation at this point when you have to ban people or remove posts.
Its very likely that Blizzard can manipulate RNG and those who pay more money or are streamers who promote the game probably get a lot of that going in their favor.
sigh the only matchups I seem to get in wild are against mechathun lock, quest mage, and raza priest, it's like watching nerds slowplay solitaire every game. If I want that, I can go play MTG, this game is supposed to be different.
The format really has become degenerate.
I really hope if the wild bundle does well they will see it has players interested in playing wild and actually do some maintenance on the format to remove some of the more toxic and uninteractive combos that are currently spammed.
43 rolls and no pogos with only 5 off the pool and staying at level 2... It's not enough that the BS RNG screws you up... This just destroys the little fun you can have in the game... And no other player was playing pogos...

Any tips on how to draw ideally when playing face hunter?
Whenever I play Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron, I am like *sigh*

If I play blackjack with my 8 year old niece and deal her 21 every time she is going to think that she's an amazing blackjack player.
Just saying.
