Anytime I want a nice laugh, I just come to this forum thread. Then a go back to playing Legends of Runeterra. Never thought I'd be one of "those" guys but there's no doubt in my mind its the much superior card game in almost every way. Only thing hs has on it is time. Hs has really gone so far downhill the last couple years. Lor came out at the right time but every now and then I pop onto hs and am immediately reminded why I hardly play

I had great hopes for Runeterra, but it appears to have completely fizzled out. Had a surge of popularity, but quickly dropping off the map. Not entirely sure what caused the enormous drop in players, but I’ve felt it myself too, barely play no more. Just look at Twitch for examples, barely any viewers left
Just get rid of Gentle Megasaur in battlegrounds already. No other minion type has access to both poisonous and divine shield and it just feels so unfair when it happens. It is not like murlocs are that risky a strategy to begin with. I propose a new minion that just gives all murlocs poisonous at tier 6. NO MORE POISONOUS DIVINE SHIELD MINIONS FUCK THAT OP SHIT.
Why the fuck did Blizzard nerf Shaman's rush minion from 7 mana to 9 mana, only to print Bloodboil Brute for Warrior at 7 mana?
The only explanation here is that Blizzard doesn't really care about balance in the game. Rather, they care about ensuring some classes are OP at any given time, to attract people to them and hopefully sell card packs. I appreciate it's a business, but some respect for the player base could surely form part of a still competitive business model.

Shaman has access to a 0 mana evolve card (Mutate), which in combination with a 7 mana Mogu could create an 8 drop very early. The discount condition for Mogu is also easier to fulfill than the Brute's.
Does anyone know why people bring carbon-copy standard demon hunter decks into wild? It's happened since it came out, and I really don't get it. It doesn't take much intelligence to realise that a deck that is 100% standard would almost certainly do better in standard, than in wild (even if the deck somehow has a good matchup given the wild meta, surely there'd be wild inclusions that would make it even stronger).
It just boggles my mind. I can't believe people would be that stupid, so there must be another reason for it, surely.
Edit: holy fuck, 2 in a row, wtf. Second one was technically wild, but only included Azure Drake and Gluttonous Ooze in an otherwise standard highlander DH deck. That one was even more baffling, as they actively had to make the choice to go wild for seemingly just those 2 cards (saw top 20 of their cards and those were the only 2 wild cards). And then a rez priest in the jank leagues that decided to run both quest and Psychic Conjurer - because you want to be putting a 1/1 in the pool towards the start of the game, and want to be splitting resources between the quest and resurrecting. >.>
Can we just change the card text to Thought Steal from "copy 2 random cards from your opponents deck" to "copy 2 of your opponents best epic or legendary cards"?

Yeah when they decided to dumb the game down to attract new players they really tweaked it so that discover cards only pull the absolute best cards.
They should also change the name of Animal Companion to "Summon Huffer"
Id like to meet person/people who designed Altruis and punch him/them in the face so hard they would quit a job and never show up anywhere again
I think that twin slice nerf is gonna really help against that, at least a bit. But yeah face damage is insane, I feel like nerfing altruis to only minion damage would be to much. so again Altruis to me should be a 6 mana card maybe like 5/4 stats.
Another day, another player in wild with a 100% standard demon hunter build. As is often the case I beat this one (usually the players that are bad enough to include a 100% standard deck aren't very good at the game), but it's just so frustrating, and so baffling, to see it happen time after time. I've never seen it happen nearly as much as any other class as I have with demon hunter, and I just can't think of a good reason to do it.
i just played control dead man hand warrior vs odd warrior. game ended in a draw.
how can odd warrior ignore fatigue? elissiana. but thats not the only way. he can just play dead mans hand forever. bcs thats what he got from elissiana. AND a ZEPHRYS.
i had over 100 armor he was sitting at 40 in the end. and all i needed was few more turns. in the end i had full hand of nzoths(scrap golems for days with rush thanks to dr. Boom) and nzoths favourite subject mad deathwing. + dead man hand. over the course of game i dropped commanding shouts to combo with deathinwing for clears. and i wanted to just play nzoths to get rid off his removal options. less cards was better for me.

but turn limit.
I feel ya - when Rise of Shadows first came out (I think it was then), they had one of those grand tavern brawls where you tried to get up to 12 wins for big prizes. Played my own control mech/dragon warrior brew with three Elisiana uses (thanks to Baleful Banker) - opponent playing a similarish build, but only 2 uses. Meaning I was on track for victory, because none of our Elisiana cards were deal breakers. But, turn limit. That would've been my 12th win, instead I went 11-3.
Though I definitely understand why it's there - to prevent a true stalemate game - it's just a shame when the game isn't actually a stalemate.
who?

Are there even other classes than DH and Hunter in this game anymore????
FUCK this orientated fast brainless aggro meta!!!!
Had to create a new profile because "something" went wrong with Hearthpwn!! Lost all my shit and they couldn't fix it they say!
Shame on you Heartpwn in these digital days!!
Oh yeah.….and FUCK Brainless Aggro
DH is the worst thing that happened to Hearthstone since Baku/Genn. Infuriatingly stupid op class.

Tired of playing against DH over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Please play a class or deck that requires you to have a brain.
i just wanna get rid of this cancerous battle net account please help thanks.

People who play netdecked decks in play mode need to go drink some bleach. Play your tier 2 deck on ladder, you pussy.
Am I allowed to be salty at myself for making boneheaded plays on a few games that were shaping up to be easy wins?
I'm also salty at my damn mouse for picking up the wrong card I was trying to cast.
