Why do Rogues always hit Winged Guardians with their Pharaoh Cats and easily get 7 free cards as additional bonus? Feels like Rogues have become the true gods of "created by" cards and maximum discounts.
Please give me a good deck that works in ranked. I can only win with highlander hunter but I'm tired of it. Tried secret rogue and galakrond priest and they don't work. But for some reason when I faced galakrond priest, they get super good rng and copies my galakrond turn, and then copies my Tirion Fordring. When it's like this it doesn't matter what you play. You will always lose...
Any deck works in ranked. Just keep playing. Eventually you will average out at about a 50% win rate. Doesn't matter if you are playing the cancer of the week deck or some hodge podge deck you threw together. The ZTG based matching system will maintain the overall 50% win rate. It has nothing to do with your deck or your opponent. You can't beat manipulated RNG.
The tinfoil on you is too hilarious, don’t ever stop man

Welcome to 3 years ago. Exploratory patents are extremely common for one. Intent for this one was to induce incentive to make micro transactions for skins as stated in the actual patent. Was also stated not to be implemented, which doesn’t really mean much on its own, granted. But if you are right, go make a new deck, let the algorithm fill in all cards randomly and cruise that to diamond 5 with 50% winrate
This sounds plausible as horrible as it might seem. It would explain a lot of my matchups, and why people with pay to win decks are more successful. I only have legendaries for a few full decks, and for some classes I'm missing most of them. Seeing those big minion DHs or warrios might make you want to buy, except I've already decided not to spend much money in this game.
Even if there are some ****** budget face hunter decks that can win by just completing a sidequest, I think the system he's talking about is actually in place. The algorithm can't be solid enough to cover every deck.
Activision wouldn't spend the time and money developing and applying for a patent that they had no intention of implementing. Some players get all butt hurt and take it personally if you even suggest that the RNG in this game ain't so random. I have never been able to figure out why some players get so defensive over the subject. If someone gets more enjoyment believing in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and a video game that was built to be random and fair (not programmed to generate revenue) then more power to them.

They absolutely would, this is just your lack of understanding of the real world. Software company I work for has several exploratory patterns, currently 0 of them are actively in use. It is completely common practice.
Speaking of believing in Santa Clause, let’s just take a step back and remember that you are the one with a belief with 0 supporting evidence other than gut feel and a desire to believe you are correct, whereas all available data point to you being wrong. Are you also suggesting that they keep track of all tournaments throughout the world, and somehow track the IPs of the participants to ensure this magic system of yours has no effect here? I don’t think I need to explain to you why match-fixing is highly illegal with prizes on the line.
Also, why don’t don’t all meta decks have 50% win rate?
Why is it a struggle for you to hit legend, when others breeze through?
You said specifically that “any deck works in ranked”, because they are match fixing to 50%, so my challenge for you to take a randomly generated deck to diamond 5 with a 50% win rate still stands. Easy way to test if your Santa is real
I had lethal on board (18hp) when i was down to 7 hp versus galakrond rogue, my opponent played a free Kronx drawn from Galakrond and took me down to 2 hp, then spent the rest of his turn playing lackeys to try and find lethal, with one mana left he evolved Kronx into Baron Geddon to kill me. I've never felt the joy of a comeback ruined so quickly and abruptly. The worst part is I tried to add him as a friend after to see if he by any chance recorded the match, but my app crashed. If you're out there, please send me a message because that was the craziest match I've played in a long time.
An often-neglected RNG aspect: pack opening. I've opened exactly 2 AoO legendaries so far, Magtheridon and bow Bulwark of Azzinoth. Maybe I should buy some packs till I also get Al'ar to complete my collection of useless legendaries...

So your contention is that the system manipulates things like the number of rares or better in a pack, the number of rares or better offered in an arena deck, the occurrence of cards in arena, how often you pull a legendary (pity timer), arranging quest cards to be in the opening hand, make cards that cast spells that "target enemies whenever possible", and even created ZTG which reads the board and determines the best possible cards, but that they would never use similar programming in other aspects of the game? I just want to make sure I am clear on your position.
What in the fucking hell is this? This guy had TWO GOLDEN hawks, GOLDEN Baron, Imp Mama, and TWO Spawns of N'Zoth. Basically, his board just keeps buffing itself 50,000 times per turn, making his imp mama unkillable, which means he just never stops getting taunts and buffing his board over and over and over. What kind of horse shit is this?
Why is my Hearthstone experience, regardless of mode, one non-stop Trolden highlight reel?? Why do my opponents ALWAYS have the dumbest luck you could possibly imagine. This guy had 7 pirates, including 2 Dread Admiral Elizas and a Tide Razor. Tide Razor dies. What pops out? TWO more freaking Dread Admiral Elizas. Right.

its because they are shills that are here to discredit you so kids fall for the monetization tricks.
It would be nice if the matchmaking was not rigged as hell. How is it possible that I play an off meta deck (quest druid) I go 8-0 then suddenly, out of fucking nowhere I see only aggro decks with perfect curve and I can't find any heal?
Urgggghhhhh, there is really no skill in this game, none. Sure if you play a bit better you might win a bit more , but the 50% police will get you eventually.

Skill? lol game just needs your attention so you don't miss play so being able to give enough attention is the only skill this game requires. There are also small mind games you play to your opponents but they rarely happens such as luring your opponent to play certain cards like if I play 50 games only one of them requires little mind games to win.
Just fucking remove Kayn Sunfury from the game. Tired of this brainless bullshit.
Blizzard: “Let’s move Leeroy to HoF”
Blizzard 5 minutes later: “Let’s add an even more cancerous charge minion and make it... wait for it... class specific! Also let’s give demon hunters a lot of damage from hand so that people realized tempo mage was actually ok!”
Playing the brawl. It's a fun one, and while there's RNG involved, there's definitely more skill in this one than stuff like Crossroads. That said, when RNG does come into play, it can get veeery frustrating.
I was playing druid, opponent hunter (nice to have neither playing DH for a change). We're having a good match trading blows back and forth. Opponent has had slightly more luck with their cards, but not a game-winning margin. He has a fairly small board - something like a 1/4, 1/1 and 2/1 - I manage to play three pirates, and buff one of them to a 4/7 taunt. Opponent has no cards in hand at this point, so their only hope is their Webspinner and their treasure offering.
Treasure offering seems to be a dud. They sac in Webspinner - and out of aaaaall the beasts they could've gotten, they get Ironbeak Owl to basically battlecry for 4 damage. I'm on relatively low health, and the next turn they get a stealth that I can't deal with/taunt off me, so that's game. That darn owl...!
Definitely not as salty as I have been in other situations (mainly people playing competitive decks in jank leagues), but it did sting when it looked like I had turned a corner myself in the game, only to be RNG Owl'd.
For once that I needed Raza and Anduin on curve against a quest jade druid...got Anduin on turn 12 and Raza was in the bottom 3. I brought him all the way down to 7 health after he'd used Kun THREE times and two earthen scales, fucking hell. So bloody frustrating, I can't even remember a single time that either Raza or Anduin weren't in the bottom 10 of my deck. Need to learn how to draw better.
Is it safe to assume that most demon hunters you run into are just scrubs who flock to a class a 4yo can master.....how many devs play and jer off to this joke of a class?
Anytime I want a nice laugh, I just come to this forum thread. Then a go back to playing Legends of Runeterra. Never thought I'd be one of "those" guys but there's no doubt in my mind its the much superior card game in almost every way. Only thing hs has on it is time. Hs has really gone so far downhill the last couple years. Lor came out at the right time but every now and then I pop onto hs and am immediately reminded why I hardly play

Damn I wanted to play some mage, but Reno decided to screw me over three times in a row. Ok then. I leave it be.

I honestly have no idea how people can keep playing this game. I’ve never played something That is so heavily influenced by luck...

New patch, new bug in the battleground, poisonous not killing instantly and no divine shield or something in play, GG.
