Please give me a reason to continue play HS after this Game
2x Vaporize, 4x Fireball.
Mage: plays a secret
Him: Attacks to see what it is. Minion dies to vaporize. Fine, you couldn't predict that but now you knkw that it is a possibility.
Mage: plays another secret
Him: slams right into it with his biggest minion.
OmG hOw dId I lOsE?!
Don't continue. It seems best to me.
You failed to mention that 1 secret and 2 fireballs were created by other stuff. Cannot play around everything. The secret that deals 3 dmg to all minions it's more common than vaporize nowadays. It's like when a hunter place a trap i should play also around Snipe. And hunter cannot create secret from nothing so easily...
There is no sense in complaining about this deck or that card. ZTG showed us how the system reads the board and decides what card to offer. Clearly this is the heart of the system that determines which card you draw. Watch any "pro" streamer and see how they magically draw the card that they need time after time. Many even call it out before they draw. It's not luck. No one wants to watch someone stream themselves winning 50% of their games. So Blizzard removes "pro" streamers from the matchmaking system. The idea is to get people to watch the streamers dominate with a deck, then go make that deck which hopefully causes them to spend real money. Then they play the deck but subject to the matchmaking system and go figure they win about 50% of their games. Then the player convinces themselves that the "pro" player must just be better at the game, goes and watches another stream with a new deck build and the cycle repeats. It is a business after all.
Another deck taken to 70% win rate after 90 games. Suddenly, last 23 games 5-18 including a streak of 13 losses in a row. Not even "Damn, I misplayed" kind of loss, but complete and utter bullshit RNG losses and opponent having the absolute best possible opening hand kind of losses. What's changed? Did the meta shift at approximately 3pm EST today and suddenly all my favorable match-ups disappeared? Did I complete my daily RNG quest and miss the notification? Did I begin a new "Overcome Insurmountable Odds!" quest I am unaware of? Things that make you go hmmmmmm.
I'm super mad even though I've won every single one of those games: WTF is ressurrect priest. Like is there even a chance for them to actually win? Never did I lose to them, BUT I HATE THOSE GAMES. They are just playing it to annoy the living shit out of you. Oh, LOOK, another 4 Convincing Infiltrators, after the 17 others you already had to deal with. Oh, you had polymorph, so I cannot ress them infiltrators? Have fun with 17 Karthut defenders and 3 catrinas making sure they keep spawning 24/7.
You finally managed to build up a board to deal with the amount of shit I am going to throw at you? Nope, soul mirror go BRRR.
Fucking hell, what an annoying deck. Honestly, why would some1 play this shit? In 9 out of 10 games they deal 0 dmg to me in the whole freaking game, unfortunately those games always take 40minutes because they rope every single turn. "Do I play convincing infiltrator or another karthut defender? GAME CHANGING DECISIONS TO BE MADE HERE".
GOSH! I'd rather lose to demon hunter than play and win against those decks.
Really guys, wtf is mage's quest still the way it is. Its ridiculous giving you one more turn even more when you can easily pull this out on turn 7-8 after have dealt a conseiderable amount of damage with that sick Aprendice+Flamewaker+Cyclone combo. That miserable nerf did nothing to the card, and i'm really tired of facing this dumbass deck. I joined wild to face variety of decks, from all classes, but looks like its either quest mage or secret mage or a pirate warrior lost on the way.
Ugh, demon hunter - just an unfun class at low ranks. As someone that prefers playing midrange, control or combo (basically everything but aggro), their strength lies in aggro/tempo, so when you play it - you get your arm twisted to a degree, and when you play against it, they're basically just hoping you draw badly in the early game. For myself - and I imagine at least some other players - it's just an unfun situation whenever they're involved in a game in the jank leagues, unless you get one of those odd situations where they're actually trying something different (for example, it's awful compared to regular demon hunter but OTK Metamorphosis combo is sooo much more fun, IMO, than the usual fare).
You win Bli$$ you win. You’re right! A rogue going hail marry into a 22/22 van cleef because he got the discover spell lackey into shadow step over and over and over. Into me freezing cleef. But that’s ok my opp will top deck removal. Into me freezing cleef again. Into my opp top deck removal again. Into finally setting him up for lethal that next turn. Only for my opp to top deck miscreant into two two damage lackies. I’m convinced this is super duper fun! I’m convinced that this is height skill. I’m convinced that players who are legit morons to begin with can play equally as retarded and never be punished is awesome. And in fact they should always be rewarded! I’m convinced discover is a great mechanic! And I’m convinced consistently only ever losing to rng created by bs is just me needing to play better. And my opp always top decking and rolling 1/4 twice is me being a bad player. And that wins that when my opp has a 99.9 percent of losing and situations that should happen 0.00000001 amount of the time that happens 100 percent of the time is just in reality great game design. I guess I need to be retarded, play bad, and always put myself in losing situations if I want to be good at hearthstone. Because every mother fucking loss is like this. Every single fucking one!
Everyone has their own particular decks they hate, so if everyone had their wishes granted there would be NO decks played. However, I just want to reiterate for the 734823492th time that CASUAL is a game mode intended for players to have fun and enjoy playing Hearthstone in a NON-COMPETITIVE setting, where they can try out interactions, do quests, and pull off crazy combos that are otherwise impossible to play on ladder. Essentially, it's meme deck vs. meme deck -- which is FUN. If you don't understand the meaning of the word CASUAL and feel the need to bring your top tier hyper aggro "kill your opponent in 4 turns" meta decks into CASUAL, you're missing the entire fucking point of the game mode.

All I can say is try it yourself. Your top tier 4 turn kill deck will lose 50% of the time to some insane deck which only works if the key cards are drawn on curve in the right order (which happens often defying all probability). The game doesn't care what deck you play. It is programmed to maintain an overall 50% win rate.
The discover mechanic is so frustrating to play against. Zephrys is obviously hard to play around (Although I frankly don’t mind Zephrys as much as DQA, which is completely broken), but even cards like Emerald Explorer, that can repeatedly discover themselves, make it extremely challenging to actually navigate the game. What good is handreading or deckreading if your opponent can simply discover something to suddenly help them counter your strategy? What is the point of deck limitations if you can generate theoretically infinite copies of certain cards? I really, really, really hope they move away from this awful mechanic. It should at least be limited to spells, so that it’s not possible to generate infinite copies of a minion.

While I don't disagree with that, the point of my post is that CASUAL is for CASUAL play, not competitive (ranked) play. If people in CASUAL wanted to face off against ladder decks, they'd play on the fucking ladder, not in CASUAL. The whole point of the casual game mode is it's NOT ladder. What's the fucking point of CASUAL if it's the same fucking decks as ladder? That's not very casual. Why are people try-harding in CASUAL? Winning in casual with a Tier 1 meta deck is fucking pointless. All it proves is you can beat meme decks. It's just like "Congratulations, jerk. You win."
Just on the casual front - I believe it's annoying as heck to face tier/competitive decks in there, but honestly Blizz has done nothing to make it a casual mode beyond the name (while there is a lack of ranks, there's still MMR). Therefore, the name is really the problem - it's not actually casual mode, it's unranked mode.
It's a problem in many games. I also play Brawlhalla, and while I had fun in the casual modes for a long time, since the introduction of a new season pass those casual modes have become swarmed with high level players and balanced matches for casual players have gone out the window. Slightly dick move, but I'm actually considering tanking my ranked ELO just so I can get a positive winrate and not have a migraine-inducing time trying to get the season pass stuff done myself. I don't want to do that, but am feeling a bit forced atm.

The only thing that I can offer is that I do play meta decks in casual if I have never played with them before. I'm not saying that applies to every meta deck you come across.
It seems to me that they are really ratcheting up the mindlessness of the game. Every game I play I either get perfect cards on curve that I couldn't hand pick any better, or I sit with a useless hand and get demolished. No in between. It has always been like this but I just lost to a druid in 5 turns where I healed for 8 and still lost. It could only be possible if he got the exact cards that he did in the order he did. Of course he top decked the game winner. That's a given.
Okay, first time posting on this, because this is the first time i have properly tried to grind ladder, i didn't play for a while, so when i came back i saw the tier 1 decks and decided to go with Highlander Hunter (everyone will hate me for that) i had a bunch of the legendaries needed because of previous expansions etc, so im hardstuck gold 1, either i get the worst matchups in existence, or i just get a bad hand. So i keep losing and going back to gold 5, then i get a real good win streak and make it to gold 1 again, this has happened to me 2 or 3 times. so im sitting with a winstreak of 4 , at gold 1 with one star, so i queue up and i go against what i feel is my worst matchup, galakrond rogue, i control the early and pretty confident i can win in the next turn. he draws galakrond and gets the biggest powerspike in a deck in hs history. i basically winning the entire game, and lose because of that one galakrond. I don't let it get to me, and queue up again, i get matched yet again with another galakrond rogue, lose by turn 6. and back in gold 2 with two stars.
My amazing RNG continues. I Brightwing into a random Millhouse Manastorm. My ROGUE opponent rolls a random Grand Lackey Erkh from a Evolve Lackey effectively winning him the game instantly. Amazing.
Fucking Highlander Hunter Dragonqueen Alexstrasza into Kalecgos into Nagrand Slam. I hate to sound like a broken record, but seriously. When I say Blizzard fucking hates me, I'm not kidding.

Can we just fence off all the aggro players so they can jerk off eachother?
I just wanted to play long control games, but it's impossible when 9 of 10 games are against aggro?
Blizzard please stop printing aggro cards pls
I smell like a leper gnome.
