Today I got fucked by no balls rogues in many ways : malygos top deck, togwaggle on 10x kronx,  ultra skilled 4x same lackey, ultra skilled topdeck galakrond on topdeck baron on topdeck wandrous wand on topdeck exact lethal. I am disappointed how all those spineless no skill trash pussies who can't even socialize yet alone talk to a girl and keep on masturbating with their fat hands perform better on ladder than anyone , demon hunter included.

Flik single handedly has the power to destroy your best cards or kill combos, Blackjack Stunner has the ability to bounce AND render late game cards completely unplayable AND simultaneously reduce opponent hand size for as little as 1 mana, their Galakrond hero power is unlimited value, they have the strongest "discover" mechanics in the game and virtually ensure they find what they need whenever they need it, they have more draw than any other class, most of that draw also comes with a body, a weapon, or a significant reduction to card cost, they get to play a MINIMUM of 7/30 of their cards for 0 mana regardless of original cost, they can develop a larger than 10/10 Edwin Van Cleef AND a full board of additional minions on any given turn, they have access to every secret from every class, the highest damage per mana cost spells in the game (even stronger than MAGE), many of which can EITHER go face or hit minions and ALL of which enable "combo" cards. Even when they draw terribly and low roll every RNG outcome, they can still be competitive with just about any deck.

It really doesn't make sense to bitch about any certain deck. The manipulated RNG and matchmaking can arrange a win with any deck. When you climb the ladder only to go on a 5 game losing streak do you really think it is bad luck? Did you suddenly forget how to play? Does your mirror opponent that has the exact same cards just know how to play them better? No. Blizzard has a stated goal of an overall 50% win rate. That is why you slaughter one game and get slaughtered the next. They have not yet refined the programming to make the games close. Eventually they will figure out that they can get players to play longer if they actually think they had a chance at winning that last game. Until then it will just be a one sided beat down every game. 

I've been learning to play Highlander Hunter, struggling with an awful 3-13 today with it.

Opponent was Dragon Hunter. I made a big brain play T4, Zephrys to get Chaplain instead of Ooze (had one in hand) to get trading value and take back the board, while killing his weapon.

I get the board back with a Rotnest on his stealth minion (amazing tempo), playing my Felmaw at the same time. Opponent can't come back on board and decides to race: plays Felmaw, gets out another Explosive Trap and hits a 5 damage kill command, all while hero powering non-stop.

Down to 5 HP here, opponent has Explosive Trap in play. I hold back and hope his Felmaw doesn't hit my face. Great, my Felmaw hits his face and triggers the trap (clearing my smaller minions). Lucky me got the prime last turn, I play him and fill the board with 4/4s, for a total of 7 minions and lethal setup. Opponent has no more cards in hand.

AND THE DAMN FELMAW HITS MY FACE.

I'm so sick of this bs arena mode, they say it's a good way for f2p players to get a good collection, I say it's a trash mode and if you don't pick warlock, paladin or warrior and go for every 7+ mana card that's offered you lose. Like wtf you can't play tempo in arena because people trade early game or use removal and then beat you late game with their mega greedy decks. That's how arena is now, go greedy or go 0-3, fucking annoying and ofc you need that "SKILL" to draft a good deck, if you don't draft 10 drops, big spells or cards that discover other cards you lose. What a game for losers, I will never touch that stupid mode ever again.

"Play Around"

This is a phrase specifically coined in CCG/TCGs meaning you are aware of what cards your opponent has in their deck and played your cards with careful thought and consideration for your opponent's most punishing potential next move. An example of this would be if you don't play 7 minions against a freeze mage, as doing so will more than likely leave you board locked on the following turn.

Due to the sheer number of "Random" cards in the Hearthstone meta, especially Rogue, it is literally impossible to "Play Around" anything, as anything is possible. Usually, whatever you *THINK* is the most punishing thing your opponent can do isn't even close to what actually happens. For example, you may think your opponent will Flik your threats. You may think your opponent may Blackjack Stunner your 9 mana minion into oblivion. However, when you click "End Turn" your opponent reveals he got a 0 mana Dragonqueen Alexstraza from Galakrond, which gives him a 0 mana Malygos, and he has 3 "discovered" copies of Sinister Strike for lethal.

Now, you might be thinking "He could have been Maly Rogue. I should have seen it coming." So the next time, you play around it. You keep yourself at 30 health all game. However, it's no use. Because this game he has a 0 mana Alexstrasza to knock you to 15 health and Zephrys with Bloodlust on a bunch of 1/1s.

Man, I absolutely hate when people go all-in on an aggressive strategy that crumbles to a single piece of removal, and you don't draw any. Such decks/strategies are usually mindless and/or play themselves, but when you want to play janky stuff at low ranks it's a lot harder to punish them.

Edit: I knowingly choose to play janky stuff - so OTOH, totally my fault for playing something less competitive that would be harder to punish such a strat, and it's good that there are ranks where you can get janky stuff on both sides like that. On the other, despite playing jank I still prefer it when decks are well built, and depending on the case all-in isn't necessarily well built.

secret mage in wild is one of the only decent mage decks there is. Everything in standard is rng jank that plays the game for you and decides the outcome while you just sit there

Every card in dh is fucking op bullshit, most op shit ever made in HS. U have to clear every fucking minion because it becoming worse if he stay. OP atack/health with op skill. What dumpass allow to put it into game???

Please HOF Alexstrasza and Malygos. BOTH of them have overstayed their welcome -- ESPECIALLY at 0 mana "created by" DQ Alexstrasza or Ysera, Unleashed. It feels incredibly bad to lose when you've played extremely well and outplayed your opponent the entire game, only to lose to some randomly generated "combo" that's not even a part of the person's deck. The entire experience feels pointless and honestly makes me (and I'm sure plenty of other people) question, "Why even bother playing at all?" It may create Trolden highlight clips, but it's not "fun" to lose that way.

So after playing mainly wild, i decided to try some standard games once again, to see some other decks. I mean, wild isnt to bad, about 7 classes are represented almost equaly during this month (i played about 100 games between rabk diamnd 5 and 2)...yeah and im going up and down, so i thought some change might be good...

So today im playing standard...maaaaan...i played 5 games...3 Highlander Rogues, 1 Highlander Dragon Hunter, 1 Highlander Mage...

Who the fuck has time for this...5 games playing for 2 hours...especially those rogues made the game very unattractive for me...watching endless turns with galakronds, lackeys, secrets....and that in silver lol...

yeah i guess im back to wild...that highlander play forever stuff sucks ass

sooner res priest and the other toxic decks filter out the better. nothing more infuriating than playing against a priest who mass res into vargoth and ends up with vargoth, khartut defender and 4 bone wraiths from playing one mass resurrection. its the most demeaning type of gameplay I've ever seen playing this game.

FUCK Mages with their Renos and Puzzle Boxes! I just lost a game to two perfect rolls of that stupid Reno hero power. He got to Shadow Madness my Bone Wraith which opened the path for him to hit me with two 8/8 dragons. I think that's the absolutely only spell that allowed him to deal full damage to me with a 0% chance of failure (other cards like Mind Control and Silence could whiff as i had a 5/5 as well). Then on the next turn, he rolls a fucking Fireball into the Bone Wraith which gave him lethal (i healed and buffed the Bone Wraith with Apotheosis and i was expecting that it would tank at least 2 hits). The RNG on the Reno hero power is complete bs. I was playing my Highlander Priest just to complete the quests but that's enough for today.

Just saying, but legend players faced players down to the old "rank 5" (or even lower, IIRC) even with the old ranking system. It wasn't even that unusual, tbh.

Granted, when shit players (like Solem) end up facing silver or bronze players...that definitely feels wrong, no matter what mmr might say.

Wanna hit legend? There are quite a lof of decks out there who don't need ANY SKILL TO PILOT JUST GET LUCKY AND TOPDECK THE SHIT OUT OF YOUR OPPONENT AND ALSO DON'T FORGET TO DISCOVER PERFECT CARDS.
