Highlander Priest (Me) vs Galakrond Priest...
1. They actually ran TWO Mind Controls in their deck.
2. They copied my Dragonqueen twice through a pair Thoughtsteals.
3. They got a random Dragonqueen from a Skeletal Dragon and the Skeletal Dragon came from one of their Thoughtsteals.
Game went into Fatigue and I would have won if it wasn't for the 3 Dragonqueen's they were so lucky to get.
I've had a Druid discarding an Ysera Unleashed from Fungal Fortunes a couple of days ago, now that I think about it. I thought that was weird but now I just checked, and the most recent top-rated list on HS-topdecks does in fact include her. I guess they want to counter Priest? Can't see them getting any value from her in any other matchup in the current meta, but I'm not a Druid expert.
For people who are fed up with this game, I really recommend trying out Legends of Runeterra.
I have been a F2P player on Hearthstone for 3 years now and pumped many hours into the game and on the whole, really enjoyed it. Yet for the last 3 weeks or so, Hearthstone has been very tiresome and boring. The meta is very stale and I personally have had enough of it
So downloaded Legends of Runeterra last night on my phone and spent pretty much all day on it. It's a lot to get your head round at first but have to say, initial thoughts are it is a very good card game.
Plus you are not having to farm coins to buy packs, hoping you will get a legendary, this game has a fantastic reward system, which gives you cards are you play and rank up
So just a suggestion for others like me who may fancy a change for a while.
I’m playing some cancer dh tempo. This gala rogue is playing badly. Like playing blackjack on turn 1 for tempo. I feel good because they have 3 life and I have metamorphosis in hand. But then they get the magic wand into full gala into full board 16/16 whatshisname and while I have 30 I can only get them to 1. And they have 31 dmg on the board.
Fukin Highlander Priest finds 4 Queen Alex in one game. Thats ridiculous and unfair. Cap it or something Blizzard, cuz if I lose another game to that kind of shit, Im done with this game. I played it perfect, was 3 cards ahead in fatigue, and then that shit happens. What ajoke. And they call some people "pros"ath this game. Yah right.
the amount of shennannigans is incredibly high, and turns the game into a shit show where the luckiest wins. Takes away from all planning and strategy when shit like this happens.
Im so mad to lose a 30 minute game that way. Especially cuz I play it good and plan ahead.
This game need huge nerfs to damage cards or at least buff all healing card by twice the amount.
If you power creeps offensive cards that's fine but do it for DEFENSIVE one as well.
Every taunt is officially a dead tag unless they have can't be targeted by spells', they're just delaying the loss but back in the day you could make a comeback with the right topdeck kek next turn, now it's close to impossible to have this feeling, too much card generation and damage never run out of resources.
I have a serious question. When there are 30 cards in a deck, and a HIGHLANDER deck has only 1 copy of each... How is it mathematically fucking possible for Highlander Hunter to have Zephrys, Brann, Zixor, AND Rotnest Drake (Discovered from Primordial Drake) on fucking curve every single fucking game? There are 30 cards in that deck, right? Or are there only 7 in that one?

Hey fellas, I need some help with why I was just frozen (playing Priest) while playing against the Lich King?
I had just completed the Frostmourne stage and there were only 2 slime taunts left from a couple of sludge belchers, a val'kyr shadowguard and a skeletal knight.
I had just ran out of cards and used a shadow word pain on the val'kyr and then dropped a holy nova to get rid of the 2 slime taunts. The knight was the only thing left and I was going to leave it and go face, but when the holy nova finished my 2 cards were frozen. The freeze took place as the holy nova was finishing off the two slime taunts.
I can't figure out what caused my cards to be frozen. The holy nova doesn't freeze, and none of the opposing cards I was dealing with did either. The skeletal knight was buffed with anti-magic shell, but that just gave him stats. His deathrattle just gives me a card so no freeze there.
The only thing I can surmise is so conspiracy theory related that you all would think me crack pot crazy.

Depending on how many cards are in your hand.
If you have a 9-card hand,
when it is about the first 5-10 turns,
it is over 1/3 chance you get any specific one of them,
and it is over 2/3 you get at least one of them.
(sorry I didnt calculate but it looks like this probable :P~~~)

Why does Zephrys not offer healing here? Only because I have a taunt minion and a freezing trap up? I even put myself to 3 mana for healing touch. Of course I was dead the next turn due to Glaivebound Adept and Metamorphosis.
How are you dead next turn? His cards cost 10 mana and he cant shoot the 5 damage, nor attacking face his turn. Freezing+Taunt ensure the win. So Zephrys gives you more burst in case your opponent clears something.
Forgot to show the turn before. He had Skull of Guldan and the Glaivebound was reduced to 2 mana. The replay does not show it.

Ah, that makes sense. In that case: Zephrys doesn't know what players hold in hands, so he thought it is more likely for you to kill him instead.
Pro streamers are permanently removed from the matchmaking system. Ever notice how they will say things like "I need X card now" and they draw it? The same algorithm that determines what ZTG offers you dictates the entire game. When you are removed from the system you get perfect cards. Who would want to watch pro streamers win 50% of their games like the rest of us? Blizzard makes sure that doesn't happen. You watch a streamer dominate with a deck. You build the same deck (Blizzard hopes you pay real money to add cards). You don't have anywhere near the success that the streamer had. This is because you are stuck in the matchmaking system and you don't always draw perfect cards on curve. Blizzard hopes that you think this is because you just aren't as good as the streamer and move on to another deck that will hopefully require you to pay real money again to add cards. This is a business after all. They don't make money off of people buying cards with free gold.
The meta is still really horrible right now. I know it gets harped on a lot in this thread but jesus, last game I had just now I was stable against a dh with two 4/4 lackeys and two other 2/2 minions and he had none on board with blades on hand. first turn he cleared minions with altruis, second turn (bearing in mind I'm at 19 HP) he managed to use priestess of fury which he reduced x2 earlier and held the buff, metamorph for the 5 dmg - with blades on hand and chaos strike. which led me to 2 hp with a 6/7 to clear.
No class in the game should be able to pull off these ridiculous stunts.
