I just spent 3 FUCKING turns searching for one of the 2 minions for a triple
3 WHOLE FUCKING TURNS, DOING NOTHING
I DIDN'T FIND A SINGLE FUCKING ONE
BLIZZARD YOUR FUCKING SMALL INDIE COMPANY, U CANT MAKE ONE ONE JUST FUCKING ONE GAME MODE THAT YOU NEED SKILL TO WIN? THAT U DONT LOSE DUE TO RNG? ONE FUCKING MODE?
Before I say this, I'm not one of those people that's going to claim that battlegrounds are 100% luck; there's definitely skill involved anywhere you'd make choices, like what minions you'd pick and where you'd place them.
But anywho, jeebus, the random aspects can be super frustrating. Just had a game where (besides a few rounds where the attack order was atrocious and I'd lose to 1-2 1 health minions) my final opponent had a golden Mama Bear (along with golden Infested Wolf and golden direhorn, the one with overkill)... at rank 5. Yep, between triple treats and possibly Zerus, they got 3 Mama Bears.
As well as that though, early Lightfangs for people - so annoying. It's such a brutal card if gotten early - +8/+8 per turn with no coin cost is huge - honestly, the main reason it doesn't do as well as mechs is consistency (same with basically every non-mech strat - mechs have a couple viable paths and a lot of good units, whereas most other strategies need 1 or 2 specific units to actually close out a game). Like, I literally had a game where I sold a golden Iron Sensei because normal Lightfang was better.

Skill said bye-bye to this game a long time ago. ZTG has proven what most of us have known for a long time - the game reads the board and gives you cards accordingly. Outcomes are determined before you even select a card. One player gets favorable RNG and the other doesn't. This is how they attract (and try to keep) new players - by making the games run on autopilot.
Really, fuck this trash. I'm not allowed to play, Opponents draw perfectly, their RNG is perfect, while I get crucial cards at the bottom of my deck. From 16 rank back to 20, thank you, Blizzard. It is especially funny when I get at the start of the game those cards I needed in my previous game and they just were at the bottom of my deck.
Blizzard and those perfect lethal top decks right when you are about to assume command of the game. Awesome. Gotta maintain that 50/50 win rate amirite?

Grammar is the difference between knowing your crap, and knowing you’re crap.
Just had a pretty salty game - went Brann (I know, top tier hero, certainly helped things) and up til tier 4 was going largely menagerie by default - just picking the best units I could, which happened to be all over the shop. Managed to triple up at tier 4, and got the beloved early Lightfang - so by the end of the game, my board was really nice (sort of - while I did get a Cave Hydra early after Lightfang, making for the top beast for it, the other three minions were basically vanilla). Anywho, top 3, and the only one of those top 3 to actually pose a challenge is 1 hit away from death. He has 2 Guardians and 2 poisonous Amalgams (one with DS) as the main threats - the Guardians aren't really threatening though, unless the Amalgams get too much value off their poisonous - but for some reason, the opponent has placed a weak taunt minion between the two, so if my Hydra hits it, it definitely kills one, and either kills the other or removes its DS.
First encounter - nope. I hit the DS'd Amalgam for minimal impact (popping the shield and killing the weak middle taunt). Other attacks aren't favourable, and I barely losely.
Second encounter - nope. Exact same thing - 1 in 9 chance of that happening. I lose to a single microbot. End up third due to health totals when the other person lost to a ghost. >.>
And gah, bad attack rolls are so darn annoying! Just lost to someone with double Lightfang (as in, I very likely would've lost to them eventually - my single Brann doubling battlecries can't keep up with dual Lightfang XD), but in this particular round I think I low rolled multiple times, and their final minion lived on 1 health.
Edit: and frack, just lose 30 health to 2 people with 3 Lightfangs between them. >.> I love getting the card and making it work, but it probably needs a nerf - it's super oppressive right now. If someone gets it early (rank 4 triple reward or Elise level up as was this case) it's soooo hard for most other strategies - even mech that isn't super high rolled - to keep up with the stat gain (assuming they don't die straight away; the one weakness of Lightfang is that you're vulnerable in the first few turns). Would making it 6 star be too prohibitive, or just right? Or is it fine to have it where it is as a check against mechs?
i love it when these fagg rogue players message you after they lose and be like "nice top deck n'zoth won u the game". especially when they play a deck that is completely reliant on random generated cards and rng.
I waited for dragon expansion. Priest got 3 dragons, one is trash, another one is trash without Galakrond cards and the last one is for late game. Also, there is no good neutral ones except Alexstrasza. It is disappointing I would say. Should not return back to HS I guess.
Finished last month at rank 3. Now I am stuck at 10 with the same deck. Guess I forgot how to play.
Fanboys will tell you that meta has evolved and that you're probably less concentrated than before. in short words, focus more on your plays and your mistakes! Watch the replay of your games and try to determinate how you could have played better!
Today I learned a pretty hard lesson - you can spend as much money as you wish on HS, but if you suck, you do really suck and not a single penny will help you climb the ladder :( I really have to make a pause and wait until 10th of Dec.
I was expecting to not see that many shamans on ladder today, but out of 7 games I faced 6 shamans and one rogue. I dislike shaman, it is too easy to complete.
just played a quest rogue mirror.
his random generated cards: frost bolt, fireball, truesilver champion, the storm bringer, earthquake
my random generated cards: sense demons, sacraficial pact, circle of healing, micro mummy, feral spirit
he gets 3 faceless lackeys on the board, stormbringer, gets rag, antonidas, krush, siamat, hogger and colossus of the moon.
me, alt-F4, uninstall.
fuck this rng piece of shit game
This game is a lot more fun when you treat it like a free-to-play mobile game you play on your phone while taking a shit.
Am I missing something?

Do you even know how it is to be salty?
