I've spent a significant amount of time compiling statistics of card values in Hearthstone after the new expansion. I have broken down stat lines, damage, restoration, battlecries, deathrattles, etc. on a per cost basis for every card in the standard set. I then took that a step further by calculating value if played "on curve" versus later in the game. I discovered quite a few cards that are surprisingly low average value that are played a lot and cards that are surprisingly high average value that nobody plays at all. I then took a deeper look into why such valuable cards were completely overlooked, and I discovered a common thread. Nearly ALL the high value "unplayed" cards are 8+ mana cards. After having this epiphony, I decided to compile statistics and data from various sources to ultimately determine why these cards aren't played and have finally, after weeks of research, discovered why...
According to the data, 74.6% of all situations those cards would be playable, they are already dead to a Waggle Picked Leeroy Jenkins.
i'm not sure if this post is serious or memeing but either way it's hilarious.
Warrior makes me want to stick two fingers in my mouth and vomit.
It's a sadistic class whose sole goal is to prevent others from playing/having fun/developing whatever strategy they're up to. You, you that are reading this venting post: if you play Warrior (I don't fucking care if it is on Ladder, Casual or even against the Innkeeper) you are a sad fuck.
Silly me that I thought that after Baku rotating the class would have been more fair to play against.

The fact that you're not sure illustrates my point. It was satire. However, the analysis part is 100% true. I did find some undervalued 8+ mana cards that are rarely played because they're "Too slow." That quite literally means people are not consistently surviving until turn 8 for the card to be playable. I suspect that's largely due to "Turn 8 Rogue." Glad you enjoyed the post, though.
This is so f lame. Priest is so awful omg... they should just disable the class ASAP or start the game with 40 HP at this point. Like the feuk, it's literally a walking Mass Hysteria class annnnd it's shit, we still need 3+ cards advantage to be "even" with opponent.
I just played an hour and 40 minute control warrior mirror and I was about to win in 2 or 3 turns with Mecha'thun but it ended in a draw because we hit the 90 turn timer. I've gotta say I feel like lynching myself right now
i recently just played control warrior, you know kinda tired of control warrior so ill try it myself
first game, queued against tess rogue with tak, shuffled 40 ACADEMIC ESPIONAGE CARDS, GET 2 DR BOOM HERO CARDS OUT OF 12 CARDS, SHUFFLED 13 COPIES OF BLINK FOX FROM TOGWAGGLE SCHEME, on top of that hes getting like every godlike cards you could imagine from blink fox LIKE 1 DR BOOM HERO CARD, 2 EXECUTE, 2 SHIELD SLAM, 1 GROM, 1 BRAWL, 1 WARPATH, and needless to say my soul was crushed by that game
move on to 2nd game, was against another warrior, bomb control warrior. he gets Dr boom turn 6, always get armor up and delivery drone, was 60+ health in total entire game and actually have elysiana in his deck. Well i run elysiana too and brewmaster to bounce her back, he (my opponent) was already at 2 fatigue when i used my elysiana. And then he used his elysiana AND ACTUALLY GET OMEGA ASSEMBLY. Now to top that, when he actually fall into fatigue with no elysiana left, while i still have 8 cards in my deck (2nd elysiana) HE ACTUALLY PULLED MECHATHUN , THE ONLY LAST CARD IN HIS HAND, MECHATHUN FROM ELYSIANA FUCKING OMEGA ASSEMBLY.
FUCK CONTROL WARRIOR FUCK THIS SHIT WASTED 1 HOUR OF MY TIME FOR NOTHING
I don't normally post in these type of threads or forums at all really but holy hell. Somewhat related to the last post, I just played a 40 minute control warrior mirror where my opponent was drawing A LOT and the only reason he won is because he got Grom TWICE off Elysiana on top of Deckhand, and I got the armor HP LITERALLY TWICE. Experience the sad
One thing I really despise in this game is the amount of cards, that generate random ones or do random things. I just lost to a rogue player @ 0 wins, just because of that BS Hench Clan pirate.
Thx Blizzard for supporting this aspect. Apperantelly our critique didn't matter at all.
people play 4 cards and win aganst me...i fckin turn at my deck and see that my last cards are godfrey 7 mana clear + 2 shadowflame + twisting nether + +4 health giving brood ...next game mulligan all of the aoe-s in my hand...
Fckin stupid and rewarding for emote spamming opponents....
Like why can't i draw 5 cards and win every game like these buffons....
Edit: what is with i always fckin get unspeakable russian names as opponents?...like no ALex or any english name just 39hrufsergnegnue893r9u3-s and others
I finally started MTGA and after 2 days of grinding I've decided thatat HS is DEAD 💀.....to me, almost gotcha harhar. Just too much randomness for me. With spending just 20us and grinding, my Homebrew deck has gotten me higher in rank than a semi-full collection in HS has. I love how much control you have over almost every interaction. It's not perfect, I know, but damn it's feelsgoodman. The only time I hate to lose is when it was RNG that beat me and not a skilled play/player did. And boy did HS get me going at times. So far I have faced the top 2 decks in ranked play and won both games. See anyone can netdeck but in MTGA you HAVE to KNOW HOW TO PLAY IT or you will lose a majority of the time. SKILLS bebe
theres actually a person asshole enough to INTENTIONALLY ROPES EVERY TURN. Literally every.goddamn.turn, never touching that end turn button, just wait until that rope burns out. I really hope blizzard would do something about this and actually implement punishment for people like this.
Just wanted to lay some salt down. Like to point out I am more of an aggro to midrange type of player. I enjoy playing more games as opposed to a long drawn out control match. That being said I would like to air my salt about control warrior, the people who play it and rope every turn, and the class/deck construction that it brings to match ups.
Essentially most of my matches against a warrior rely on them not drawing the early removal, obviously this doesn't happen a majority of the time as the deck is always centered around draw, stall, remove. Understandable, as previous control warriors of past were the same concept but always had more of an easier approach, in my opinion, to make strategic plays and overcome, or at least have a chance too.
The fact warrior has Shield Slams, Executes, Brawls, Warpath's, even constant removal of weapons via Weapons Project, and the Omega Devastators. The Weapons Project into Harrison is played in nearly every match, which completely deflates any tempo, and provides outstanding value for the warrior. I've seen a few posts on people mentioning Omega Devastator isn't that crazy since it is only active late game. Except these match ups will usually if not always be a late game due to the stall abilities to lead up to the infinite value that is Dr Boom Mad Genius, which I'll mention next.
Dr Boom Mad Genius... I thought I really enjoyed the addition of Hero Class cards but I have to say, this one really ruins it for me. The rush mechanic for mech's is nearly unmatchable tempo. Combine this with the Omega Devastator's it hits a minion for 10 and can rush another, and I mentioned my play style in the beginning so the likelihood a 4/5 with rush will likely be able to remove another board piece on my side. Find a mech hero power, I can't even begin to tell you how many times I have played against this scenario and called exactly when they'll discover, which always is back breaking. Be it more bomb generation via Clockwork Goblin or another Omega Devastator, this hero power is endless value that is RNG, yet what ever it pulls is value that will be able to put forth plenty of presence on the board.
How many times has a warrior played 2+ of their removal type mechs, be it Dyno-matic's or Omega Devestator's, for example. The generation between Dr Boom hero power and Omega Assembly it's nearly impossible to match or keep up with it.
I really enjoy playing in these open cups in tournaments and thought the previous rotation with Odd Warrior was frustrating to wait for to start the next round, but now these control warrior match ups have practically doubled the average time to flip rounds. I mentioned people enjoying control playstyles but I personally can't seen the enjoyment in playing your best of three matches and it takes over two hours to finish.
Yes, I anticipate more hate on this post than support but just wanted to air a little salt about this. I could go on more on specific match ups but, feel this is a decent start to my frustration facing this deck.

The only thing that feels worse than losing to fucking Tundra Rhino Hunters in casual is when Hearthpwn repeatedly reroutes to a spam ad site.
fucking casual

Too bad they got rid of casual.
I really wanted a mode where you could play a homebrew deck. Oh well.
edit: yall wouldn't believe it if i told you, just how well everyone else draws vs me. you'd think im making it up or exaggerating.
casual right now - big mage, mech hunter, lackey rogue, zoolock. 100% of games.

Holy fuck ... Why do I ever even try paladin in Arena anymore? Almost a laughable class
Facing mages in wild as jade shaman:
Tempo - I don't draw my ooze but Mojomaster Zihi instead.
Quest - I don't draw my Mojomaster Zihi but an ooze instead.
I'm not joking. Whenever I get an ooze in the mulligan stage and I decide to keep it, my opponent is NEVER a tempo mage. NEVER.
