they will release brawls and solo content eventually and you wont have cards to make optimal decks. also you limit yourself an entire gamemode. so unless youre fine with those things dont do it
DE Wild cards is a though decision and it depends on what kind of player you are.
For a try hard standard player who only cares about standard ranks it's probably the right decision to DE wild in order to get the best standard decks .
For a more casual player who just wants to "have fun" it's probably a terrible idea to DE any card except the most unplayable ones because there will come a day when you get bored of (standard) meta decks and would benefit to have something more fun to play .
Absolutely not. Every deck in wild is diverse and it a great way to take a break from the boredom that standard can cause. Not to mention most standard decks are 1000 times more fun in wild with wild cards. Its a really fun format overall and gets better with each expansion and as a wild player I would say keep the cards
Consider. You disenchant 16 legendaries in wild to make 4 legendaries in standard. Those 4 rotate, you disenchant them and now only have 1 legendary. Then that one rotates, and suddenly you went from 16 legendaries to 1 epic. Seems like a bad deal. Unless you are 100% certain you will never play wild, don't.
So look at it this way, you could keep your wild collection and save all the hard earned money and time you've put into this game and enjoy it from that side of things. Or you could DE everything for wild and get a fraction of dust for your hard work (about 1/4 of actual worth).
Then my guess is that you will take your miniscule amount of dust to standard where you'll make maybe 2 -3 viable meta decks. Which ultimately will convert to wild over time and then you'll get even less return for those cards once your ready to dust again.
Which option makes the most sense for your senario?
Wild is very difficult (if not nigh-impossible) for a F2P new player to get into, but as you said, you've been around since the early days and have tons of Wild cards, which I am assuming means you have all adventures.
That puts you in a pretty good stead to play Wild semi-seriously. Most of the essential Wild cards are from adventures anyway...there's a few things from GvG that are playable like Mal'Ganis and Lightbomb, and TGT is probably the worst set Hearthstone will ever see so you don't have too worry much about those cards.
If you're really a long-time playing F2P player, Wild makes the most economic sense. You can make some solid decks and just add a few extra cards to them each expansion...rather than having to completely gut or destroy your decks every time a rotation comes.
What are the pros and cons of Disenchanting all wild cards?
Should I also DE adventure cards?
1) I never played wild
2) I consider myself casual player
3) I have spent under $100 USD in this game
4) I have tons of wild cards, I started before first adventure came out.
Short answer: No. Long answer: Noooooo!
Seriously, you will really regret it - few people who dust their entire collection / wild or standard collection are glad they made that decision later down the line. Most of the time you will discover your deck options are now really small and limited. And you never know if a card in your collection will suddenly become super powerful.
It's your decision of course, but be warned that it can cripple your whole collection by doing that!
Don't DE. When i start to play i also thought that i will play only standard and didn't buy LoE and BM adventures while they were still available. Later i understood that stundard is suck, start to play awesome wild and had to craft those sexy adventure Legendaries with dust (before they anounce posibility to buy adventures in a blizzshop).
I went with a compromise. I also never play wild, but it turns out some of the old cards come in really handy for some tavern brawls or to beat some of the PvE content. So I disenchanted one copy of everything, and no legendaries (except Majordomo, because he sucks).
Haven't regretted it yet. And got enough dust for some new epics and one or two legendaries.
i have d/e all my wild card so far and i dont realy regret it, my thought is if i keep the wild card i wont be able to keep up in Standard. im just like you, i dont pay much for this game.
but thats just me
But you are wasting all the resources you worked for. Dust value diminishes, which means what was once 1600 to make is now 400 in return. In that logic you actually do the exact opposite of "keeping up" and will have to work harder for dust/gold. Or pay for more standard packs. Ben Brode loves you standard obsessed players
It's only ever worth dusting non-duplicate cards when they are either golden (in some cases) or post-nerf when you can get the full value. Otherwise, you are only hampering your own progress really.
I would suggest you not to d/e Wild cards. Standart meta is boring for some time now filled with mostly top tier decks. Wild competetive and normal games are more variable and unpredictable, there is some old good decks that are still played there till now, but the population is not as huge as it is in Standart format. From my point of view it is much healthier and gives much for fun. Since I am person who doesn't spend much on this game to keep up with meta I found it a good place to play, chill and have some fun plus I like to play with variety of decks and use non-meta cards or architypes from time to time. Ol'good Naxxramas expansion and BRM with dragon tech is probably my favorite so its really fun to play with those cards. Ultimately its up to you, but playing Wild format with old cards from time to time or just focusing it as main laddering format is good choise not to get totaly bored or pissed of Standart repetitive matches all the way.

Haven't all these Tyrandes on ladder threaten you enough? She is wise Priestess of Elune after all, you should probably listen to her words.
Wild is the superior format. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.
Wild is fun on the bun, my friend.

Just be smart about it. Go ahead and dust Maexxna and Rend Blackhand...don't dust Reno Jackson.
Don't disenchant the cards. You will get a surge of dust from the nerfs this week and HoF'ed cards in a couple of months anyway.
Long answer: Noooooo!
To many people walked this way and instant regrets came later. Don’t DE your colection, try Wild instead.
Where shall I start...
Don't DE.

No, end of the discussion ! ^^
There is no cancer deck in hearthstone ! You are the Cancer !

You must be a blast at social gatherings... :-P
