Please blizzard please put in an option to mute always.
I'm a cry baby I know, but I hate the emote system. I assume it wasn't intended to be a trolling tool, but that is what it has ended up becoming.
And while were at it, only allow concede at the beginning of your turn, or during the opponents turn. It's not too much fun watching a person play their hand, rope me, then concede.
The concede rule is idiotic. Why should I sit around while you complete your combo that I know is coming, especially considering 99% of the time you will rope and spam emotes at me before finishing me off?
I'd prefer custom emotes so I can tell people who unnecessarily fill their board with cubed doomguards when they only need one to kill me so i can tell them what I really think: "fuck you, asshole"
You can't deny people the option to concede when they wish. Victory should be enough - no need to force someone to watch themselves get demolished (and many players unfortunately would use it for extended BM).
Having said that, I wouldn't object to an option that would let you continue to make your moves after the opponent had conceded and left. I suspect though that for many that would have no appeal if it's not making someone else feel bad :(
Well the community is in bad shape if i'm the 15,001 person wanting the game to automatically block emotes. It just sucks that "Well Played" and "Thank You" are curse words in Hearthstone.
I was not clear with the concede issue, my intention is to reduce the loser playing his whole hand and roping, and then conceding.
Hey we would all love an auto-squelch function. Never going to happen though :3

The queue for the people who want an auto-mute function in Hearthstone? Sure. It's the one over there that stretches out the door and down the street. :-P
Seriously, this is the quality of posts on this forum nowadays?
"People saying 'Thank you' to me hurts my feelings so bad, and the two clicks it takes to prevent it gives me RSI. Therefore, it's Blizzards responsibility to protect my feelings from the 'Well Played'ses and 'Wow'ses by revising their censorship solution altogether"

Just get on with your life, snowflake.
This is the quality of people's responses these days? Someone requests a change that literally hundreds of people have previously also requested (so obviously a popular idea) and you respond with just random and unecessary insults? Classy. /smh
I'm starting to think all this people asking for an auto-squelch option live under a cave or in a mountain far away from society (and for some reson they still have internet to play Hearthstone :P)... Society is full of jerks, so if they were normal people they would be never be affected by someting like this, real life hurts much more than some stupid emotes from a video game.

No my dear friend, not everyone would love something like that, many people like me don't give a shit about having an auto-squelch function in the game.

It was only highlighting the bigger picture to OP, albeit in admittedly flippant terms. Frankly, I couldn't care less if an auto-mute function is added or not.
My point is that OP only hates the emotes because of the implications of when they're used. Well so fucking what? Grow a pair. Not worth rushing off to hearthpwn to complain about it. Besides, there's a mute function already. Just takes 2 clicks to do it. It's not like you don't have time to do it - Just mute them in that time you're staring at your screen with nothing else to do than wait for them to inevitably rope out on turn 1.

But surely you would agree there is a difference between "not wanting such a feature" and "not caring about such a feature"? (Serious question) In particular, if you didn't care and it was added, you still shouldn't care, since it hasn't affected you at all? The only reason someone would actively not want this feature, is if they liked the option of upsetting the opponent by spamming emotes or using them in an otherwise negative manner and don't want them removed. Which is part of the point - that they aren't being used for their intended purpose. (in my opinion)
Fair enough. Quite a few people would like it then. To each their own.

I don't care about degoldenizing cards in arena, about different card backs, and many others, but some people do so I'm glad these are in the game.
But yes, I don't like emoting morons, which there are more than plenty in HS, so I would like the option to mute them automatically.
And no, it is not "just two clicks". You're being at least silly if you says so. It is "two unnecessary clicks every game". Would it be OK to have to press the "Play" button three times before every game, because reasons? I mean, come on, this is "just two clicks" right?
Please blizzard please put in an option to mute always.

Thanks,
Because it's SOOOO hard to click twice! Seriously this has been brought up like 15,000 times... get over it.

I can see the benefits of the option of an auto squelch option, but at the same time it makes the game even less social than it already is.
OK I'm the 15.002 person, for me emotes are stupid. I don't want to interact with my opponent, lets just play and no more see each other.

Auto squelch. That's all I'm asking for.
It just makes sense for them to implement it regardless how you feel about emotes.
