The higher in Rank you go, the lower the player pool to match up against. So it was likely a function of both of you searching for a game at that time and being close in the hidden MMR that Blizzard uses.
he is legend 12000. He is bad as a rank 10 player lol
That's complete bullshit and you know it, right? When I get legend I climb up seriously and then I start playing meme decks. For example, I got legend this month again and it put me into the 7k bracket or whatever, climbed up to 2k and now I dropped back to the bottom after playing control pally and other funky decks.
Your statement is absolutely incorrect. I've seen Savij and the likes being legend rank 6k as well, just because they are having fun. Not everyone is a tryhard, especially once they get legend.

At this point in the meta legend is rife with people who saw a deck that was doing well and rode on its back to the top. Rank is 20% skill, 60% decklist, and 20% RNG. Be careful how highly you think of players in legend.

2k Top Player kek
Huh? Don't get your comment, really I don't? You think I'm showboating with 2k? I just gave you an example. Freaking noobs everywhere downplaying other people just cause they suck..Rank 10 player KEK.
because you don't know how matchmaking works just like everything else
^ This. How a guy that has been here on Hearthpwn for so long finds something like this strange? Is this your first time playing at high ranks scorpyon? Really???

He has to find something to meet his quota of threads per day.
It happens, although I'm surprised it's standard since unlike wild the legend playerbase isn't limited to 200-1k players every season.

I'm playing at rank 3 and I beat a Legend player. How did I get matched up with him? o.O
There was a guy who hit Legend then purposely lost 200+ games in a row just to see if he could play a Rank 25 player while being Legend. The video of it is on YouTube. It is slightly hilarious to see.

Says the guy trying trying to meet his quota of pointless comments on thread per day!! XD Someone's bored and jealous! That's cute! Heh!

No, but its first time I've met another legend player below rank 1 in fairness. (I don't play Wild much like, ever)
Believe it or not, even with my experience over the years there are still things I've not yet seen. It happens. I can't know everything... ;-)

at least it's harder for you to spread misinformation in your own threads. If someone else made this thread without a screenshot you would be saying it wasn't possible.
No need to respond, just put me on ignore and move on. I know you can't deal with people who point this stuff out.
This stuff actually happens all the time. Rank 1s get constantly matched with legend players. I have to assume you haven't climbed very much.
I hit Legend for the first time this month and had quite some luck the last 5 games when I steamrolled to Legend and the last 3 games were against legend-players.

I'm actually usually happy to be matched against legend players at ranks 1-2-3 because they're usually low legend and not T1 decks

Same way I saw a rank 3 at rank 13 on first day of the season.
