I've played a lot of priest, from a half-dozen different archetypes, and I've realized something: psychic scream isn't that great. Sure, it's a powerful removal tool, but it's often too slow to succeed against aggro, and against control, filling your opponent's deck with late-game threats is a terrible idea. Yes, it can be great, but it's often a unusable, which means it's an inconsistent card. No need of a nerf there

I think that Priest just doesnt need such a removal. Some decks are not going to survive on late game versus priest even without Psychic Scream, so whats the point of it. Give Hunter some removal instead of priest...
My vote would be dark pact and carnivorous cube. Dark pact is basically "heal a ton of damage, summon 2 doomguards/voidlords" for 1 mana. I can't count how many games I lost where I had a big lead and it just dissolved because of one 1 mana card.
The devs always manage to ruin every expansion with at least 1 or 2 dumb decisions, that's why these types of posts always exist. Seriously, Highlander Priest should have never existed, there is nothing fun about getting machine gunned down without any interaction. Great job you dumb pieces of garbage at blizz

They completely neglect adequate in-between-expansion balancing and adjusting, and just let problem decks/cards remain untouched, degrading the meta for way too long. It's bad enough that some of these obviously broken cards get printed in the first place, but to have them remain untouched by balance and adjusting for months makes it even worse. They're also fairly inconsistent with their balance choices whenever they do get around to nerfing this or that once in a blue moon.
I love HS, but unless Blizzard starts to balance their game better...I might be just sticking to casual mode going forward. I'm tired of priests (all builds), and I might stop supporting the game with real money if things don't change soon.
Why won't Blizzard buff cards, to help keep the meta fresh(er)? HS could be so much better if Blizzard was not lazy about their balance patches.
Gnegnegne... Stop crying for every fckin card! They should nerf all the decks in the game so we can play with textless vanilla minions ... Oh no wait, then you will ask to nerf hero powers, and then what?
Brats have been crying like this for years, same old story! There will always be broken cards and decks, that's how Blizzard makes money, they don't give a shit about balance. If you are not ok with this leave the game.

It’s huge in velen combo decks. It allows priest to stall for the combo, and is a bad card. Ice block for priests.
it's not about tears or fears. We all spent money and time on the game just to have fun. If the game become frustrating because of L4m3r cards, is legit to complain about it. Giving constructive advices can help the future development of the game.

agon_EU, there are plenty of non-vanilla cards that are perfectly fine but are completely unviable because of the broken cards. That's what we're "crying" about. Wanting a game you like to play to be balanced and more fun to play isn't unreasonable.
But I'm sure blizzard really appreciates you sticking up for their lazy ass developers. I'm sure you'll get rewarded for being their lapdog eventually.
None of the above should be an option I the poll... The cards are strong, also why they are epic or legendary. But it is nothing which can be played around or have its drawbacks.

Name some of the drawbacks to most of these cards. I'll wait.
Psychic scream basically resets the game and usually leaves your opponent at a tremendous hand-size disadvantage with very little disadvantage to you.
Voidlord would be a bad card if there weren't like 5 different easy ways of either cheating them out or bringing them back and effectively kill any tempo deck unless you can kill the warlock by turn 6, and good luck with that thanks to dark pact. Where's the drawback?
Call to arms I shouldn't even have to explain why it's broken. Where's the drawback to filling your board full of stuff on turn 4?
Where's the drawback to a 0 mana 5/5 that you can instantly reclaim the board with after your opponent clears your stuff?
Where's the drawback to voidform? How do you play around 30+ damage to the face in one turn?
There are tech cards that you can partially "play around" these cards, but you can only include so many techs before your deck is just trash against everyone else. Even running 2 spellbreakers probably won't save you against warlock if they get the right draw, and I can count on one hand where I dirty ratted a raza out.
The only reason I can think of why someone would say something like that is that you use all/most of these cards and rely on them to win and don't want to see them changed.
None of the above should be an option I the poll... The cards are strong, also why they are epic or legendary. But it is nothing which can be played around or have its drawbacks.
What people fail to realize is that it's not just about how good certain individual priest cards are. Yes, if priest ONLY had access to dragonfire potion, scream, death, pain, kazakkus, raza or anduin, the class wouldn't even be that good. The thing is, the combination of having removal for literally everything, some of the best life gain tools in the game right now(spirit lash + spell power and greater healing potion) and THE best burn potential in the game just makes the class busted. You can play around one broken card, but you can't play around an entire deck made up of broken cards.
In wild, it's actually even worse. When I pick up Reno Priest, I often spend many games actually being able to choose which removal to use in each situation out of a possible 3 or 4 cards which would all clear the board(Lightbomb, Psychic Scream, Dragonfire, Excavated Evil plus whatever broken card I got from kaza). On the off chance the opponent manages to not get ouvalued by all of them(never happened so far) he still needs to kill me twice due to me having access to reno on top of it, and he needs me to not draw raza and anduin and just kill him before then too.
If this is not the entire definition of a broken deck, I don't know what is.
None of the above should be an option I the poll... The cards are strong, also why they are epic or legendary. But it is nothing which can be played around or have its drawbacks.

Okay so lets start. Psychic Scream is a great board clear as you mentioned. But is is the card played when you don't have any individual answers to the board state. It does not kill any minions, just puts them back in the deck, ie still a possible thread. Playing agains the likes of Aggro Paladin, Jade Druid, Warlock getting those cards back onto the board is just a matter of draw, spells, or other "cheats". In the end, the priest will still have to deal with it. So yah, a strong card, but not in any way in need of a nerf. Just don't puke your whole hand on the board playing against priest, and you can do fine.
Voidlord Super taunt, no question asked. The problem as you so call it is not the card but the Mechanics around it. And yah it stops any tempo deck as a taunt should. Drawback, have you ever played Cubelock? getting Voidlords and Voidwalkers back with Guldan instead of Doomguards sucks. If anything were to change here then look into the other cards surrounding it. Dark pact would be fine only healing 5, still the same as sacrificing a demon, but the 1 mana cost is for any minion onset of 0 for tribe.
Call to Arms Get taunt or board clear... The strength of this cards comes solely because it a super tempo swing. and it is a good answer to Psychic Scream. Value comes in tribe effects (murloc) or due to a Taunt/divine shield combo.
The Creeper... yah that one is a little op. but honestly I still think there is worse cards out there... looking at you bonemare
Voidform is fine, it is not Hero power which is broken, it is the combination with Raza. But it is a combo deck, just like quest mage. You need to get the pieces and you need not to have the opponent fuck with it. Ran the darkness in my own Raza deck just for the lulz. I have never had more turn 5 concedes in a mirror.
For you last comment with tech and how much you can substitute... You can have a deck which is good agains everting...
And yes I use all of these cards, but I also understand what they work agains and what they do not work against. Non of these cards in any deck in any combination is a silver bullet which lets you win... And remember as much as one starts with raza in hand, as much can he be in the bottom of your deck
None of the above should be an option I the poll... The cards are strong, also why they are epic or legendary. But it is nothing which can be played around or have its drawbacks.

The fact that the card shuffles the cards into the opponent's deck is very, very rarely a factor, and even when it is, it's usually an upside. If you're using the card, odds are you will be shuffling multiple early/mid game cards into their deck, which you do NOT want to be drawing in the late game. Also, you can claim that the card does not offer any long term value due to the nature of it's effect, but the thing is, priests don't need to get long term value like they did with their old deck builds. All they need is to delay the game long enough that they assemble their 1/2 turn kill combo, and then kill you(this is true not only for Highlander, but also for the inner fire builds that have been popping up recently).
Now obviously, there will be the very, very odd game where you shuffle an antonidas or medivh back into their deck, and they draw it again and kill you with it, but those games are very few and far between compared to the scenario where your paladin opponent draws their 1/1 silver hand recruits and proceeds to smash his keyboard against the wall.
Oh, and please don't mention fatigue. Priest decks do NOT care about putting their opponent ahead on the fatigue race.
TL;DR: Scream is 99% of the time a better version of twisting nether(a card that sees play in most control warlock builds), since it also removes deathrattle cards without the DR activating. It also costs one less mana. Please come again on how such a card is not broken?
"I am disappointed on how this game turned today. Everyone plays the same decks, we know. But... why?"
IMHO Some of the new cards should not have existed...
"I'd like to to see something that doesnt exaust the players to extend the games" - Voidlord
I think that slow down the meta with Three Taunt 1/3 is an horrible way to make the game funnier or even more enjoyable.
"Throwing every shit from you desk to the window isn't a good way to clean your room" - Psychic Scream
Probably, the upcoming Priest AoE spell will cost your opponents life points instead of your mana.
"Skill based cards that make me an happy nihilist" - Call to Arms
That's what I call a beautiful mistake. Even if your drunk, you can still play this card. Maybe Murlocs were not enough for aggro paladin?!
"If you can deal 50 damage in one turn with your hero power, playing Corridor Creeper at 0 mana is fine" Voidform
Raza is not a problem, the hero power is. Awkward refresh system that does not allow you to stop it. No hero deserve that kind of fire power.
So it was meant to be fun, right?
