No real new ideas (what about Old Gods, three class cards, Quests, DK ...)
Very poor new mechanics, not used too much (recruit, Spellstones)
Just three very good cards (Corridor Creeper in every deck, Call to Arms in all Paladin Decks, P.Scream in all Raza decks), a few good cards used quite often (the librarian, the minstrel, the mage secret) a few cards good in specific decks (the control warlock package) ... and not too much more
Aggro decks still leading ... with very few changes (just one or two cards) vs previous expansion
Overall 90% of the new cards can be easily dusted / forgotten ...
Honestly, no it is not. And we get a thread like this for every expansion. Do not try to say that the expansion only released 3 good cards. Hell a lot of Cubelock's cards are actually from this expansion. Also Elven Minstrel and Dire Mole are in most Rogue and hunter decks respectively.
The worst expansion in terms of power level is probably The Grand Tournament. However the worst expansion in terms of its effect on the metagame is probably Mean Streets Of Gadgetzan. MSOG may have done the most damage to the metagame because that expansion has Patches, Jades, Raza and Kazakus and it is responsible for three of the most oppressive decks we have had in hearthstone (Pirate Warrior, Jade Druid, Razakus Priest).
The thing about Kobolds and catacombs is that there are actually some pretty decent cards in there especially the commons. The problem is they can't breathe in this metagame. The top decks are too oppressive.
Maybe branch out a bit and try some new decks instead of cut and pasting the most popular decks and you’ll see that at least half of the spellstones are usable in various decks, every weapon (except maybe shammy) can be put into decks, and the vast majority of class legendaries have niche applications or better. Recruit is being used extensively and you’re acting as if Cubelock didn’t completely define and alter the meta for a few weeks while still going strong in whatever tier it’s been placed. The expansion is fine abd probably has some of the most new cards used in decks out of all expansions. Now please end this useless thread.
Every expansion is equally shit, because every expansion creates a subset of cards with broken synergies that the so-called top tier and meta decks cheat off until they are nerfed.
The truly sad thing is that 75% of players are dumb enough to pay real money to buy card packs to make copy-paste netdecks to grind so they can "compete". The game is a total fucking con. Play a top tier deck and hope you draw well: that's it.
Take a look at the 16 players competing in the world champs - pretty much EVERY one brought a Cubelock and a Razakus Priest, then typically a Jade Druid and some sort of aggro rogue. Best players in the world with the choice of every possible Hearthstone card... all playing minor variations of the same decks, decks that they will lose to if they don't bring them...
Game is a massive pile of shit. Long as you realise this and don't waste money on it and stop taking it all so seriously. Legend = grind a broken meta deck.

To be more precise, about 75% of all cards are worthless. Out of the 130~ cards, only something around 35 become part of good decks or are generally good cards worth keeping, which is roughly 25%. But when you carefully examine the expansions, you'll notice that this is true for every expansion, and the quota goes down as expansions get older. For example, many of the C'Thun cards were really good when WOG came out, but C'Thun is outdated by now and will likely never have a comeback in Wild.
As for the quality, KnC is neither the weakest set (TGT) nor the most frustrating meta (MSG). In addition to that, the rotation happening with the next expansion will change Standard so much it is entirely possible that "failed" archetypes and disregarded cards get a new chance to be strong. It's still too early to say just how good or bad KnC really is.
Nope, not even close. In terms of what the expansion did to the game Mean Streets was the worst, and in terms of not hyping the comunity up and overall having underpowered cards it would be the grand tournament.
The theme is cool, arts are nice, and many cards are interesting.
Some things are broken, as usual, but the main responsible is KFT, with DK and Mares.
The worst expansion imo stays Gadgetzan, were potentially broken and polarising things (Highlander, Jades, Pirates) were introduced in an already dangerous meta (Aggro Warrior), on top of horrendous class themes (Jade again, but also Goons, with the exception of Pirates, arr!).
I am quite disappointed by K&C

Is this just my feeling ? Tks

Well atleast you don't main warrior OOF
NO.
I must admit it's the first time after an expansion I didn't struggle before crafting some new cards...
Overall, epics are OK but Legends are rather weak.
Y'all homies always say this every expansion, you better not play hs. Thank you.

I still like it.

Locked.
