So before anything else post your worst experiences to make me feel less tilted :D
I started playing tempor rouge 6 hours ago and jumped back and forth on rank 8. Since i had a quest i jumped to my very own big priest variant to get 5 wins..a few wins and losses later still on rank 8 seeing no way to break trough i decided to turn to the deck i hate the most and build the cubelock. Crafted Rin for it seeing how i suddenly faced a lot of mirror matches and thought rin might help. Lost nevertheless and jumped to hunter finally before after 6 hours of struggeling in rank 8 i finally fell back to 9.
Thats it no more ladder for me this months. Tilted beyond repair for this season....anyone had similiar experiences?
Oh man, that's rough! Mine isn't anywhere as near as bad, because it wasn't on the ladder, but my worst experience recently to make you feel less tilted: been struggling to complete Dungeon Run on Warrior for days. Been a little busy and distracted leading up to the holidays. Finally on a break, settle down at family's place over the holidays, and I get within lethal of King Togwaggle.....and the wireless goes out. No joke. I've been here for 6 days and it hasn't skipped a beat since. And I still haven't won with Warrior. *face palm*
Hope that brings you a little laugh and makes you feel a little better. Sorry about your crazy rank 8 tilt....I hope the Tavern Brawl will be fun tomorrow so you at least have a little ladder distraction!
Been stuck in 15-11 bracket all season. I haven't failed to make rank 5 in quite some time, but this season, its just not happening. Hell, pick a reason ... Opponent seems to always draw the nuts, while I can somehow get the worst possible draws. Every other match is a mirror match .. .doesn't matter what deck I play, my opponent is playing the same one. 3 wins, lose, 2 wins, lose, 3 losses .... can't gain traction at all. Played every top tier deck, and get my ass handed to me. Best win streak I have had all season came from a Shaman meme deck! Started the season with the intention of playing Big Priest ... I think I put Barnes in there ... I couldn't say for sure, because he never seems to show up (except for every time I play Shadow Essence, in which case he is a guaranteed pull).
Tilted doesn't even begin to describe it .....

I wanna glide down, over Mulholland I wanna write her, name in the sky I wanna free fall, out into nothin' Gonna leave this, world for awhile
Just play control lock, not the cube list,it destroys every aggro, sure you lose to raza priest if you're not lucky with gnomeferatu/dirty rat,but it destroys every other deck and the aggro matchup are more common than raza.
So easy to get legend this month. try it
what's your cntrl-lock looking like? I don't have any gnomeferatu, but probably have everything else.

Problem I had with Control Warlock was ... 27% of my games were against Warlocks ... so they ended up being 20+ minute games, usually ending in a fatigue win or loss by a couple HP. 15% of my games were against Priest, and like you said .. that's a toss up match .. and 17% were mage, which is also kind of a coin toss, depending on what brand of mage you get.
I know a lot of people say it is time for a tin foil hat, but I swear they are doing some kind of MMR in constructed now. It seems more obvious than ever. Play a deck that just crushes aggro, and I get 6% Paladin.
But, yes. Control Warlock probably is the best deck right now for general laddering, with the big drawback being long games. It will most likely be what I start next season with, just because I think it has the bast chance to rank up with ... it's just going to take longer.

Which kills me because I dusted everything warlock, just before kolbolds release. Lol.
I was stuck at rank 10 pretty much the whole month, mostly because I was facing 40% Raza priest and just couldn’t beat it no matter what I played. After hundreds of games I finally got lucky (or stopped getting screwed) and got a stretch of about 20 games in a row with zero priests. And then it was easy. I went like 16-4 and winstreaked my way into rank 5. So sometimes it just takes playing until the tables finally turn in your favor.

Ps: normally i reach rank 5 regularly
Sounds like you're just stuck. It happens to me to some degree every month, sometimes at multiple points. Sometimes it's just too frustrating, and if so that's fine: It's not as though anyone but you cares much whether you make R5.
I would say, though, that if you have some time to play between now and the end of the month, you should go back to it. Work on a golden if you don't have them all--just pick a deck and convince yourself you don't give a shit and press the button. Focus on wins not stars. Especially at the end of the month, it's not hard to catch a streak and go from 8 to 5 in one night.
I spent the entire day attempting to climb between 15-10. I can usually hit 10 easy with a few hours easy.
This meta is probably the most cancerous I've seen ever. Mainly the problem is MSOG cards compiled with all the new cards. I'm sorry but I will rant for a sec here: A card should not be an auto include because it thins decks and allows insane turn 1 or burst combos. You know what card I'm talking about: Patches. It's literally the WORST (balanced) card they've ever printed, and if they print another one like that I'm taking my money elsewhere. A card that, despite it looking like it should only be for pirate tribe decks, is thrown into any deck with 2-3 random pirates is problematic. Recruit as a keyword for tutor cards is fine, Patches is not.
Wanna know why cubelock is at the top of the meta? Recruit+Dark Pact. It functions just like patches except it pulls either a 5/7 Charge, or a 3/9 Taunt. Warlock is as oppressive this season as Jade Druid was 2 seasons ago. (and partly last season). You simply can't win with nearly any other control deck except maybe priest decks. You're only option aside from that is pure aggro decks. This creates a polarized environment where mid-range and combo decks can't exist.
I'm hoping that the next standard cycle makes this better. I like the cards released in Kobolds, but there's far too many strong decks out there. I think this is inherently a problem as this is the first standard year with 6 full sets (as opposed to mixed sets/adventures from the previous standard year). I know people think "More cards=more variety" but....take a look at the current meta and please tell me how much variety you see? Cause all I see are Warlocks battling Priests, with a smattering of aggro hunter/paladin/druid thrown in.
I was struggling last week with both aggro druid and aggro taunt druid decks that I used to get to 5 during KFT. After getting the few new cards in the version that has the highest winrate this month on HSReplay, I climbed from 13 to 5 with nearly 80% winrate, most of that yesterday. I highly recommend taking a look at all the highest winrate decks on HSReplay and seeing which ones you can play or afford. I used to only get decks from this site, but seeing winrates averaged across thousands of games has been more useful for me.
It is because of tryhards netdecking tiers 1 even at low ranks. It is full of those pathethic assholes even in casual. To be more precise, raza, cubelocks and secret mages. Those lifeless cunts infesting the ladder are the ruin of the current meta/expansion. But anyway, keep trying, you will ventually reach what you are trying :)
Dont worry bro, i usually get tilted after 1 loss xD
Im on r14, i did not lose a single game this season, but i just dont want to play ranked because its the most annoying shit ever for me. i get really angry when some BS happens. sure it happens a lot more in causal, but at least there i dont give a flying fvck because i can just concede and it doesnt have a drawback.
I think i cant handle the stress this game gives to me tho xD i usually hit my desk or my bed when my opponent does some crazy ass shit that swings the game to his side, which is pretty normal, i know, but i hate it in ranked :D

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play. How about a nice game of chess?
I tilt after like 3 or 4 losses. Don't feel bad OP

Fair enough - I just wanted to share in the Wargames reference not all forum readers would have gotten :)
.
take a break OP! get some air and some food and try again you know the rules
