You mean, rogue priest and pally, everything else is aroud rank 5+. Check the streams @ twitch, everyone with the same classes, few druids. Shammy, warrior, mage, unseen.
After every expansion these threads pop up like a mushrooms after the rain. xDDDDD Im sure this meta is waaay worse than *insert another meta eg shaman* xDDD
Definitely about 5 classes that are popular right now with druid starting to pick up some steam.
Saying mage is unseen is actually crazy. Secret mage is really popular.
Oh, i just noticed you linked the popularity wheel from the front page, which has nothing to do with what's being played. You just found a pie chart, and assumed it told you the story of whats going on. Geeze how embarassing. Maybe they should take that off the front page so people like you don't get confused. Don't worry though, making stuff up is a great way to make a point.
If you want to argue about class balance you might actually want to use facts to explain your reasoning. Like look at this
I'm at rank 7 and see pretty much Rogue, Priest, Paladin, Huntard and Warlock. Every once in a blue moon a secret mage sneaks in. No shaman...no warriors...rarely a druid too.
Mage is the third most popular class at all ranks, due to both the aggressive Secret Mage and the control-style Big Spell Mage.
At Legend, the class diversity does get slightly smaller, but pretty much every class is competitive except for Warrior and Shaman. In every meta there's been at least one class that's tough to use if not 2. But the thing is, both Warrior and Shaman CAN be and HAVE been used to lots of success.
Shaman, the least used class, was very recently used by CitizenNappa to hit top 5 legend in Standard:
Pirate Warrior is still popular too -- for a good deck list, look to Karomizu's Pirate Warrior, considered by most top players as the standard and most effective list. Big Warrior is viable as well, pro player Seven was able to take it the top legend spot earlier in K&C -- list below.
No class is dead just yet this expansion, and there is definitely no need for any rash buffs or nerfs some players are asking for. This meta is shaking out to be as balanced or even more balanced than metas we've had for a long time. Feel free to try and correct me if I'm wrong.
Blizzard turn the game into something alwful, that never happened b4. How do we fix that?
#discuss.
One note for you OP: if u want to start a meaningful discussion on the subject, u might want to provide some actual statistics to back your claim and not the distribution of created decks on hearthpwn, which doesnt rly relates to how the meta looks like :) It might corelate with it, since ppl will most likely create more decks for the currently strong classes, but thats about it ;-)
Your personal experience is irrelevant because not enough data is collected. And a cute pie chart from THIS WEBSITE about decks BUILT (not always played) on this website, is too niche to be relevant. Information from Stat Gathering sources (like the Vicious Syndicate that a few folks linked), now that's relevant date.
Remember when Purify was released in One Night in Karazhan? Pretty much everyone said that Priest sucked. It did suck. It was completely unplayable. Oh but Shamans had Flamewreathed Faceless.
As a the meta rotates, those on bottom get a chance to shine. Just quote this to the class on top: Oh my how the tides have turned Let's review, what have we learned? You were great, but now we swapped So kiss this bottom I'm on the top!
Can't say I wrote that, cuz I didn't, the song just keeps going through my head. :P Thought it fit pretty nicely.
What I'm saying is that, coming April 2018, a new set will be released (and standard will rotate) and we'll get a whole slew of new things to complain about.
The game is always changing. If you don't like it, be patient. It'll change.
Can we please ban everyone who makes threads like this? They offer nothing of value to a community except for complaining.
I beg to differ, the people who should be banned our the ones like you, who do nothing but complain. In stead of put input into the discussion. It is a forum meant for discussion. Maybe the op only seems to to see only like 3 type of decks, and was wondering what is everyone else experience.

I did not write it thrice. I do not think it is fair you decided to quote me three times. Here is my tribute to Hearthpwn:
Now tell me again I ‘do nothing but complain’. I commented here because threads like this should be closed instantly because they, by definition, belong in the salt thread. They are not allowed to keep making duplicate threads with complaints about topics already discussed twenty times since Kobolds and Catacombs release.
Quote you 3 times was a misclick. But as for your opinion. Not everyone has seen every thread that was made and has a question on their mind, so they make the thread. Not everyone knows about the salt thread.........and not every angry question belongs in it. Just because people are mad when they post a salty thread in a form of a question, doesn't mean it should not be discussed. Plus salt thread is bs in the first place. Maybe the first few hundred replys were answered.......now it is just for venting with not much answering. If you want an answer, no matter how salty the question is, you need to create a new thread. So you can actually get an answer. I rather have heated discussions rather then no discussions............Just my opinion.
Apart from playing against OTK builds that you can't tech against unless you put cards in your deck that make you lose to everything else, the meta is better now than it has been in a long time.
At least there's no tunnel trogg.

no tunnel trogg..... in stead we have patches, corridor creeper, scalebane, bone mare, spiteful summoner. all of which are ten times worse than tunnel trogg, and every deck runs 10 of them. The meta is way worse than its ever been, mana cost no longer have any meaning, everything can happen at just about every single turn.
wouldn't be surprised if they released a 1 mana 0/1 common, at the end of turn recruit a 10 drop , in the next expansion...

Agreed. I have been playing since beta. Raza priest is the most broken deck this game has ever seen, worse than undertaker, secret paladin etc etc. I tried it for a while and I litteraly could not lose if I got the Raza turn 5/ Anduin turn 8 combo. Noone should get handed free wins like this, including me. What a joke.

The game become something about 3 classes.

Aggro Paladin. Priest decks. Secret/tempo mage. Control/Cubelock. Tempo Rogue.
Sounds more than 3 classes eh ?

How many of that have you seen over rank 5+, take a screenshot please, I would love to see that.

That's actual data, showing what classes are actually common. Notice that your "unseen" mage, is the 3rd most popular from rank 5-1.
I'm at rank 7 and see pretty much Rogue, Priest, Paladin, Huntard and Warlock. Every once in a blue moon a secret mage sneaks in. No shaman...no warriors...rarely a druid too.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

The Roshambo to Hearthstone. Please be nice. Don't insult or be mad at someone for throwing Rock.
Everything is good for me unless this game becomes again the shamanstone cancer that was years ago.
Where double trogg on board at turn 1 was an instant loss.
Now at least there are many viable decks unless you are in the ranks 3/legend.
Best quotes:
"Casual is perfectly fine"
"warlock is not overpowered"
"Playing odd paladin just to test it"
