Like the thread says. Can we start treating priest like the ugly step child now? They've had their fun in the sun and now it's time to go away. It's no different then playing against pirate warrior or aggro shaman or undertaker hunter. every single priest deck right now is a brainless auto-pilot deck with cards that do nothing but cheat out their big minions or burst you down. Everybody asked for this. And because everybody apparently loved priest so much, it's here to stay. If it isn't clear, i am very much tilted from having played against 18 priests in my last 20 games. It's not fun. And honestly it's the type of garbage that makes me want to stop playing the game. Because if i have to start playing to counter priest, then i'm not playing what i want and i'm not going to be enjoying any of it. Every other class gets a close game but dribbling priest comes along playing solitaire....
Actually, why doesn't Team 5 set it up so that only priest players can play against each other. just let them have their circle jerk in a dead corner of HS.
Somehow an entire class is equivalent to a specific archetype like Pirate Warrior...
Gimme dat salt.
Yes, because anything other then Big priest or one of the variants of Razakus, priest is unplayable. And those 3 decks are as garbage and mindlessly auto-pilot as pirate warrior. there is literally no debating it.

Dragon Priest ? Big Spell Priest ? Not Tier 1, but not unplayable. Not to mention, there wasn't manyWarrior decks in MSoG other than Pirate, so...
Also, Razakus mindless auto-pilot ? Give me a break.

Salt??Priest decks are now designed for braintard players. i took razakus priest once on the ladder at rank 5. Think that i have 40 victories with it and i never play priest because i find it a cancer class. Pulled out the combo and then proceeded to win.with all those draws and removals you just cant lose. I have no idea how some people say that it is skill based. The deck wins itself and it is designed for some really braindead kids. After that i instantly removed the deck from my collection because i felt bad playing it. It requires no skill, no brain, no thoughts throughout turns and endgame plays itself. Is it like pirate warrior?yes.Indeed. You just play the glowing cards and still, some people using it are roping every turn. Poor losers.

Yes Razakus is auto-pilot. I don't know what it is with the hearthstone community that thinks any of these decks are even remotely hard to use. It's like once a deck starts using more then 2 cards a turn, suddenly it takes a genius to pilot it. Unless you played patron warrior, then you don't know what a hard deck to pilot is

There is a salt thread on this forum somewhere. Go find it. And no, you are wrong. There are at least 4 viable priest decks right now, so its nothing like shamanstone or pirate warrior as you mentioned.
I like how everybody was on board when it came to shitting on warrior, shaman, hunter, rogue and warlock but now that it comes to priest, suddenly everybody gets defensive and "SALT"!
What is with the HS community constantly displaying this us vs. them mentality? If you play priest you are a brain dead monster. If you never played patron warrior you don't know how it is to pilot a difficult deck. If you don't make your own decks you are a pathetic little loser. If you make your own you are superior, unless you are losing to a specific class then either you built it wrong or again that whole class needs a nerf. Spend money on the game? You are dumb and responsible for making the game worse. F2P you are dedicated and have more reasons to complain. Can't we all just see it is a game? If you aren't having fun or enjoying it don't spend your money on it or don't play. Why are all these people spending their time on a forum like this that hosts decks if they never netdeck or have positive experiences with the game? Rant ended.

Up with you :) Perfection.
Now can we close this thread with no new information? There is a salt thread somewhere and this is a perfect candidate.

It stopped having the "it's just a game" sheen when ladder was introduced and when there started being tournaments. Having a ladder system creates a superiority instinct. Some people are fine staying at rank 20 for their cardbacks and playing casual the rest of the month. Some find it challenging to try and climb the ladder. Some try to fight for rewards in the arena. And those that see this as just a game aren't on forums. On top of everything, these types of forums were created so that the more committed players can get together and talk about the game and not so much about the decks. I still have a huge problem with the Hearthpwn authors posting decks when the number one problem is how "cancerous" *insert any deck* here is. I created a post voicing my displeasure. I didn't tell other people to click on it. They're insecurities wanted to click on it just to comment "salt" and not offer anything productive. Just like it peaked your interest to want to voice your displeasure with "just another meaningless rant post"

Yep, and you are exaggerating. You said "brain dead kids" play it, you played the deck once or twice and felt dirty thus deleting it, compared two different archtypes and used braindead a couple of times, and called people losers. So yes, salt.

Pretty much this. It is a lot like forum with President Trump supporters versus liberals, except here it is about a card game based on World of Warcraft. Same type of people, same kinda extreme reactions, no real stakes to speak of. Just endless tribalism, neatly divided into 9 groups. Pick a class, any class, and defend it to the death.

Mm.. salty.
And to answer your question; No.
Even the most brainless of the Priest decks still requires more intelligence than Pirate Warrior. Seriously. Play the SMOrc song. Swap out the Beast references for Pirate references and you're there.
If you play Priest and you do nothing but smash face, you will *lose*. In Pirate Warrior, it's encouraged. Huntertaker? Yeah, was fairly encouraged then too. Jade Shaman even needed more brains, albeit not by much.
Because if i have to start playing to counter priest, then i'm not playing what i want and i'm not going to be enjoying any of it.
I agree that teching against certain classes is annoying. Ahem.. Pirate anything for the last year. But.. that's also the competitive meta. As I've said to others; If you're so sure that 60%+ of your games will be against a particular class or archetype, why *wouldn't* you tech against it? Winning is fun. And if doing what it takes to be competitive, to win, isn't fun for you, there's always casual. People on the ladder play to win. If you aren't, then that's your prerogative, but you're also making your own life more frustrating.
