In Agrro decks these days u just dont need to think. Like 0 thoughts at all, somethimes u just smorc on curve... If there are any hunter agro players from beta thay can asure you that aggro was good and not easy to play.. but now with all these same cammon cards in every class... what can i say .. :)
Yeah those times it required too much skill to play your pre nerfed undertaker on T1, your 2 mana owl (which happens to be a beast) to silence sludge belcher and your 2 mana starving buzzard with your 2 mana unleash the hounds
You have this really cool idea. You prepare a deck, with a couple of cool powerful combos, that require you to have a greedy deck. But you are excited about it. It is such a COOL idea! GO into ladder. Guy comes up, he plays aggro. Do 5 turns, and he beats you. Did non of the cool combos, or anything else, but just get attacked face. Obviously you do not feel any love for your opponent.
People hate Aggro, because it doesn't let other people do anything of what they want. Either play also aggro against them. Or just play defense. Even when you control the board enough so you don't get killed by them, they are more likely to concede before you get to do your game plan. And that is why people hate aggro. Its a game plan imposed by one player over the other.
Well, blame it to your greed, not your opponents. If you want to do your greedy combos and not get punished you can try to play against the innkeeper;
Everyone arguing that aggro isn't easy to play is ignoring the simple fact that bots can play the deck and have a good win rate. If you're an aggro player and you're coming to the forum because you think it isn't right that people think your deck is easy to play then you're basically admitting they're right because your ego is hurt and you're feeling the need to defend your decision, just saying. Playing aggro doesn't make you any less of a person than any other player but if you're feelings are hurt then perhaps it's because you actually think a little less of yourself for playing the deck.
What an pathetic excuse. If you really think aggro is easy, go ahead and reach legend nr1 with it. It's way easier to get high legend with a control deck than an aggro deck. Playing aggro is easy, mastering it is hard. (and if you still think aggro is easy, try atleast to reach legend with it before commenting)
I've been playing a lot of archetypes since the beginning, and I know the feeling losing against aggro as a control player, but I always have this sweet feeling when u beat one. If I play aggro myself, I never feel good beating a control player, because that's what feels normal.
What are you even talking about?
1.) you can make that exact argument about any deck, that doesn't mean aggro isn't easy to play. 2.) This doesn't change the fact that a bot can pilot an aggro deck effectively. I've never heard of a bot piloting a control or combo deck with any amout success. If the deck can be played by a bot, it's pretty simple. 3.) See my point about feelings being hurt.
I could care less about what deck any person plays (except filthy mid-range hunters), but don't play a simple deck and lie to yourself about the ease of use.
It's because Aggro decks *are* easy. Most of the time the decks are autopilot. Can I play this card? If yes; play it. Aggro decks do not need to worry about saving resources and such; because if the game goes long in the first place; they've probobly already conceded because by nature; an Aggro-deck is all-in.
Remember a few years ago when botting was rampart before Blizzard did big ban waves? What decks were the bots playing? Aggro Shaman; Zoo and Hunter. Why? Because the decks are autopilot decks that even bots can play.
Even if you consider decks like Pirate Warrior and Face Hunter not 'easy' to play; give me a deck in Hearthstone easier to play than Pirate Warrior or Face Hunter. You can't.
The decks are easy to play. The simple fact is that the skill ceiling and floor of aggro decks is so low that there is no skill expression. The game is usually decided by one of two things:
1: RNG on draws
2: The non-aggro player making a misplay.
So assumeing the non-aggro player dosen't misplay; they basically lose because of draws. Not because the other player is more skilled. In fact; the other player could literally be a bot or a 5 year-old for all they know. The feeling of powerlessness; losing against a deck which has 0 skill expression; because of luck of the draw; is what makes people mad.

Posting again because it's not letting me edit my post.
1: The strength of aggro has nothing to do with the skill expression of the deck.
2: Aggro is prevalent on the ladder simply due to speed of games. Therefor; to actually climb ladder; you need to play anti-aggro. You tech in anti-aggro cards. If you have a 60% winrate against Aggro; and aggro is the most common deck on the ladder due to game speed and ease of building; you climb. This; in turn; makes it harder for aggro decks to climb; since Aggro v Aggro is 50/50 and Aggro loses to anti-aggro decks.
Of course if aggro players were smart they'd stray from their netdecks and add a couple of tech cards to beat mirrors as well. Or add a couple of larger cards so they're not automatically screwed against a deck that has anti-aggro tech. But they're not smart.
Yeah because playing your 1 drop on turn 1 and then your 2 drop on turn 2 and then your 3 drop in turn 3 is really hard... or playing your 3 1 drops in turn 6 and then going for divine favor to refill your hand sure is super skill intensive... I'm not a salty baby that says all aggro only players are brainless potatoes but you can't possibly argue that playing any aggro deck is harder and requires more skill and thought that any heavy control or combo deck for example. Also yeah, the fact that a lot of people play aggro to push to legend is mainly because of the fast games but having to think less helps a bit doesn't it?
As someone who plays a lot of combo decks I agree with that part, but how does control really take that much skill compared to weaker control decks? It pretty much is just stalling for and/or sitting on answers while developing small boards and then dropping massive hard removal when things like N'Zoth or Gul'Dan spam a wide board. Even before DKs where a thing and could win just off of the hero powers picking off weaker control boards all I would need to win with either control priest or control lock against other control decks was to pretty much play close to nothing and force my opponent to over commit to beat me against the fatigue clock and wipe their board and develop 1-2 minions until they risk trying to push again, in which case I would wipe their boards yet again. Control really doesn't take as much skill as people try to claim.
To people who use bots as an argument: if you meet bots at your level of play, you're ridiculously bad at this game.
I have faced aggro douchebags that made me wanna vommit with their plays at legend top 400. The only reason i was sure they werent bots was their constanst spamming and friends request they were sending me after the game.Your arguement is invalid.

aggro is not easy or difficult, is only faster

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
