Who thinks the same as me? This is a digital card game for god sake, why having an animated art on a card should be something special? As I said in the title, all cards should be like golden ones by default (without the golden border of course). The game would look so much better if that were the case. People that like their favourite legendaries animated shouldn't have to spend 1600 extra dust for them. I know Blizzard will never change this, but still, I think it is stupid as f...k.
I get what you mean but look at Overwatch, takes ages to get 1 golden weapon. a full golden deck in hearthstone is for either pro players or very rich people. tough in Overwatch you cant buy the gold weapons you just have to play huge amount of time.
No, animated cards are a cool reward and should stay rare. Almost every card game, digital and physical, have rarer special versions of cards and it's fine as it is.

No, it's not fine as it is, it's just an excuse to make you pay more for something that should be easy to obtain, at least in video games.

And you can thank the people willing to pay extra for gold cards for keeping the game free-to-play.
I personally dislike golden cards. I think that the ugly gold covers up the cool class colors, etc for the cards. As such, I instantly dust all golds (unless that’s the only version of the card that I have). I don’t mind them existing, though. If I ever get to the point where I have every single card, I guess at that point I may start wanting to collect golds, but not before.
I do, however, with that golden heroes would count casual wins. Some people just don’t really like the ladder.

Can you show me were it is said that Blizzard needs that extra money to keep this game free-to-play, or are you just making up things?
If all cards were golden a single pack would cost around 1000 gold so that Blizz could keep making money. Enjoy having regular cards but actually having cards.

The golden cards are completely optional and they just add an aesthetic feature to the collection, not affecting the gameplay at all. In most games, skins and other appearence-changing items are only obtainable through microtransactions, while in hearthstone you're still able to get the golden cards without spending a single penny, although it may take a while. Golden cards should stay the way they are.
I'm assuming this is your first card game... It's just like Foil cards in the TCGs... There are people who play and solely care about the cards and effects, so they don't bother with shiny cards. There are others who also like to collect, and getting rare or foil versions of cards is part of the fun aswell... I don't see the problem with both existing... I do wish I had my full golden Freeze Mage, but I'll get there eventually...
No, it's not my first card game, but considering this is a digital card game, things should be different.
It takes some effort to make an animation for every card in the game. Some you'll just pull from a pack by accident and go "oh, that looks cool". But most of the golden adventure cards don't see the light of day. You actually have to go out of your way and craft those...which not many people are going to do. Seems like a waste of production.
But it's probably fine as it is. Some people just don't like animated cards. A colleague of mine was watching me play my fully golden wild Dragon Priest a while ago, he said all the animations were causing some dodgy effects with his vision. Haha.

Disagree it makes golden cards unique and wow factor.
Many people don't care if their cards are animated. Opening golden cards gives us a ton of extra dust.

I hate all the sparkles in game and I am very happy not having to play with that glitter.
It's fine as it is in my opinion, I like collecting golden cards. Different strokes for different folks.
I totally agree, I also think they should give me all the cards they make and give me back rubs. It wouldn't cost them that much.

Jesus Christ, this comments...

I'd be fine with that, I love golden cards.
