The Obvious counter is two eater of secrets in a shaman deck, hope they don’t die, get them back in your hand with legendary so you can still not have enough to cover the 12 secrets they will play this game. Eater of secret totally a plausible counter. (please note the obvious sarcasm)
if you play eater of secrets the algorithim simply wont match you against secrets, you will more likely get a mirror match and both eaters in your opening hand.
I dunno. My ladder is just no-minions Hunter, no idea why. This deck is not even good.
No-minions hunter is actually a decent matchup against secret/tempo mage. They get free 4/2 cats from the cat tick secret and not summoning minions means never triggering explosive runes or, if they play it, mirror image.
The funny thing is try playing 10 games with a deck, after a while you will see the same counters over and over. Then you will move to counter what you are seeing, and the game will give you completely different counters. It is becoming nearly unplayable, because between the matchmaking, the card draw and the 'weighted' rng mechanics, it feels like the game is playing itself.
You do realize that's impossible right? Because if it matches you up against your counter, then someone is being matched against their easy wins.
yeah there is plenty of secret-tempo mages and some paladins, few dragon priests, spell hunter and control warlocks but you know what? most annoying part is there's people who still play jade druid. That cancer archetype needs to die /that archetype made me hate druid/, i mean jade players pls, new expansion hits and there are lot of fun decks to try and try to get some fun dont ruin others fun, at least until meta settles.
Well the easy answer is this. Some players don't have enough money or gold to purchase the whole new set, so they'll just play their old refined decks. It goes down to rich players wanting to try something new and poor players wanting wins to get gold, epics, ect.
Everybody suffers.
Well, i completely disagree on this one "Some players don't have enough money or gold to purchase the whole new set". So expansion didn't anounce 1 or 2 day ago before its release date, i mean you have time to save your gold before expansion hits, and it's not about money. I'm f2p and unpacked 20+ packs from only gold and 4 legendaries including free weapon. So you don't really need money unless you want all the cards of the expansion but you don't need all the cards to play few decks.
Right? I got 35 packs from gold and I don't even try hard to save gold. I could have 9000 more gold than that for a new expansion, and that's not counting if I actually buckled down on arena play... I just haven't enjoyed arena... except for the halloween event. I wish they'd bring that back, to me it was a far better mode.
Seems to be more no creature Hunters but seen a lot of diversity so far, only Rank 10 but seen Skull of Man'ari Warlock, Rin Warlock (with voidlords/Master Oakheart etc.), Jade Druid, Twig of the World Tree combo (with Ixlid etc.), Razakus Priest, Dragon Priest, Murloc Pally (was shocked to see that), buff dude pally (level up and a lot of token generation), Secret Mage, Control Mage (with Dragon's Fury, Medivh and a lot of high cost spells), Kingsbane Rogue, Tempo Rogue (sadly Prince Keleseth is still around xD). I'd say the most underrepresented classes seem to be Shaman and Warrior atm basically haven't seen any. Hardly as bad as the OP makes it out to be.
