I realize a lot of people don't pay to play Hearthstone, but when you go on the ladder to try out some new cards and face opponents using ZERO new cards...it is really a lame experience.
Blizzard needs to do something about this, it really isn't fun.

What????? Blizzard needs to force people to play new cards? Either you are an incredibly lame troll or an incredibly large idiot.
What fun is it to see the same old decks with zero new cards? Call me an idiot, I'm playing at freaking rank 20...everyone got at least 6 packs without much effort.
Sorry that I think people netdecking last meta decks in a new meta are lame.
Think what you want. Why hype up an expansion that when it hits(this happens every time), nobody actually is playing it. What is the point? Don't you want access to more cards if they are available? I don't see how Blizzard helping people get more cards is a bad thing.

What do you mean no one is playing it. Majority of the people on ladder are trying new things and some people are just playing their old decks. What's the problem with that? If you're trying to make a new competitive deck then winning against the old decks is giving you proof that the deck is working and if you just want to play a crazy combo then you have to go into the game knowing that it will be difficult to pull off and you may lose a lot of games. Best thing you can do is play around near a rank floor and if you climb its good and if you are losing its no big deal. As time goes you will naturally see more new cards. No need to force people to switch decks the moment the expansion drops.
I KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS, fill a deck with Kobolds cards and then use King Togwaggle to shove those cards into your opponents possession. You are now facing an opponent using new cards. Lock the thread and throw away the key, this problem has been resolved.

and IF Blizzard did that (which they did to already), you're still gonna end up whining.
It might be interesting if Blizzard let people try out all the cards for maybe 4-5 days after an expansion is released, then take them all away. That way people could figure out which cards they want to craft. That way people might not regret crafting, say Kingsbane, and won't have to disenchant it later.
Just a thought.

If only everyone had the money to get every card a few days after the expansion releases
I mean... they're kind of allowed to?
Granted I'm using just new cards because its fun, but could you imagine the outcry if Blizzard FORCED you to only use new cards?

No, blizzard shouldnt' force people - it should make getting new cards less costly so more people can enjoy in the NEW fun, not the old fun.
I'm having lot of fun with mill rogue in wild with this bad boy
It features The Darkness and is hilarious
Blizzard shouldn't make it AS unwieldy for more people to get cards at a least slightly less cost.
Yes those people are twats, no blizzard doesn't need to do anything about it. Play casual, why would you expect new experimental decks on ranked ever?

A lot pf people grind rank at the start of the expansion and use what decks they are sure will work, no time to experiment until after.
Make Paladin great again.
fair enough, but once the new decks are figured about people just don't bother experimenting anymore...

Actually, people purposely play well-established decks in early expansion to get easy rank up.
Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
Warlock went from tier 1 to teir 0.
Keeper of the Grove Gone, but not forgotten.
