Personally I've seen a couple of cards that not a lot of people are talking about released recently that I think are going to end up being just as strong as Duskbreaker, Psychic Scream, Kobold Librarian, or any of the other guaranteed "five star" level cards that aren't receiving too much hype and wanted to point them out!
First of all, I believe Lesser Diamond Spellstone is a natural fit into big priest. It is slow, but it's also a N'Zoth-like effect for only 7 Mana, and should make Big Priest completely unbeatable in slower matchups. My pick for the strongest spellstone of the set.
I think that due to Rogue getting some extra stall tools this expansion so that they can actually stay alive long enough to think about late game win conditions, Kobold Illusionist becomes an extremely interesting card in Malygos decks. All you need is Bloodmage Thalnos and Backstab, which you would put in your deck anyway, to pull Malygos out of your hand. Then you still have 4 mana left over to kill your opponent with. That's pretty good.
Finally, my pick for the sneaky entry into one of the best 5 cards of the set that no one was expecting is Dire Mole. 1 mana 1/3s that get stronger are really good cards. I think every single Midrange Hunter and Aggro Druid deck will run 2 copies of this because they love having their beast tags, and 3 health is a lot on turn 1, making for an extremely consistent buff target next turn.
So am I on to something or completely wrong? And also what are your picks for some cards that are being overlooked right now?
Lesser diamond is not that good in big priest at lest i hope so becuase you need to dead minons that are diffrent it cant be the same and that deck dosent run enogh spells to fully upragde it

Big Priest runs waaaay more than 8 spells bub. Shouldn't be an issue upgrading.
I’m a big fan of Grand Archivist, especially in a “Big Spell” Mage. If you build your deck right then best case it clears your opponents board or draws cards at the end of each turn. And considering that your opponents minions are going to be dead or frozen after playing Archivist, his 7 health makes him really hard to remove. Also strong in Hunter for pulling Call of the Wild.
Totally agree on the Mole. Tbh, not sure it is really overlooked.
I am also convinced that Carnivorous Cube will be more annoying than expected. Insane in Wild Eggs, and not so slow.
The Beetle looks also very good to me, and it concurs in the direction of Defensive Hunter (calling it Control would be offensive...heh).
I'm a huge fan of the Cube. I'm definitely going to be trying to make it work early on this expansion. As long as silence isn't too popular I could see it just being too many stats for a lot of decks to handle as long as you hit something decently sized with it.
Oh, and Sonya Shadowdancer was forgotten about because she was revealed so early, but that has potential to be one of the best cards Rogue has ever had.
Dire Mole will definitely see plenty of play, it's not gamebreaking but it is a perfect sticky one drop for Hunters and Token Druids.
Lesser Sapphire Spellstone seems pretty overlooked. I imagine it will be much more consistent for OTK's in Wild, but it's possible that someone will be able to figure out a deck to use it even in Standard for crazy plays.
Sneaky Devil is the last card I'd mention, and not just because it's a solid pun for the theme of this thread. I think it can definitely find a home in some of the Prince Keleseth decks, especially Zoolock/Tempo Demonlock. The stats aren't great, but the effect plus Stealth is very powerful. It forces your opponent to have an AoE answer if you choose to leave it in Stealth.

You still need more then 2 different dead minons to make it work
1. Zola the Gorgon will give Kazakus a great final bow in Standard across the three classes he can be used in.
2. Mage will be the big surprise and have the most deck types. Control/Elemental Mage will be infuriating to Hearthstone players for its ability to rebound, Secret Mage and Quest Mage will remain consistent, but Casino Mage will become the next hot meme deck that pops up for fun (and eventually becomes serious in the next expansion).
3. The Darkness will be popular for two weeks until people realize it is Blood of the Ancient One 2.0, and Razakus priests can simply switch to the slower control variant that can win and infuriate in many other ways.
4. Cataclysm will make Quest Warlock work. It won't be successful because a free pair of 3/2s just aren't enough.
5. Someone will figure out a working Quest Paladin deck featuring Lynessa or Bolvar as second acts. Not high tier, but enough to make Galvadon a fun OTK deck that pops up here and there, even occaionally appearing in the low 10s on ladder.
6. Battle of the Gimmick Decks: Temporus will get some play by ballsy Inner Fire priests, making Skulking Geist much more valuable. King Tog will be a Trolden highlight card, but few mill decks will sport it. The Darkness will backfire or be useless more times than not. And Spell Hunter will struggle in awful ways unimaginable, but some will notice the potential it has down the road.
7. Quest Rogue will return to be a flavor of the month, but fortunately, Keleseth and weapon rogue will be found to be sexier.
8. Master O will start off as a meme, then pick up in control or taunt warrior.
9. Players with Ysharrj will hate Crushing Walls, which will be surprise like Meteor.
10. Legendary Weapons will be viewed as a bigger flop overall than quests.
11. Few rogues will play secrets.
12. Few shaman will deviate from evolve/token, despite streamers showing off viable alternative decks.
13. Dragonslayer will be a flavor of the week with the I Hates Priests crowd, but won't reach Golakka Crawler heights.
14. A few decks will utilize recruit, but it will flop.

Problem is the mulligan phase. Big Priest is going tu mulligan all the hand just to get Barnes. And this card basically needs to sit into your hand the entire game in order to get consistently upgraded.
If only there was a chance to draw it after the mulligan or a priest card that could copy a spell from your own deck...darn... Seriously, it's not going to be an issue. Even unupgraded it's good and big priest in its current form runs 5-6 different minions.
That aside my prediction is Spell hunter becomes a legitimate archtype (tier 2ish). Also highlander priest is going to take a hit because of The Darkness

One thing i dont undrstand is why you think the Darknees is going to be good aginst highlander preist its going to run removle and in most cases the Darkness will awaken in his turn and lets not forget thier new 7 mana spell in other words if a giant on turn 4 isnt stoping them why do you think this will
yeah I have been hoping I get Sonya Shadowdancer for a while because I plan on making a crazy jade deck with her. When you have the dk up, double sonya into jade spirit is kind of scary. you have to use a board clear to deal with both sonyas at once, and if you don't I can do crazy stuff like double sonya into aya because one of the sonyas costs less. And if you don't remove both sonyas in a turn they snowball, and you can get insane numbers of jade cards. It is a dream, but running a minion based deck in rogue, with a crazy late game value engine might be doable now that rogue has defensive secrets. I think kingsbane is bad, but I think the rest of rogue is underhyped.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
Explosive Runes. Burn/secret/face will be very strong, that secret is busted. Aluneth also will be great addition to this deck. What is also important is that deck not relying on board too much, can burn from hand (maybe put copy of Pyroblast for additional burn) So it is kinda good vs Psychic Scream
Also i feel like Arcane Tyrant will be almost in every deck. This is something like firelands portal. Now you can cast spell and put something on board for trades, not just skipping the turn
Fungalmancer seems like a very solid zoo card. +2/+2 to 2 minions, i mean it is very very strong. It can follow Saronite Chain Gang on curve. seems good.
Kingsbane and Leyline Manipulator are extremely overrated imo. Leyline is slow, even though it discount some cards because usualy you will loose tempo to generate those cards.
The ideal scenario for leyline is something like play cabalists tome -> put arcane tyrant on board, then play Leyline Manipulator to discount your spells.
It is also kinda good with Elise the Trailblazer, after opening a pack, but thats some sort of control/value mage, which i dont see happening since there is jade druid. and its very slow.
Lesser diamond is not that good in big priest at lest i hope so becuase you need to dead minons that are diffrent it cant be the same and that deck dosent run enogh spells to fully upragde it

he is saying you play it turn four and they can't raza, which is true, it is half decent because of that, and if you look at the wording on the candle, it seems like the candle uses mana the turn you draw it, it has different language than other cards you draw from deck like that. It tells you that you are forced to cast it, and I believe it cost 6 so that is insane too, the point is mainly to screw over your enemy with those candles, not to summon a 20/20, and if they waste removal on it, good for you, now play an actual minion.

Check out my fun and innovative decks here:
Beat your opponent to a pulp with Revenant Warrior or outlast them with Demon Reno Warlock.
Here's a bold one:
Lesser Onyx Spellstone will be amazing, especially when played with Valeera the Hollow (or drawn from Mimic Pod or Thistle Tea).
Essentially "destroy all your opponents minions" isn't something we've seen in Hearthstone yet.
Also I think Paladin Quest will finally be viable.
Oh, and Sonya Shadowdancer was forgotten about because she was revealed so early, but that has potential to be one of the best cards Rogue has ever had.
Highlander Priest with Psychic Scream will be in the God tier.
Dragoncaller Alanna, personally I think she's gonna be very strong, even in current mage archetypes, mage has a lot of 5 or higher cost cards.
The only thing that fucks her good is Shadowreaper Anduin
Don't mind me just passing by
