I actually am. The first couple weeks of an expansion are my favorite. Everything's brand new, no one knows what is best yet, and as a deckbuilder, I love trying out new things, trying to figure out what's strong, and trying to build decks around "bad" cards.
Me too, and I think some of the Recruit cards a very powerful... Board presence and "drawing" from your deck? Particularly the Paladin one. but some other other ones as well. The druid one is way better than people realize. and can be "comboed" with the 3/1 ramp/ 3/6 taunt.
Not much. They revealed all the good stuff. The only ones are a lot of commons, rares and some leggies. They even revealed warrior weapon before stream. :/. Yet I am excited to see the crazy RNG decks.
Not really. Looks like a pretty lackluster expansion so far mostly filled with garbage and a few horribly broken cards that'll force a few decks to the top. The few cards that have unusual effects you could make a meme deck with are, as usual, epic and legendary so it's not like I'm going to be able to have fun trying out a variety of deck ideas.
My hopes for this expansion pretty much rest on dungeon mode being fun and rewarding to play (and the rewarding part went out the window when it turned the only thing available was card back).
So, in less than 3 hours and a half, the rest of the cards from this new set (K&C) will start to be revealed. Are you people excited?
Nope
Same honestly
More than half the cards remaining are commons and will be boring regardless of whether they're Bonemare power level or not
Excitement for this expansion is 4/10
I ceased to be excited about hearthstone expansions since i understood the game is and will remain the same and that the meta will always be boring in two or three weeks whatever the cards. I find the current meta pretty good so i just hope the next one will be similar
While normally I would be super excited for an expansion like this, right now Priest is a completely untouchable juggernaut that hard counters everything that doesn't hard counter it, AND it's getting yet another card to nullify its one weakness. Why is Big Druid considered tier 1 right now? It's because the only way to beat Priest is to play something like 5 8/8s or equally gigantic minions one after another until the Priest keels over. Not any more, though! They can just shuffle them into your deck along with some cheap garbage so they can OTK you before you rebuild your board!
The guy who came before me who said every single theorycraft ends with "Does it beat Priest? No? End of theorycraft." is absolutely right. Unless Blizzard shows us that they reprinted Beneath the Grounds, I cannot get even remotely excited for any card. Of course, it might turn out that control warrior ends up with enough armor gain options to simply tank everything Priest throws at it and then kill them in fatigue, but does anyone REALLY want that as the new meta? "The deck that turtles through everything you throw at it and then steamrolls or fatigues you, the deck that nullifies everything you play, and then OTKs you, and Jade Druid."
It's not even fun for the guys that play those three decks, since the first two don't actually get to control anything with their control decks (although Razakus Priest is really more akin to Miracle Rogue minus all of Miracle Rogue's weaknesses at this point.), they just get to stare at each other while the Warrior slowly gains 30 armor, and the priest draws a bunch of cards and burns board clears to avoid milling himself. Meanwhile the Jade Druid matchup is "Does the Jade Druid's opponent draw Geist on 6? If yes, they win! If not, the Druid crushes them." Do any of these matchups sound particularly exciting to you? 'Cause unless Blizzard reveals a hard counter to Highlander, that's what you can expect. Well, them and the new card-draw supplied aggro rogue, so I hope everyone enjoys those sprinkled in with their one weakness removed as well.
Edit: So The Darkness is a thing, and it's neutral. I am content. There is balance in the Force once more.
You honestly think Blizzard can't see this coming and print the cards to balance the meta out? What if spell hunter has enough burn to keep razakus in check? Burn mage also looks capable of pretty serious burn which razakus won't be able to survive.
It's nice that a class is getting powerful.cards but could they fucking take it down a notch with Priest for one expansion? The class had been getting good support since Gadgetzan and it's starting to get out of control.
If you think me and this guy are crazy, just see Wild ladder for yourself then you'll get the picture. And guess what? Standard is starting to look like that now too. You have either decks to combat Bonemare decks or Priest. That's it.
Also..as someone who plays the devil out if Control Warrior and in all if my experience playing the fatigue archetype..it's actually not that easy to try and tank all the burst coming at you. In most cases I actually lose simply because I can't armor up fast enough to nullify the insane amount of burst the DK is able to pull off it's mind boggling. One moment I'm at 30 health the next. It's different than OTK decks because you honestly don't expect them to Chuck that much at any given moment.
I'M SO EXCITED THAT I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT.
The original dream. Whenever you attack summon King Krush. :P
To My Side! ruined it for me, even if there are enough busted support cards, then Blizz should have revealed that card along with them!
When and where is this reveal as if now?

I am but very afraid there'll just be more disappointment.

Hunter weapon. 8 mana 3/3 when you play this you've maid it to turn 8 without conceding.
No because most of them are neutral cards. I get more excited with class cards.
Valar Morghulis

in 30 minutes on the playhearthstone twitch channel.
My thoughts exactly.

Not even a little bit.
Legendary weapons and recurit are the most basic, underwhelming and boring addition to the game yet.
.
My body is ready. This reveal decides whether I pre-order!
